Good, average C. B with timely seating, prompt service and food at temperature delivered accurately. Nothing fancy but the menu executed well for what it was. The checkout was a bit draggy… especially with my surfing the candy selection…

Extremely underwhelming. The biscuits and gravy were clearly out of the box the gravy still taste like powder and had no flavor whatsoever. The service was good and the only reason I gave it 2 stars. My wife had there shrimp basket(it’s a promo) and it was underwhelming, as well their cornbread was soggy and I think I could have ring the butter out. I don’t expect much from chain restaurants but this on left me wanting some flavor and decent food. The upside it was cheap!

Love the feel of this place, especially the wood burning fire, everything makes you feel so cozy! They décor is cute and they have board games to play which is really fun. My family and I have been eating here for 10+ years. The food is very delicious and extremely reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of food. I also love that they often change their menu. Don’t be surprised if you have to wait 20 minutes or so for breakfast on a weekend(depending on party size), it’s a very popular place! But they have a great shop with tons of things to look at to keep you entertained while you wait. My only issue would be the older hostess with short gray hair, she is NOT friendly or welcoming at all. All the other staff I have encountered are very friendly and accommodating. We will continue to return over and over again!

One of my favorite places. Store is fun to shop before/after eating. Fireplace is my daughters favorite thing. Food is basic but always good and consistenly good.

We were here and eventually had to leave without eating! We had a rather longish wait for seating, though we expected that. Once seated, it took a long time for someone to remember to take our drink orders. When we saw tables near us get seated, get drink orders, drinks, and food orders we we ever more frustrated. We asked a few times and the wait staff said they would send out our waiter. Turns out, our table wasn’t assigned so we asked one of the staff if they would please be our waiter. By that time we had been seated for nearly 45 minutes. We order and waited another 45 minutes, no food. With the wait to seat we had been there two hours and had one round of beverage service. We sent out a search party for a manager and finally found one by walking into the kitchen. Funny how that works. The manager found his way to our table, made a few rediculas excuses. We explained that is point we were going to Perkins, we felt we would have better luck there. We had a very nice mid afternoon luck with quick and immediate service. The manager even stopped by on her own and asked how everything was. Very pleasant indeed. We do not go to Cracker Barrel any more, I can see why there are not very many of the open.

Just ok! I know it’s a chain, so I wasn’t expecting a whole lot. The chicken and the corn muffins were very dry! The Mac and cheese tasted like it was reheated over and over again. The gravy is pretty good, and the hash brown casserole is addicting. The service is hit or miss. Overall, just ok!

The Cracker Barrel has some decent grub. I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and fresh apple slices which were all satisfactory. But what really makes this place shine is the atmosphere. I love that you can play checkers while you wait for the food and the store is cute. The restaurant feels sort of like eating at home. Great atmosphere.

My mom’s favorite store. I only tag along when she comes to visit. The store is obviously marked up 50% or more on retail. They have some good Clearance deals. They need a dressing room, it feels awkward bringing a shirt into a bathroom stall to try it on. Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George brought a book to read in the bathroom and it was flagged. The store is so cluttered. I feel so sorry for the Men whose wives bring them into this glorified gift shop. It must be love. Mine wouldn’t be caught dead shopping here. The store is connected to their restaurant and I believe this is the only Minnesota store. You can find Switzers Cherry licorice here which I like. Country music blaring as you shop. Helpful and nice staff.

I love there breakfast I always get the same thing Western omelet w/mushrooms and hash browns casserole so so good, and side of sausage patties never had any patties that tasted like them before. I also get the biscuits and gravy very good. I have had better biscuits but still good. I have had their dinner I was not a fan of what I got because it was bland. I defiantly would go back and order something else.

My friends had come here previously and told me about the amazing ribs they tried here so this time me and 2 other people came to try this place out. I was first disappointed by the fact that the menu had changed and no longer had the ribs that I came to try. But if you are a fan of breakfast food all day long, they did have both the breakfast menu and lunch/dinner menu available. I ended up ordering apple raspberry iced tea and salmon patties instead. While waiting for the food, I enjoyed playing some checkers with a friend. There were other board games available so it was not boring at all while waiting for the food. The iced tea was great and who can complain when they give you free refills! :) The salmon patties were alright as well but it wasn’t the most amazing food I have had. They also gave us cornbread and biscuits. My friends ordered steak and potroast, which they said tasted good. I will add that the salad that came with the steak was amazing. The lettuce was crisp and fresh with lots of other condiments. I would definitely like to come back for the ribs when they come back on the special menu to see if this restaurant is worth coming for.

Ham slice was overcooked and super salty. Grits were tasteless. Gravy was metallic tasting

Super BUSY on a Sunday morning! The wait was about 45 minutes, I ordered the Chicken Dumplings which was literally water and dough with some chicken pieces. Super bland. I was pretty disappointed. As for my chicken rice soup that was a bit disappointing too, pretty salty! My side order of bacon was not that great either, the bacon was soft and not at all crispy. A return for breakfast joint, I’d say probably not.

I’ll start off by saying that I’m not actually a fan of most of their food. It seems all «homemade» and stuff, but I get the feeling that it comes out of a freezer and bags. I do like fried okra, and I don’t really know of anywhere else that has it. But where they really shine(at least in my opinion) are the pancakes. I don’t know what it is about them but I sure do like them. The edges get kind of crispy, and the middles are nice and fluffy and do a great job of soaking up the syrup. So food wise, probably a two star place. Unless you get pancakes…

It’s what I expected… I am from NC so this place was the first since I left NC7 years ago. I actually go for the vegetables. I miss my fried okra, green beans and mashed potatoes. They had fast service for Memorial day. The parking lot can be a challenge because this restaurant does attract an older age group. So be aware of your other drivers and be patient.

Always a fan of any Cracker Barrel! The only negative is when it is busy, it is so loud, it is hard to hear others at the table.

This is my favorite restaurant ever. Meatloaf is my favorite and everything is always good. Waiters and waitresses are super friendly and the owner is too. The store is great and has old fashioned candy our kids love. Cute clothing, seasonal items, house stuff, candles, toys etc… I love it. Shop while waiting for your food… It doesn’t get any better than that!

One of our families favorite spots to stop in this area. Probably because of the mind game challenge on the tables but the home cookin as well. Generally fast service even on busy days. I don’t think we have ever waited longer then 20minutes at this hot spot. If there is a short wait don’t worry plenty of things to look at in their general store…

If you can beat the after-church rush it is a great Sunday breakfast restaurant. If you can’t beat the church rush, well, you’ll see a line out the door and people rocking in the 30 rocking chairs outside as they endure their 40 minute wait. This is why we go before church. Tell no one our secret. The wife and I particularly like this place simply based on the price. You get soooo many breakfast feast items for soooo few dollars. We smile when our check arrives which you just don’t do anywhere else. It’s that cheap. We’ve ordered one of everything I feel off of the breakfast menu. If you’re having grits on the side, always ask for the jam’n’apple butter. Mix this into the grits and go to town. Delicious. Eggs are always cooked properly but be sure to salt and pepper them yourself. Anything with the word«sticky» in it is too sweet. Avoid. You can’t go wrong with pancakes but the portions are huge so it’s easy to fill up on those. We are still working on how to balance the portions, our taste desires and our hunger level even after being here dozens of times. While we cannot vouch for anything other than breakfast, I bet it is also delicious. This will continue to be our breakfast place in Lakeville over Perkins and Buckboard. The service, food quality and flavor, cleanliness and price just seals the deal. Be sure to buy some retro candy on the way out that you’ll think you’ll eat later. You won’t eat it because you’ll be full all day but maybe you can eat it tomorrow. Good luck and wear fatpants.

This is my favorite place for breakfast! I’ve only been here a handful of times for lunch, but breakfast is where it’s at. Both my boyfriend and I are early risers so we usually come in on Sunday morning. Biscuits, fried apples, a side of grits and sweet tea are my usual thing. I’m a pescatarian so I’m glad I can come to a place that serves a lot of meat and still get enough to eat and more then just 2 options. I’m a granny at heart, so I’m a fan of the décor and all the old time vintage candy, there are so many fun vintage toys and knick knacks to check out after your meal or while you wait. Eat here, it’s the Sugar Honey Iced Tea!!!

So dam good. Minne is missing good southern food, and Cracker Barrel delivers. I can’t believe I’ve never been given how close it is to where I grew up! My bf and I were driving back up to Mpls and stopped here on the way in. They have sweet tea, and it is SWEET! I ordered the Country Fried Steak with cheesy grits, hashbrown casserole, and fried okra. My bf ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken with mac and cheese, corn, and fries. We couldn’t decide between biscuit or cornbread, so they brought both out — so nice! I liked my steak better than the chicken, and my fave sides were the mac and cheese and hashbrowns. The portions were huge, and I could only eat half of my dish. The service was great — our server was prompt, attentive, and kept the tea flowing. Very happy with my experience and will be back to try breakfast!

I have driven by this place every single day for the past 8 years, yet I have never stepped foot in here until just a couple days ago. I always see the parking lot packed from morning to night and always thought that the food must really be that great. But, for me food was just okay. Typical original American fare. We ordered BBQ chicken and broccoli cheddar soup. To our surprise it was seriously brought to our table in under 5 min! Amazing! But, just because it was quick does not mean it was hot. The temperature of the food was warm. I understand that soup is made generally once a day and kept warm in a pot, but I feel as my soup was previously cold and not heated properly. Also it was not the best broccoli Cheddar soup I have had. The chicken was delightful and juicy, but once again it was not very hot. I noticed that a majority of the customers are older folks. So, is Cracker Barrel worried that they will burn themselves? Just a thought. Also, I will pass on corn bread next time, it was some of the worst I have had. Our server was great though and kept our cups full and was very polite. That is why they get 3 stars instead of two. I do plan on coming back and giving breakfast a try though, it will be their last chance to win me over.

The food here is awesome, I ordered the catfish with shrimp, baked potato talk about delicious. Their corn muffins are yummy and so are the buttermilk biscuits. If your ever in Minnesota look this restaurant, its a must, You can shop while you are waiting for your table and outside the restaurant are these nice old rocking chairs.
