Very dissapointed, wont eat anymore Pterrys, veggie burger was almost frozen, hard as a piece of wood, lemonade tasted like a school sugary drink, over 40gr of sugar. Waste of $ 10, its better to buy a frozen burger and a pack of bread and you would still have food left with better flavor.

Management handled the issue. And PTerrys has great burgers and fries for a great price.

Went back again here on the way home from my sons football game 2 weeks ago. Figured I’d update this review. They’ve gotten it right now. I suppose it was them just getting their QC standards up to par. 4 stars to offset and make it A-OK.

LOVE the Hamburgers. HATE the screwed up orders(about half the time). Don’t go often anymore AND Don’t recommend the drive-thru. Eat There, so you can get the right burger the 2nd time when they screw up the 1st ones.

Better tasting than other fast food but I’m FROM Idaho and Idaho fries??? Really? You forgot them for one. Second… ore Ida freezer fries are better. Service sucked when I pointed out their error. Booooo!!! May as well do whataburger. Two stars cause I didn’t die but my god… please try Idaho potatoes for real. Bunch of «worker bees» don’t make it right when they mess up. Rude. Won’t be back. Wendy’s is better. Now my sandwich is cold and sucks and my fries are probably spit on. That’s what happens. I’ve worked fast food. Yay. Oh and they wanted me to come in! So not only is my sandwich cold at home, I should get out of my car and come in after fighting traffic! Again!!! Also, folks were rude. Used to go there… no more. Nope. Go to Little Greek or McDonalds or Wendy’s…less punks. Ugh. I hope mgmt contacts me. It was that bad for all the prestigious lakeway has to offer. PS for mgmt, this was 9÷30÷1015. My new fave… oh yes CHAIN… is chick fil a. Why? Consistency, kindness, quality. You failed here. Big time. I’ll even look past the not being open certain days. Why? Because they are awesome. I’m soon going to write a review of them because they deserve it. Oh… and I even tried to call with no response, no I’m sorry, no nothing EVENTHOUGH I PAIDFORANENTIREMEAL!!! No. Just… don’t soil the Idaho name when your burgers are decent but your fries suck. Now your service does too. Oh hey guys… sandwich sucks cold. Thanks. *** The good news is that management was responsive to this review and hopefully these types of issues will become less and the Lakeway location can be as good as the other locations. Will definitely be giving it some time but appreciate the time taken to reply.

I really like P. Terry’s. They make a solid product and they’re arguably the best of the chains. Compared to other outlets, this one is just so-so. I’ve been by twice and the service has been on the slow side, as in ‘get out the chess board, it’s your move’ slow. This place gets 3 stars on the ‘CTJ Scale’, as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a meal here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK being seen eating here by Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus’ Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn’t have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn’t have my penultimate supper here, either.

Without a doubt the best burger you can find in this part of town — at least from a fast food perspective. P Terry’s burger style is slim patty, so you may want to order a double or two burgers(double the goodness). I like they offer a wheat bun. The menu does not offer many choices, just enough. Their fries are just OK. The cookies and shakes are good. My favorite is the standard burger on a wheat bun with bacon. The best meal you can get for under $ 5.

P. Terry’s doesn’t disappoint. This location has fabulous views, sandbox for the kids and for fast food it delivers. They take pride in their natural Angus beef and fresh cut veggies. Did I mention the double, double shake is amazing, special treat. The staff is courteous; multiple visits and always respectful. Fast, good food with views.

Easy to choose limited menu. Burgers small and rather dry. Fries kind of limpish and greasy. Not a fan of the special sauce. I’ll go if someone else wants to but I don’t go out of my way to eat there.

My first time here and I’m impressed. No frills, old school burger and fries. Choice of hamburger, chicken burger or veggie burger. All natural black angus beef. All natural chicken ground in store daily. Fresh cut Idaho Burbank potatoes cooked in canola oil. Local tomatoes. I had the burger/fries combo #1 and it was delicious. Tastes very fresh. You can taste the beef and the veggies like you made it yourself. French fries are great, but 2 people can split one order.(See pic)

My husband and I went in on Friday night around 8:30PM. There was no one else in line. There were only about 3 tables of customers inside and a couple outside. We stood there for about 10 minutes completely ignored. The workers were scurrying around back there preparing shakes, cooking burgers, tending to the drive up window, handing off orders, etc., looking at us every once in awhile. Not one person ever said hello, or said we’ll be right with you, or sorry for the wait, or any other syllable of a word at all in our direction. We thought surely eventually someone would say something to us since we made contact with a couple of them so we know they did indeed see us standing there. At first it’s just kind of odd, then it becomes full-on bizarre. After that it’s just outrageous and unacceptable. We left, never to return again. I doubt the employees cared one bit. Not cool.

This is a great place for a burger. The outdoor seating is a plus as the view is very pleasant. Fries are slightly greasy but palatable. The burger is a homerun. Excellent service and very clean location. Great work…

The Lakeway P. Terry’s is set back from 620 a bit, so you might miss it if you’re not looking for it. I noticed it one day when I was stuck in one of the traffic jams for which Lakeway has become infamous. If you’re not familiar with P. Terry’s, it’s a semi-typical American menu with burgers, chicken sandwiches, and veggie burgers, fries, shakes and the like, except that the ingredients are better, and the prices are decent. The Angus beef they serve is hormone-free, as is the chicken. The veggie burger patties are made in-house and(yay!) are made from actual veggies and grains and not soy! The fries are cut from whole potatoes with the skin on, and should be good in theory, but tend to be greasy and over-cooked, sadly. I probably didn’t need to eat those, anyway. My favorite offerings are the milkshakes, which come in the typical flavors but also seasonal flavors, like the current one: Peach. That peach milkshake has been calling my name each time I’m driving by lately, and is probably responsible for a couple of extra pounds I need to walk off. Second favorite drink here is the fresh lemonade. Why order soda when they have real lemonade? The staff here has always been super friendly and the service is relatively quick. The line isn’t usually as long as with the Austin locations. So if you’re stuck in the S. 620 crawl and want to grab lunch or dinner on the way home, this is a good place to duck in.

This review is solely about the fries. Everything else on the menu is the same throughout the rest of the chain. Awesome burgers! Usually awesome fries, but this one, throughout the years, fails horribly on their fries. I wouldn’t normally go out of my way to write a review about silly fries, but these are just bad. They are all crunchy as a rock. It’s just sad.

I LOVE P. Terry’s! Started eating at the N. Lamar location about 5 years ago… but it was quite a drive. This location new Lakeway is on my way to Pace Bend Park where I love to go camping. That means lunch at P. Terry’s on the way and lunch on the way back. P. Terry’s understands something about families. Every dine-in location we’ve visited has a sand pit which means a happy kid and a long/relaxed meal for two tired parents. The location here is absolutely stunning with the architecture and views. Food is ALWAYS fresh and exactly what I expected… love the consistency! Thanks P. Terry’s… let me know when you open a dine-in location a little further north than the 183/Oak Knoll drive-thru!

They forgot my fries one time I came in after a super bad day and I was so sad, haha. So I texted the number on the side of my bag asking for feedback and after a few texts, they fixed it up and I got free fries on my next visit! I was super happy. Awesome customer service, everyone is always super nice when I go in, and the food is always delicious. Thank you to the Manager and staff at P Terry’s!

I eat here pretty frequently. To my understanding the burgers here are made with higher quality ingredients than other fast food places and I believe it because they taste better too. They have also never screwed up my order which is impressive.

The location over looks a pretty nice view of Austin. On a nice windy day(not sure how often this occurs) the environment is perfect. The inside of the restaurant isn’t too big, during a busy Saturday there might not be enough seats inside the restaurant. Good thing is there are quite a number of seats outside the restaurant in a covered area. The burgers are a pretty good and priced pretty well and I hear the milkshakes are pretty great. The service was great and friendly. The fries here are alright. Not the most amazing, but not bad overall. Extra Bonus: This place is pretty good for kids, lots of kids come here. There is even a sandbox in the back!
