Pollo Tropical

Well in my previous review I gave them 4 stars. That didn’t happen today. Drive threw had their head up their ass. Took my food back in to get refund because of lack of chicken in my ceased wrap. This is the ONLY thing I eat there and they use to have a nice amount of chicken on them. Today there was at least half the chicken missing making the wrap just that a wrap with chicken taste and little chicken (picture). Manager was a black lady that asked for receipt, looked in bag and wasn’t there. She told me she can’t refund money without it. The manager’s who say this actually are lying to you. They can do anything they want to make customers happy its just she didn’t want me to be happy. Made me wait 15 minutes while she looks for receipt. Didn’t find it and gave me refund for only 1 wrap, there were 2. This could be my fault as I ASSUMED this idiot of a manager could count 2 wraps in the bag. So they still owe me $ 3.00 and change. After manager ripped me off with wrong refund she just walked off. No apology no thank you not even a fk off. Made me feel that she is a racist pig and I should stop expecting human behavior from her. Will never go back there. There food also is only mediocre so why put up with the bs over bs tasting food.

We stopped by here on the way home Sunday night, This is a decent place to goto for lunch or dinner if you’re on the go since it’s healthier than most of the other fast food joints. The service was pretty quick at night, albeit we only went through the drive-​thru. If you plan to come here during the day for lunch, there is usually a wait — but it’s because people are lined up for the good food!
I got the chicken tropi-​chop with white rice, black beans, and lettuce and I’m all about their mojo pork and quarter chicken meals. You can mix and match all types of sides with their bowls and same with the chicken meals.
You have to get their garlic sauce because its so tasty!

Will not be returning to this location.
1. Sent in order online at 1:42 for a 2:00 pm pick up, employees did not start putting together the order until after got there
2. Employees were incredibly rude (in front of the on-​duty manager who did nothing), ignoring questions by turning their backs
3. Orders were incorrect — wrong sides, missing things asked for, mixed up sides, no sauces what-​so-​ever (when manager was told about this over the phone after the problem was detected said «well there’s a sauce bar, he could have gotten them while he waited»)
4. Chicken is dry and all of the food is cold (keep in mind #1)
Terrible service, terrible food at this location. If you have a choice, go elsewhere to avoid being treated as an inconvenience. I realize that the food is on the cheaper end of the scale, but there are several other Pollo Tropical locations and other chains that will be happy to take our business.

Never been to a pollo tropical branch that doesn’t have yellow rice available and curry sauce out of stock. The guy from the drive thru should be more honest and clear… but on the positive side, i was in and out quickly from their drive thru lane

I have been to countless PT’s, but I am only going to review one. I love this place. For the price and quality of the food, this is a great meal. I always get the large chicken Tropichop with onions, black beans, and brown rice. The food is always consistent and fresh. Great food at a great value!

I was craving the usual and stopped by a new location this time around. The drive thru was quick and easy. I’m a huge fan of the Tropichop and I didn’t think twice about what I was going to get. Mojo pork with brown rice, corn, black beans, and extra garlic sauce is always a win for me.

Excellent, recently opened and the staff is nice and courteous. The tables and décor is clean and updated. The food is the same quality as the rest of the chain. I even had a manager stop by the table and ask if everything was fine. My wife and I appreciated the attention. Had their chicken breast platter, and my wife had the ½ chicken platter. The food was good and consistent to the chains others stores. Great value for the money.
