Overall this a very clean beautiful Publix. My major complaint is the Deli, walk in at 12:15 for lunch only to find out that they have 0 hot food ready. I ordered a chicken tender sub only to be told it would 15 minutes. I’m sorry I do not have 20 minutes to get a sandwich made on a lunch break!

Man, I had forgotten this once was a Food World until I read Deke’s review. That goes back a bit. I like this Publix for the variety. We don’t shop at this one too often because another is closer to us, but when we do we like it.

Long-​time Lakelanders still call this grocery «Food World» for the store it replaced. We call it «Gucci Publix» because of the «la-​de-​da» factor we feel when in there. It does have wonderful fresh sushi and a chef who is capable of making specialty sushi such as inarizushi or kabuki roll. Great ethnic options, full Chinese take-​out, great flower shop. Parking lot is a pain in the neck.
