Beautifully decorated with intriguing treasures around each corner, thoughtfully accommodated (luxurious hot tub en suite, amazing shower head, incredibly comfortable bed with the softest linens). The owners clearly have a mind and eye for making their guests feel welcomed and without wants. The front porch is the perfect spot to sip on a glass of wine and watch the famous Lancaster horse-drawn buggies go up and down the street. Bonus: a beautiful walking trail attached to the YMCA just across the street! I’ll definitely be back when in town!

Old class charm with a luxurious feel. Wonderfully decorated with neat vintage treasures around every turn. The charming quiet rustic spirit of this home is blended perfectly with posh upgrades like a duel head standing shower, electric fireplace, and even a hot tub. Breakfast was inventive hot filling and delicious. The inn keeper has thought of every amenity to make the stay pampering. From beverage service to bath robes, i felt spoiled. Truly a peaceful nights rest in comfort.

My wife and I plan a trip to the Lancaster area every year. We have stayed at most of the local hotels but two years ago decided to give the Australian Walkabout B&B a try.
Everything about this B&B is pleasant. The house itself is nicely decorated. The owner, Lynne, has a wonderfully outgoing personality. And most importantly the room are quite big! In our room we have a queen sized bed inside a spacious room, a full fixed bathroom with shower, and an additional room with a jacuzzi along with a nice sitting area and a gas powered fireplace. This is our second year back staying at this B&B.
For those that want, a very nice breakfast is served every day at 9am.
Give this place a try if you’re in the area.

I’ve been to a lot of B&Bs in my day and this is definitely one of the best.
I was looking around for a nice place to stay overnight in Lancaster County, PA. I checked around and got a super high recommendation from a Facebook friend and their website look nice.
I reserved my room online (very easy) and showed up in the afternoon I had booked. The innkeeper couldn’t be nicer or more helpful.
The big plus is the room. It wasn’t tiny like a lot of B&Bs. the amenities were quite nice — wi-fi, small flat screen TV, radio/CD payer and a super cool shower.
Breakfast was nice and tasty. Served at 9:00am incase you want to sleep in.
There’s no question that if I’m going to be in Lancaster County, this is the place I’ll want to stay.
