Lemon Blossom Salon & Spa

I wanted to do something special for my mom’s birthday so I booked two pedicures at lemon blossom… never again. I had gotten a referral for this salon and was expecting a wonderful pedicure. At $ 53 I was disappointed to say the least. Two pedicure chairs in a small room with bad lightning. The nail technicians looked like they had never used a file! It was allot of little things that disappointed me. Very quick «maintenance» on my feet, quick scrub and warm towels on my feet. They put so much lotion on my feet I nearly slid out of my sandals. Descent paint job… but for the price… Not with it!

I have curly hair, in the middle of a too short cut the stylist claimed «I’m not sure what to do with the top». Yikes! Then could not blow it straight, stated she didn’t think it could work. I will never return, plus they’re very expensive. Also while I was waiting for my color to set I watched the ants along the dirty baseboard, yuk!

On the other hand I wasn’t impressed by a salon who claims they are better than average and therefore charges above average. $ 108 for a manicure and pedicure plus tip, in a broken massage chair and someone else’s lipstick impression on my glass. I think if you say you are upscale you better get it right the first time, or there might not be a second time.
Yes the place looks more like an upscale salon and even serves wine, but someone forgot to remind the owner and the receptionist to greet all guests in a friendly way, especially if you don’t recognize them as regulars yet and you want residual business. I inquired about a new customer discount and the question was ignored. (I took that to mean no, and they may not care what customers think.)
I personally think I’ll try another salon, one who greets all customers in a friendly way and provides full value for whatever they charge.

I am here visiting a friend and wanted to give her a facial for her birthday. We booked two here. The spa is clean and both aestheticians did an excellent job – Mine sat and talked with and discussed conditions and was very thorough in explaining each step – it was very relaxing. My skin is now clean and clear. I also felt the price point was very reasonable. We will definitely be going back the next time I am in town.

I live out of town and was looking for a spa in the Sarasota area where I could have a relaxing facial and massage. I randomly found Lemon Blossom and after reading some mixed reviews decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised. The salon is clean and the front desk and reception area is inviting. The front desk staff was helpful.
I had a facial with Monika. She took the time to understand my skin and after have a thorough consultation, she selected what I needed for my skin and began the facial which was amazing. She not only cared about my skin but also informed me on how being properly hydrated would help improve it. It was one of my best facials ever.
I then had a massage with Jessica. I was recovering from a broken leg and ankle and informed her to be careful of that area. She asked questions about it so that she understood what was involved. She not only was careful but also spent extra time massaging that leg and foot. She did talk throughout the entire massage which at first bothered me but after speaking to her a few minutes, I quickly realized she really cares about her clients and getting to know them and their bodies so her talking wasn’t an issue. Her massage was perfect and so relaxing, one of my best massages I’ve ever had.
Both ladies were very professional and knowledgeable. I enjoyed my spa day at Lemon Blossom and will be returning when I am in town again.

Just had my hair done by Nancy Manzik and it looks amazing! So glad I finally found a great hairdresser in this area.

Get Odalys for a pedicure. I’ve had lots of them in lots of places and this is the best I’ve ever had. She is amazing!!! My feet are baby smooth. Awesome!
