Just like any other in-n-out I’ve been to there was a line but it moved along well. Our burgers and fries were perfect and everyone was very friendly. I was amazed on how they were cranking out all that food from that tiny building.

1⁄5 Eek! Methinks not. I was never a die hard In-N-Out fan. In high school, I used to frequent this place a few times a month. Back then, I had just gotten my driver’s license, and tended to stay within a 5 – 10 radius of my home. In other words, my palate and I didn’t get out much. In-N-Out was reigned a supreme due to lack of competition. Now, to present day, I can objectively attest that this place is overrated. Best burger in California, my ass. I’ve been to In-N-Out three times in the four years since I have graduated high school, once at the Long Beach Town Center, a branch in Northern California en route to San Francisco, and just last night at the Lakewood branch. I pulled up at around 11:55 last night for a single order of fries. The total came to $ 1.85, if my memory serves correct. The fries were in my hand before she swiped my card. The fries were indubitably overcooked to the point where the potatoes were rendered crunchy. Just to add insult to injury, were markedly bland, without a hint of salt or seasoning. It felt as if I were eating unseasoned potato chips, as opposed to french fries. At the bottom of bag, I found a little red and white salt packet, as if eating a mouth full of salt would have remedied the situation. Any experienced cook knows the merit of salting/seasoning your fries both before AND after frying. Really confused and disappointed.

I don’t know what happened to this place but it seems like lately this In-N-Out is lacking on their customer service. Every time I come here I have to wait at least half an hour for my food. If you want to have a better customer experience do yourself a favor and go through the drive through. Wait time is god awful.

Pulled up to In n out with a complicated order and Greg was awesome! Super patient, friendly and funny. Our order came out quickly and tasted delicious as usual! Will definitely drive to this location when I’m in long beach. Thanks again Greg!

This is the place I go when out late in the am. Although I do have to say that other in n outs taste wayyyy better than this one. I would recommend going to the one in long beach town center or Cerritos. But this one is the closest to me so this is the one I stick too.

This place need employees to be more friendly. I say«Thank you» to each person that help me. I got no friendly«you welcome back».? What happen to the friendly and upbeat employees??? I ask for extra sauce. I say Thank You again. And still no You Welcome. One customer down the drain for this place. If they keep this rudeness up? This place might not have much customers coming to this place. Thank you

Expect 25+ minutes of waiting just to realize they forgot about you or your order, then also gave it wrong.

Trying to get lunch at the nearest in and out to my place. I expect to always wait a bit because everybody likes in and out, but today wasn’t even remotely as busy as it usually is. The cars in the drive through we’re moving at a snails pace so I decided to park and walk up and order. Only 2 people in line in front and one person waiting on a small order took almost 10min just to get my order in and the wait for my food was almost double that and that’s a single order. It took 15min to get my order again not many people in drive through and very few people waking up and placing orders. This by far is the slowest in and out I’ve been to and I’ve been to at least 8 different locations. Must have been a bad day for them but not sure going to give them another shot. The 2 stars is because at least the food is always consistent.

This California-born fast food chain has great burgers, fries and shakes. Definitely top quality for a fast food joint. Love the fact that it’s consistently good each time I eat there. If you’re a potato lover then you’ll fall in love with their fries being that they taste just like it. You can custom make your burger just the way you like it, bunless, extra grilled onion cheese or add extra patties. If you are traveling to California then this is a pit stop you’ll want to make. Lines are always long but it’s worth the wait.

Amazing food and really good prices. But I suggest to go through the drive thru. They take care of the drive first. If your waiting in line good luck getting your order taken. I almost waiting a hour and a half for one burger. The food maybe worth it but if your dead hunger. … Come later at night when its faster. Don’t go during lunch rush or peak times.

I like in n out for the very reason that they are consistent with every one you go to. This one is no different. Food is great and wait times are typical for an in n out. Just wish they had an actual indoor dining area as well.

Never thought I’d say this since I’m not really crazy about burgers. I finished a whole double double all by myself with a side of animal fries. Yahhh. What’s better than one patty with cheese? TWOPATTIESWITHCHEESE! Hahahahahahaha.

Swear by this place, I buy the shirts. The food tonight was horrible and I think has been on the decline. Person who took my order was barely there. Prices have been going up. 20 minute wait, which used to be shorter. Animal fries were the weirdest mix of cold and mushy with random bits of hard crunch. I almost thought they forgot my grilled onions. Burger looked like it has downsized and the patty was tiny. Mostly lettuce and a small bun, there was little flavor, barely any grilled onions as well. Im sad to admit I actually still feel hungry. I dont know what happened to this place, it seems like it used to be so much better. Ill be back, but im feeling more hesitant each time.

Why hasn’t Unilocal allowed reviewers to give negative stars yet? I need that option. I haven’t been to In-N-Out in so long because the line takes forever but today I decided I wanted a burger, bad idea. It took longer for me to wait in the line than to eat the food. My animal style fries were cold and hard! There was hardly any grilled onions and the cheese wasn’t even melted. My animal style burger had no flavor and the patty was about as thin as a piece of paper. I felt like I was only eating bread and veggies, so much lettuce and bread, hardly any meat or grilled onions. I just finished my meal and I am still hungry. In-N-Out might be cheap but they’ve also cheapened the quality and quantity of their food BIGTIME. I won’t be back.

Being a Californian, we get to brag about how lucky we are to have In-N-Out while other states are deprived of it. All tourists have to try In-N-Out at least once when they visit and they go back home and crave it all the time. That was how I was when I moved to Chicago for school; I dreamt of the day where I could go home and gobble down a burger and animal style fries. That day finally came when I flew home for the summer break. My parents have never had In-N-Out so I decided to grab some for us for lunch. I arrived at this In-N-Out location around 2PM on a weekday and it was still pretty crowded. I think it took about 20 minutes for me to get my food. I got 2 hamburgers, a double double, and animal style fries for my parents and I, and it came out to about $ 13. Animal style anything just means cheese & grilled onions on your fries/burgers. It is yummy but way unhealthy so on do it for your cheat meals. What I like about In-N-Out is that you can tell it’s pretty high quality fast food and the burgers aren’t soggy or flat when you get them, unlike other fast food places.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again IN N OUT is hands down the best burger around. Haven’t been to an in n out where I didn’t enjoy my burger(KNOCKONWOOD) I think it’s due to them always being so consistent with the quality and ingredients. We all know their ingredients are fresh and never frozen and their fries are made from real potatoes. My go to is the CHEESEBURGER with regular onions, extra toasted bread, and extra lettuce and an order of FRENCHFRIES. I don’t drink soda or juice so I normally just get a cup of water, or an occasional NEAPOLITANSHAKE. In my opinion, This meal isn’t complete without some extra spread and some banana peppers to go with my fries. Try it, it’ll change your life. This location is always busy but they move fast so don’t worry. If you go through the drive thru Try to stay to left, it may look like a longer line but for some reason it always moves faster than the drive thru line on the right. If you’re dining in, there isn’t any seating inside the restaurant only seating available outside. Parking is available in their private parking lot but its pretty tiny and can get crowded cause of all the drive thru-ers, So I suggest parking on the street for easy in and outs. Friendly and upbeat staff that always gets my order right. I’ll be returning soon of course.
