I called this company to do a stereo installation (Denon) … their technician came out and told us that the issue was no problem whatsoever and that he would get back to me with an estimate. Well, it has been approximately two weeks since his initial visit. NO CALLS … NOTHING. So, I tried calling him on numerous occasions … lies lies and more lies about when they would do the job. Then I called their company directly and guess what? No one answered the phone on numerous occasions. Then, finally, a lady answered. She said that they ‘had a meeting’ about my work and they couldn’t do it. HOWEVER, they had another company that they would recommend to do the work — and that she would call me back before the end of the day. NOTHING, no call just another lie. This company apparently build their reputation on their inability to tell the truth. They do nothing but make excuses and tell lies. I wouldn’t trust them to install a light bulb let alone perform the work here in my home. I don’t like leaving negative reviews; however, if ever a company deserved one, it is this so-​called audio video automation facility. BEWARE! If you trust them, you will be disappointed with the outcome of the work. That I can be positive of. Simply based upon their dishonesty and reckless disregard for a person who was attempting to utilize their services.

I am never so thrilled to write a review for a company. It seems like the days of helping people out are gone and done and then something like this happens. I called to make an appointment for a problem with our home theater system and after explaining my problem, the technician Paul thought it was something he could walk me through over the phone– which he did. The problem was fixed, I offered my credit card and he said that it was going to be free of charge.

We used these guys to fix some things that another company spent six hours (@ $ 85/​hour) screwing up. Paul and Joe are super to work with and fixed everything to our satisfaction — and even a few things we didn’t expect, or know about — in just two hours. Very professional, extremely competent and would highly recommend them for AV and/​or home theater work.

I have now used Atlas AV twice, both for fixing an older AV system and for installing an entire new AV Surround Sound Home entertainment system. Both time the guys were professional, more than fairly priced and graciously patient in meeting my demanding requirements.
Will use no one other than Atlas AV ever again.

I hired Atlas to install Apple TV. $ 2,300 later, no Apple TV. You would think that a professional would have realized when they came to look at my equipment, it would not support the Apple TV. Not so with this company. They came out to install the Apple TV and at that time I was told my receiver was outdated and would not work with the Apple TV. If I could do it all over, I would have asked them to leave at that moment. Unfortunately, I had them install a new receiver. Then I was told I needed to move my internet connection from my kitchen to my equipment closet. I had Time Warner come out and move the connection. Atlas came back out and told me that they could not install the Apple TV because my TV would not support it. Now they are telling me that my TV is outdated. It is very possible that my TV is outdated but they should have told me the first time or even the second or even the third time they came out to my house. I decided to stop the torture at that time and did not let them install a new TV. I also purchased and had them install 2 blu-​ray players. The master remote was not programed correctly so I can’t even use the blu-​ray player in my living room. I would go ahead and use the remote that came with the player but my equipment room is down the hall from the TV so I can’t see the TV in order to use the controller. It takes two people in order to use it. By the way, they left my equipment room a mess. Wires everywhere! After months of frustration with Atlas, if I could have put no stars I would have.

Reasonably priced, very professional installation, very knowledgeable and cleaned up after the project is done.
I’m already thinking of new AV projects and when I do decide to start them, Atlas AV will be my choice.

Atlas AV ROCKS! I own a business in the Bee Cave area and have contracted many different companies in the past to help keep my business running. These guys totally exceeded my expectations. They were on time, performed the job efficiently, were very friendly, communicated with me step by step as they were installing, delivered high quality workmanship, and didn’t leave me with a mess to clean up after they left. The best part is that their rates were very reasonable compared to others. I plan on utilizing their services for all of my future AV projects. Thanks Atlas. Keep up the good work!

After moving to a new home and needing to set-​up a new home theater system, I was recently referred to Atlas AV through a family member. I needed to mount a flat panel on the wall and run cabling through the wall as well. Paul came by and thoroughly explained all my options, worked within my budget and gave me some ideas to think about in the future. Paul also carries various lines of audio equipment so I decided to replace my 10 year old audio equipment as well. We ordered the equipment and a week later the guys installed my system. I have to admit that I am extremely impressed. Their installation crew is top notch and cleaned up after themselves. The installation looks immaculate and I couldn’t be happier. There was one small hiccup with the receiver being defective but Paul quickly ordered a replacement and had it re-​installed 2 days later. The faulty equipment wasn’t their fault so I’m not going to ding Atlas AV for that. They quickly got the problem resolved so that showed me they know how to handle issues well. If you’re looking for any home A/​V equipment, you need to do yourself a favor and call the guys at Atlas AV. They had really good prices and were extremely easy to work with. I already have plans to implement the lighting ideas Paul talked about in the future. Good job guys! I’ll definitely be calling you back!
