El Toreo East Lancaster

Talk about shit service. According to Emanuele in Palmdale this Eltoreo is not owned by the Eltoreo brand. That would explain the bad service and horrible staff. It’s probably why they can’t keep a full staff because the new owner is shit. If the El Toreo brand wanted to stay good then they should make them change their name.

Great small scale Mexican with hard working service & decent salsa. Huge burritos. Get it wet style.

Great food and great service! The waiters treat you like family. I’ve been going to this location for about 4 years now and I have never had a bad experience. My food is always perfect.

The service is great. (although sometimes a little slow when it’s not busy) everyone is super nice. The food is just not good. It tastes old and bland. We have given it many chances and it’s always the same thing. I think it’s completely overpriced for what you get. We are no longer going to eat there. El Toreo Far West is awesome! Everything tastes fresh over there.

The food is great! Great customer service. Nice quiet atmosphere. Love this place. The prices are a little high but the quality and quantity of the specials are well worth the money. I love ordering the tacos!

The food is good, the staff is very nice nut the are overworking their staff. Two tie we have gone an there is 1 wait or for the dining room. Service is good but it takes so long to get the food. We are normally done eating quickly but it took 35+ min to get our plates. Never fear because they are quick with the chips and drinks.

I just walked in right away i sat down attended by great people, I came here to have dinner as I didn’t feel like cooking tonight I guess I picked the right spot not only does this food taste great it also feels like home … I’m happy that I could still find places like this here in the AV ???
Back in Texas I sure never felt like I ever found a bomb place like this lol but glad I’m back home … I’m going to have to try all their locations here local …

This place is a total rip off! We ordered a la carte, they brought us the meals, when we told them about the mistake they told us not to worry about it, then proceeded to charge us! Really? Were charged for your mistake? I asked for just a small cheese quesadilla for my one year old, they brought us a $ 13 meal! Are you kidding me? All that aside the food wasnt great and FOR SURE not worth the price! Wont be returning!!!

I love the beef tacos. Super good they are nice and crispy have just enough cheese and lettuce. The re fried beans are like no other. The cheese enchiladas are pretty darn good too. Yummy!

The carnitas are inconsistent. if you order an early dinner to go, you get lunches leftover meat. Generally dry and over fried. Same with the chili Rionos..

I like this place. Nice little bar as well as restaurant. I ordered a carne asada plate and the steak was a nice, fairly thick cut one. I’ll be back!

So I’ll make this review short & simple. It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten here, but I figured why not. I used to be an avid customer but not since moving away from the AV. I used to love to come here & get the enchiladas plate. So for old times sake I ordered the enchiladas, which came with rice, beans, a taquito, & your choice of soup of the day (usually albondiga) or salad. The enchiladas were yummy. Not very spicy though; but it does taste like they make their enchilada sauce by hand. Im totally the type to judge a Mexican restaurant by their enchiladas. I kind of feel like if you can’t make an enchilada right, then how great could the food actually be. And it’s the first thing I want to try whenever at a new place. My cheese enchilada was good, but not the best I’ve had. The taquito lacked in seasoning but still pretty good. The taquito came drizzled with guacamole & sour cream. For the most part it was your standard enchilada plate, nothing special. It wasn’t quite as good as I remembered. If you’re going to try eating at this chain I recommend the one in Quartz hill off of L & 40^th st w. The food has more flavor & more atmosphere. On the night that I went the restaurant was so empty that you could hear a pin drop. Hope this review helped.

Superb customer service, at least 3, different servers assisted us, checking periodically if we needed anything. Food was delicious, hot and plentiful. Chips hot fresh with two types of salsa mild and hot. Our dining experience was one we will remember and recommend. Thank you staff of El Torito.

Eh, good food, but by no means great. I recently met a group of friends here (their choice, not mine). They all ordered various quesadillas. I ordered 3 shrimp tacos ala carte. I did this because I don’t like their rice or beans, so I figured I save a few $$…wrong!
The tacos came on flour tortillas with some shredded cabbage and a lime flavored cream sauce on the side. No avocado, no pico… nothing else. I will say there was lots of shrimp, and it was good, but they weren’t my idea of good shrimp tacos by any stretch.
My bill for the 3 tacos and a soda was $ 21. Never again. Next time I meet these ladies I’ll pick the restaurant.

We used to come here a lot but Domingo’s opened up closer to us. We came here for old time sake and I was very disappointed. We got one round of chips. Seriously? That’s why I go to Mexican restaurants! There was a 15 minute point that all three of us were out of drinks and there were NO waiters in sight.
It’s really clean inside, it’s easy to get a table and the wait staff is super friendly.
The food was really good and the salsa is amazing! I still recommend. Maybe it was just an off night.

This place has very good food. I tend to come here while visiting family in Lancaster. There are plenty of place to sit. Every time i have been there, there is no wait. The food comes out fast and hot\.
If your look to go there for the bar i hope your lucky because there are only 3 or 4 seats at the bar and there is usually someone in them. But i recommend eating here if you are ever on the east side of Lancaster.
