I’ve had three experiences here, all of which had been the same.
The first time, we waited for 2 hours in a loud, angry waiting room where children and their families were irritable, past our scheduled appointment time, which we arrived early for.
The second time, we waited for 45 minutes in the same situation past our appointment time in an emergency situation.
The third time we arrived for a scheduled appointment, today, we signed in.
The girls behind the desk didn’t check the paper that I signed in on for 20 minutes, while I sat listening to all the gossip and juicy social details of their lives.
When I heard a «good morning!» I turned, finally excited to to be acknowledged. When I returned the greeting with «good morning!» The response was «oh, I wasn’t talking to you.»
I waited another 5 minutes until one of the women, irritatedly (how can you be irritated that I’m here? I have the first appointment in the morning?) looked at my name and shortly said «you’re not supposed to be in here until 11.»
The email reminder confirmed the time that I scheduled that was also on the reminder card as 8:00. «But appointments don’t start until 8:30.»
The dentists in this place, once you’re past the wall of appalling treatment at the front desk, are quite skilled and personable. It’s unfortunate, really. I wasn’t a fan of «no parents with the patients» at all, especially after being repeatedly reminded that my family is «in the way».
What an upsetting experience.

Where is the half star option? This organization is just terrible. They keep moving appointment times because they schedule for locations that aren’t even up and running yet. Then I was on hold for over 22 minutes and put on hold three times to be told that the Lancaster location was «really booked.» No offer of their next appointment, mind you and for that Karen Perry (sp?) your employment should be terminated. Will not be taking my daughter here.

Terrible, absolutely terrible scheduling policies. They schedule you then move you then move you again and then the next thing you know you’re almost a year past your original date. In one instance they scheduled us then closed the office and then offered us another date 3 months later. The scheduler kept telling me over and over about how I had to understand how busy they are and they have a lot going on. Keep treating your customers like this and you’ll have plenty of openings. We’re going elsewhere thanks.
