We love to eat at the firehouse @ 6169 Jog rd. the Subs are so warm and tasty, My wife and her sister and of course us the Husbands go there about 4 times a month after we work at church feeding the homeless, What a treat if we had Subs for them. Don @ Allene

I just stopped in while I was getting my oil changed next door. This is the best sub I’ve gotten in a long time! They were very courteous and friendly. I look forward to coming back soon.

We came here tonight because it was my youngest son’s 17th birthday. He wanted his freebie.(a medium ½ sandwich) I also had 2 other teens with me. They enjoyed their food but there were 2 problems. The first problem was that both of my sons asked for their sandwiches to be made without onions but both subs had onions on them. One son removed the onions. The other son tried to pick them out between the pieces of melted cheese and steak. Next problem was that my sons’ sandwiches came out very quickly but our guest’s sandwich came out long after theirs did. We had been informed that the meatball sub our guest ordered would take a while to be ready but it took at least 10 minutes. They waited to eat until the last sandwich was delivered which meant their food was cool. The kids enjoyed their subs but I would have been happier if their orders had been correct and served in a timely manner. The counter workers were very nice. Our guest needed a box and it was delivered to our table.

I ordered the Hawaian thing with pulled pork coleslaw. The guy pulls the meat out of the steamer and has to squeeze the juice out, then adds some kind of sauce and runny coleslaw then the dripping meat. The only thing dry was the top bun. I go to pick it up and my two thumbs disappear through the soggy bun and the sandwich literally falls apart. Then I discover the gristle in the first bite. It went directly into the trash… First and last visit… Awesome subs on lake worth road, kills this place

I really wish I could give a place a negative 5 star review. I am really big on customer service. I think it is incredibly important in the service industry and unfortunately this place had terrible service. So my dad and I go after a round of golf to this dump and my dad has diabetes so he takes his ice tea with splenda or equal or some sugar substitute. We go he orders the meal and the drink and walks over to the counter where the sugar is and look no substitute. So my dad eats at this place all the time and apparently they always have this stuff. Well today they don’t so he goes back to the front and politely asks for the sugar alternatives. The Jacka** behind the counter says, take it or leave it pal that’s all we got. Really that’s your response you a**, cant get your lazy self off your butt to look for the splenda which was under the counter. This guy starts spouting all these«people» always want something else. These«people» WTF does that mean? BTW I am of Indian descent and a little confrontational and my Dad who I look up to and respect is being treated like shit, so I walk over and maybe I was rude but it felt really good. I said listen, we are the customers and the reason you are a min wage employee is because you act like one, with that attitude you will always be in this crap situation and crap job. Go get the splenda. He literally looked under the counter, 5 inches from where he was standing and found it. Was it really that hard?! These people are idiots at best. The food is ok but the service sucks!

Went here because a sign spinner referred me here. Nice décor. I ordered a medium brisket sub combo and it was tasty! The ladies were cute and the manager was all smiles and very funny! Drinks as usual had a variety of selections and the chips as well. Wish the place was larger and the tvs bigger. Overall, this place is a good hangout spot for your friends.

I normally love Firehouse Subs but this location was just bad. I ordered the New York Steamer to go like I usually do, and was disgusted from the very first bite. The pastrami and corned beef was unbelievable fatty and tough. I’ve been known to suffer through some less than stellar meals but I ended up just tossing the entire thing after sifting through to see if it was just that one bite. It wasn’t. I’m used to fairly high quality subs from the other Firehouse locations. Won’t be returning to this one.

The subs are good and more unique than subway and publix. The price is a little steep, but the staff was very nice and friendly. The big issue I had was that I saw a bunch of roaches run out from under the cash register while they were making my food(it looked like a family — 1 big mom and 2 or 3 little baby cockroaches). Haven’t been able to make myself go back since then… I get sick to my stomach just thinking about it. If you really need to get your firehouse fix there’s another one near gateway and congress. Dunno if they have bug problems at that location though.

Call 911… we have an emergency… this location is overpriced and they put so little meat on their sandwiches it’s a joke. Many better choices for a sub… Subway is ten times better than this place. Don’t bother going… you’ll be disappointed.

Good for what it is. I’d rather come here than Jersey Mikes, Subway, etc. Service is friendly.

Love the NY Steamer! The Italian was way too sweet for me, I am thinking it is the honey ham that is super sweet. I love how the sub is steamed, it’s hot but not dry like other toasted subs. A nice change from subway, but I like the menu at jersey mike’s better.
