I’ll have to say imo that this is the best pizza Denver has to offer. I usually order from here once a week and get the meat supreme pizza on Fridays. There are many other pizza restaurants that are in my area that would be more convenient to get pizza from but I go out of my way every time to get Guido’s Pizza. Staff are friendly and service is great!!! 5 stars!

See my comments under ‘check in’. I’ll give this place another try, hoping my experience is not the norm.

The place might not be so bad if it wasn’t so filthy. A few weeks ago we ordered there and dude in an apron was outside puffing on a smoke as we walked in. After we ordered he walked in, didn’t wash his hands, and started making our pie. Great. This Friday my wife and I stopped at the beer store next door first before picking up our order. Low and behold, two Guidos employees were buying booze and asked it to be placed in a paper bag. Once inside the restaurant the lady buying the booze took my payment. Guess she wasn’t off work just yet. Pizza was bland(its usually pretty good) like the dough wasn’t salted. Maybe the prep cooks were drunk too. Never again.

this place was so so. what really made me mad is the fat cook on saturday parked in the very first parking spot(which should be for customers) and in the handicap! no sticker or nothing. totally turned me off to the place. i would drive the extra few miles to the rock for sure!

Guido’s Pizza holds a special place in my heart. I’ve been coming here since 2006 while I went to high school at Green Mountain and I remember very clearly driving(recklessly might I add — I was a teenager and we can all agree that teenagers are all awful) to get here every Tuesday for ‘Two for One Tuesdays’. Good news is that very little has changed since! Still get ginormous slices for $ 2.25(additional toppings is $.50). Came here with my brother and got 4 slices total and even went out on a limb and ordered the dessert calzone all for less than $ 20! Little bit about the food. The crust is thin and crispy which I love when you consider just about how big each slice is. Cheese is just enough and pineapple(which is what I always get) is more than abundant! It’s the perfect proportioning in my opinion. As for the dessert calzone… My god. Talk about RICH! the components of the dessert calzone include cream cheese, mandarin oranges, berries and then to top it all of drizzles with a magical honey/cinnamon sauce… Ummm… Yeah. In other words its delicious! If you’re down to just have a casual, easy on the wallet, filling dinner and happen to be craving some pizza– this is a must!

This was the first visit to this establishment and the pizza was average. I had the guidos white pizza and while I did enjoy it, it was extremely greasy, to the point of leaking through the pizza box on my car seat. I did have the dessert calzone and that was quite good and something different than most places! The one thing that did bother me was that as I was waiting for my to-go order I watched the staff prepare someone else’s meal without gloves. While I made sure my food went from the oven to the box using utensils, the staff were handling the dine-in order without gloves or any other utensils which is the reason for my poor review. Colorado requires gloves or utensils on all ready-to-eat food items rather than bare hand contact. Food safety is extremely important and due to this I will most likely not be dining at this establishment again.

The pizza isn’t bad but we love their Gyro’s. Calzones are huge. They will not take a credit card for delivery.

One word: GREASY. I’ve never had pizza that dripped with grease until we ordered Guido’s last night. We had to use a bunch of paper towels to soak up the grease to make this pizza even slightly edible. And it was pricey! I’ll never order from here again.

Their pizza looks like Anthony’s pizza, but it doesn’t have any of the flavor. Had to add a Zap Pak seasoning packet from Little Caesar’s. The Garlic Knotz were beautiful-looking, and had a nice, airy texture, but, once again, lacked flavor. Adding salt made them better. It feels like all of Denver and its surrounding areas are on a «no salt» kick. Hey, if you’re going to be «bad»(i.e., eat unhealthy food), you’re going to want flavor, and SALT enhances that.

Pizza is just ok. Too much dough on it, but not the worst I’ve had. Fast delivery. They don’t take credit/debit cards. Cash or check only.

Guess we’ll never know. Asked for delivery to an address that is 2 miles away. By foot you could run that in shorter time than most delivery places consider reasonable(30 minutes). Instead I was told they don’t deliver here. Like I said, 2 miles away is nothing. Surely it would have been further offset by my $ 40 order I was placing. Looked at their website and nowhere do they have a delivery map to further complicate this nonsense. Lame. Lost a customer who might otherwise be very frequent.

We just moved to Genesee Park and needed to find a go to pizza place. This was the closest by far so gave them a try. Firstly, their pizzas are HUGE for the price. The first time we ordered it seemed a bit dry so just asked for extra sauce the next time. The pizza is relatively thin which I prefer and the toppings plentiful. I just wished they delivered!

Their pizzas are really good(brick fired), but they can hang their reputation on the A+ calzones!!! I like the Boss.

All I can say is wow! This used to be my favorite pizza place! Now it sucks! Tried calling from 6:50 — 7:20pm…no answer! Drove down to the grn mtn. Location. .to place my order… talked to one the owners about why no one’s answering the phone. she said«we turned off the phones» cause it was busy. They took my order and I waited. .did they offer anything for me? Nope… after taking my order… they turned on their phones! I will not come here again! I am all about service! This owner is terrible! Bye Guido’s.

I was on the hunt for some delicious pizza, pretty disappointed. Too much bread, not enough sauce or cheese. Paid $ 25 for pizza and tasteless garlic knots. The staff was rude and not very helpful. Not coming back.

This. Place… lol… I will start by saying that Guidos is really good. We enjoy it; their sandwiches, calazones, pizza, and salads are consistently tasty with big portion sizes. I am partial to their cheesesteak sandwich, my hubby likes their Gyro. The cucumber sauce on their gyro is amazing. That being said, it’s ran by several young guys who are more than nice, but quite possibly party a little too hard on occasion. Nevertheless, they often get our order wrong. When they deliver it, it’s generally missing something. They are always very apologetic, take time to get the item back at their store, and bring it back to us with a coupon that reads: «Our bad… enjoy some free cheese fries on us next time. «My husband loves their cheese fries, so we’re totally cool with this. The fact that they are so nice and eager to make it right suits us just fine. It’s reasonably priced, very tasty, and delivered in a timely manner. Just be patient with them if your order gets screwed up– they will make it right by you.

I love this place! Family run business, very friendly! The portions are HUGE! I normally get pizza or Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. The fried pickles have a great flavor(and huge portions and big slices of pickle)! I wasn’t to fond of the hot wings. But other than that everything is always good!

After seemingly exhausting all pizza places in delivery distance to my home, I found Guido’s. Typically I look for 5 star places first, then 4 star, and after reading these reviews(and being sorely disappointed with other pizza places in our area) I figured it couldn’t hurt to give them a try. Boy, was I right. This didn’t hurt. This was very, very good. The first pizza we ordered was for me and two(seemingly) hungry guys, so I ordered a Sicilian style(one size, thick crust). This is definitely a thick crust, and it was heavy and heaped with toppings. It was soggy in the middle but I understand how that happens with pizza, so I will forgive that. Plus, I drove it home instead of eating it at the location, so it had some time to sit. We barely ate half of it, and we had leftovers for days. It was great! A week or so later, I was still thinking about the thin crust NY style I saw on the table, so I made a quick Friday-night decision and ordered a 12″ cheese. It barely made it to my house — I was eating it in the car on the way! I have to say we have found our new pizza place, and I’m really excited it’s so close to my house. This is definitely my new go-to pizza place in Lakewood.
