Morse Park

Overall it’s an okay pool place if you’re on a budget or just want to go swimming for a little.
Pros:
–Cheap ($ 4 per person)
–Large pool (10ft and pretty big)
–Waterslide
–Water isn’t too cold (but a bit chilly
–Not too crowded
Cons:
–Annoying 7 year olds kept jumping in and end up getting on top of you like it’s a porn video if you don’t get out of the way
–Dead ladybugs all over the pool
–Lifeguards allow vile kids to splash random innocent people and jump in constantly but you can’t do a frontflip or a backflip (WTF!!!)
–The pool was polluted with a stench of poop (seriously? Teach your kid to wipe themselves better -.-)
It’s pretty good for $ 16 for 4 people considering water world and elitch gardens are like $ 300. Just go to Disneyland while you’re at it -.-

Morse Park is very nice. There are baseball diamonds, a field for volleyball, and an outdoor pool, to name a few of the amenities here. The pool is nice. They took out the diving board, which is too bad. There is a nice water slide, although I have not been on it.
According to the City of Lakewood website, there are two playgrounds. Since our visit was not planned, I was not aware of a second playground. We visited the one near the pool, which is kind of small. What you see in the picture is mostly what you get, with two swings behind it which are not pictured. We will be back to visit the other playground at some point, and I will update my review accordingly.
