Mail Masters

I walked in thinking I could mail a couple packages on the way home (via USPS). When the owner rang me up, I was shocked at the EXTRAORDINARILY expensive prices. I asked «are those rates standard?» He said yes. I paid, then walked out and still felt completely ripped off. So I walked back in and asked again if he was sure they were standard rates. He said yes and seemed to be skirting around the issue. So then I said «I don’t think it could be right, can I just get my packages back?» He gave them back (he had not labeled them yet and they were still sitting on the back counter… untouched). When he was voiding my fee, he said «This is a private business, I have to make a profit somehow.» Which then made sense why it was so expensive. I would only use this place if it were some sort of crazy emergency… they also mail things FEDEX and UPS, which I’m sure is way more expensive than usual. I can’t really fathom 1) thinking that was a smart business to purchase and 2) ever going there again.
