Madigan Motel is the nastiest, dirtiest, most disturbing place on earth. Price looked great however the bed bugs and meth addicts in the motel place was just too much. Smelly, dirty, unprofessional people, just horrible sums everything up.

Holy. Fucking. Shit. $ 55 for a two queen room. We were desperate travelers headed south from Vancouver, seeking our native Californian lands. This place, while deceptively cute on the outside, is basically a thousand different kinds of shady. I felt good about it when I had heard the price. We were only looking for a place to crash for a night. By the time we paid, it was too late. Our first red flag was when I parked outside of our room and my friend got propositioned by someone trying to give us drugs(pot and ‘other’ stuff) to give them a lift. Nope nope nope. We paid a $ 5 deposit for the keys and the remote. We were instructed that there were 3 channels– a movie channel, tv or hbo or something, and an ‘adult’ channel. Guess what the only working channel was. The room itself was really gross. It reeked of cigarettes and disinfectant. There were cigarette burns on the sheets, stains on the carpet, and huge patches of gouged walls that had been drywalled over. The pillows had a disturbingly yellow tint. The bed was broken and had a giant dip in the center. Whatever. I give up. I’m here already. The open wifi’s signal strength was useless. Luxuries. But it just stank. It was gross. The room’s previous visitors had left a bra, a t-shirt, and panties in one of the gnarly looking drawers. The desk itself at the front of the motel was actually pretty nice in an old-school way. There was a young woman working the counter there who seemed very kind(or very amused about how me and my friend looked like lesbians even though we’re platonic). Front desk worker herself was kinda cute. She should probably get the fuck out of that place the first chance she gets, imo. What a shithole. Oh, I forgot– the front had creepy Born Again Christian pamplets and signs about how it was a crime-free zero tolerance zone. Just don’t stay here. Find somewhere else and pay the same amount for a more pleasant experience. I don’t know what short circuited in my exhaustion-addled brain.
