My husband and I stayed at the Apple Bin Inn for our honeymoon. Jamie and Steve are amazing Inn keepers and really care about their customers. Upon our arrival we were giving a tour of the main house, and shown were we had reserved to stay. It was quaint but like a little log cabin. Our bathroom had been given fresh linen and a basket on a small table had been filled with snacks. The room was very clean and warm. Warmth was needed since we were there in the fall and it was quite cool and windy. When you arrive you will agree on a breakfast time. In the morning you will arrive and be invited into their dining room, where they will equip you with tea, coffee, hot chocolate or even chocolate milk while you wait for breakfast to be finished cooking. Steve and Jamie cook everything fresh in their kitchen. Their food is divine… and if you love it as much as I know you will, then will give you a recipe to take home at the end of your trip. As you talk about your day, the innkeepers Steve and Jamie will sit and talk with you, but never neglecting putting more delicious food on your plate and filling your drinks. I promise you this is one breakfast table you won’t get up feeling hungry from. Steve is very helpful in giving directions and giving you maps and brochures to destinations in the area. He is also good at giving you coupons to save money. The main house has a community room filled with books and movies for your watching enjoyment. There is also a small refrigerator always stocked with beverages of water and soda for the guest. We had such a pleasurable stay, I would definitely recommend Apple Bin Inn if you are going to Lancaster for business or for pleasure, Steve and Jamie will treat you right!

What can I say about this wonderful B&B that hasn’t been said already? Truth is, words cannot do Apple Bin Inn the justice it deserves. We stayed at Apple Bin Inn for two days and three nights to celebrate our three year anniversary, and I must say that Steve and Jamie contributed to our anniversary being a memorable one. The house is just absolutely breathtaking, and both Steve and Jamie were friendly, attentive, and overall great hosts during our stay. Me and my husband equally felt so comfortable being in their home, and our biggest regret was only booking for three days and two nights! Our room(the Gala) was amazing and clean!!! The quilt laid on our bed was personally hand stitched by Jamie’s grandmother, and it was just lovely. Breakfast? More like a morning feast filled with both yummy appetizers and main courses. When my husband requested a receipt of one of Jamie’s dishes to make and share with the firefighters at his firehouse, Steve within minutes produced a printout copy in hand! Our last evening there, we decided to head out to have a nice romantic dinner, and wanted to continue the night with bottled wine previously purchased at a local winery. We asked if we could use some glasses and a bottle open when we returned. Upon returning to the Apple Bin Inn, Steve had set out a tray with not only glasses and a bottle opener, but also fresh fruit for us to share. Talk about romantic!!! Steve and Jamie were also willing to accommodate us and our request(e.g., borrow lawn chairs to attend a local outside concert), and were both extremely informative about great sites and restaurants to visit. The final bonus were their two adorable and friendly cats! Talk about«meet and greet»! Not only were we welcomed by Steve and Jamie, but also by the house cats as well! On our three hour ride back into NYC, all me and my husband could talk about is when we would be able to return! We had such an amazing and pleasant experience, and look forward to our revisit at the Apple Bin Inn. Jenny and Julio Padilla Brooklyn, NY

We spent our 1st wedding anniversary here and it was absolutely wonderful! The innkeepers are really warm and welcoming. We loved that there were bookshelves in our room stocked with books as well as a DVD collection downstairs to borrow from. They had some snacks in our room as well and you could grab water and soda from a small fridge downstairs. The innkeepers live in the house but in a separate section, so you don’t feel like you are walking through their living area every time you come and go. The room itself was perfect(we stayed in the Gala) — nicely decorated and not too kitchy like many B&Bs. The pictures really do not do these rooms justice. The bed was really comfortable and they had an extra blanket in case it got cold. We felt right at home! Breakfast was delicious, too. I loved that they went through the trouble to match the china in the morning. They paid a lot of attention to detail and you can tell they really care! The Inn is located a 5 – 10 minute drive south of Lancaster(straight shot). This is the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in — so accomodating and comfortable! We would have loved to stay longer because it was so relaxing!

THEAPPLEBININNIS A GOLDEN&REDDELICIOUS, GALATREAT… A welcoming Bed & Breakfast Inn, hosted by Steve and Jamie. Their accommodations were hospitable, warm and friendly. Steve has his pulse on your needs and is available all the. They have an extensive list of restaurants, tours, other area/tourist attractions, DVDs and Lancaster pleasures for any visitor to experience — and they are both extremely knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were always replenished with snacks, bottled water and other goodies. The breakfasts were plentiful; we had fruit(berries), waffles, potato omelets and Lancaster bacon or ham. Very tasty — but allot. If we have one complaint, the bathroom towels had an unusual odor. The Apple Bin is a great place to stay in the area for a ‘Lancaster County’ experience. On our rating scale of «A» to «F» the Apply Bin gets — a «B+». Go for it!
