Stopped here last night to get some money from the ATM. I needed the $ 20 broken so I bought a bag of jerky. The clerk handed me my change and in it was a $ 10.
I asked if I could get 2 $ 5s for the $ 10 and the guy flipped out. Literally started yelling and screaming that he only has 2 $ 5s and he’s not a bank and that in should go to my bank if I need change! It was 9pm on a Friday night! So I told the guy the whole reason I was buying this crap was so I could get change and if he didn’t give me the change I needed I wanted a refund so I can go elsewhere to get the change I need. Guy looks at me like I killed his dog! And again starts yelling and screaming that he’s not a bank. So after some back and forth I finally got the change.
Unbelievable. Never seen anything like it. Don’t know his name but he was an older Asian guy. If anyone from Diamond Shamrock is reading this, that guy needs to go!
I will never waste my $$ at this pile of trash gas station again.

Paid $ 7.00 for a car wash with my gas purchase. Drove into the car wash and discovered the high pressure wash was barely dispensing a trickle of water. Obviously wasn’t getting my vehicle clean. Asked the clerk for a refund, he said he could only refund $ 5.00 maximum.
I asked if I could have a new car wash code to return later in the week when the car wash had been repaired. Clerk was argumentative and angry telling me he couldn’t help me and told me I didn’t understand. He told me only the manager could help me tomorrow. He then asked why I would want a new code if the car wash was broken. I explained several times that I live nearby and would like to use the car wash later in the same week. He grabbed my receipt from me and wrote «no refund free car wash» on it.
Not only was the employee rude, but the car wash is way overpriced since I’ve learned the air driers were removed because they are too noisy for the neighborhood. Avoid this car wash (and the employee if at all possible).
The car wash at Mississippi and Alameda is cheaper and better quality. Employees are extremely friendly and helpful. Next time I’ll take an extra 2 minutes to drive a little further. AVOID this car wash and employee. This gas station has gone down hill in a hurry since it became a Valero.
