Americas Best Value Inn & Suites- Lancaster

Worst Hotel/​Motel/​Inn ever. We unfortunately had to stay here for a Soccer Tournament. When I booked my room over the phone everything was fine. I received a confirmation email with a grand total of $ 103.55 but when I checked in, they Charged me $ 113.36. I didn’t realize the discrepancy right away however, I did in the Hotel room and when I asked at check out about the $ 10 overcharge, they had no idea why. They said they would have to call me later with an answer. I had also asked them at check out for an additional discount due to us being woken up to a water leak in the bathroom from the bathtub above us. I didn’t get a phone call back that day with an answer about my $ 10 overcharge refund or the discount I asked for so I called the next morning to get an update and they said they refunded me $ 20 for the inconvenience. I have not seen it on my bank account yet however.
Besides the ceiling leaking in the bathroom, our room was old and gross. Very old interior, there were some holes in the sheets and it smelled bad. The complimentary breakfast was also less than/​laughable. I would have rather not eaten breakfast.
You can hear the coaster across the road and the liquor store next to the Motel has the cashier protected fully by bullet proof glass. Next time I will book my room earlier and pay a little extra for a better place to stay. I will never stay here again and never recommend this place to our San Diego Soccer Community.

Clean, cosy, stylish. When you travel a lot you pay attention to all niceties: silent heater, power plugs near the bed, fridge in a bathroom, where it won’t disturb you all night. Really the best in its class!

We just spent 4 relaxing, quiet days here and are very happy. Nice pool nice grounds great staff. The breakfast was normal stuff but good. The price was not jacked up for the holiday. We would stay again without hesitation. This was much better than average.

Although staff was somewhat pleasant the rooms were not too clean… roaches in some of our rooms, refrigerators in bathroom yucky, breakfast not too great of a selection.

We were welcomed, even though we didn’t check in until 4 in the morning. Man at desk was very nice. Stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed it. Nice big room with a living room area, microwave, coffeemaker and fridge. Nice swimming pool and spa. All at a great price.

Stayed here a couple weekends ago for a softball tournament and a great experience. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Property was very clean and we’ll maintained. And staff was very friendly! Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Lancaster.

For the price this place was perfect! Staff was nice, the place itself looks very pleasant, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The only issue I had was that the people staying in the rooms nearby were so loud. Some kids kept yelling/​running up the stairs and some woman was talking and laughing so loud next to our window until 3 am. Other than that my stay here was great! I will definitely be staying here during my trips.

Stayed here with daughters softball team for state games. Had no choice as no other hotels where available. Got a room another team member checked out of because of roaches and smoke! Still smoke smell buT, the sprayed bug spray so we don’t have the roaches (yet). YUCK!!! Staff sent maintenance man who lied to my face about security and smoke. I had to leaVe windows open for relief from smoke smell. My kids wouldn’t take a shower because the prior teammates told them about roaches! YUCK! Carpet was sticky… I made kids where their flip flops or socks whole time! If you can find something else please do!!!

Very nice staff. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The only thing I would recommend that would make this a five star rating is to steam clean the carpets .
Other than that the place was quiet and aesthetically pleasing.

Stayed here with wife. This place is clean and quiet. Staff is great, they provide free breakfast. I checked into economy room, it’s a nice size room had couch microwave and coder maker. Definitely worth the money very reasonably priced. Will stay here again soon.

My parents stayed here while they visited us and will be back next weekend. So happy to find a nice place for them :)

I did some research on this motel before hand. Yes, It’s an older place, but it was very nice and worked out great since I was passing through the area. Without knowing the bad areas of Lancaster/​Palmdale, this place seemed very out of the beaten path and isolated in it’s own little bubble. You drive to the far back and so you never hear road traffic. The gentlemen at the front desk was very nice during check-​in and check-​out. The room is older, but kept up and clean. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the nice flat panel TV. The breakfast had a decent selection of basics. The price was great. Overall, I will definitely use this motel again when I am in the area.

I’m leaving another review, only reason is because they had my review removed from trip-​advisor, just shows what kind of place it truly is …

It was very nice and clean. Very nice office staff.
My wife and I went on a day trip and decided to give this place a shot. It was a nice surprise.
