Ross Dress for Less

New store off exit 32 in Lakeland. I’ve passed it many times and finally decided to pop in and check it out. (Why yes, I do have a shopping addiction)
The parking lot is a bit convoluted to get through, so drive the distance to the main entrance, it’s worth it to avoid all the twist and turns you’ll be making. The store is clean, and it’s like all the smaller new format stores, the accessories are off to the left and right up front where loss prevention can watch them. Women’s and Juniors is also right up front and sadly it’s rather sparse. Most stores have a LOT of clothing but this store does not. They also have far fewer dresses than most places I’ve visited recently.
Over all, the store was neat, their dressing rooms were clean, but their bathrooms were. a disaster. Neither of the 2 stalls locks worked. They simply didn’t line up properly so they could stay closed. Neither stall had toilet paper. One had ¼ a roll on top, but neither dispenser had any roll in side. The check off list had no checks, when I told the female attendant at the dressing room what was needed, she gave me the excuse that they’d been busy and that it wasn’t a necessity to check the bathrooms. Um. yes, it really is.
Over all, its got potential, but right now, it’s pretty lack luster.
