Dissapointing. My soup was room temp. Flatbread was bland. The food took way to long to be served? Individual meals were brought out at different times.

Mulligan’s is average. If you are just going for drinks, find somewhere else down here. During happy hour, from 1 – 7, the prices are okay. My beer was more money than a beer up north! The service was great. They have an awesome fish tank in there if you are bringing small children to dinner with you. Our food came out in a timely manner and the server was friendly. I’m kind of glad we skipped the appetizer, because the food was just okay. The fish tacos were good, but my wife’s mahi BLT was awful. The bread was overpowering and the taste was bland. I think the next time we go there, it will be for a burger and a beer during happy hour.

Great happy hour drink specials! The piece of mahi I had in my sandwich was huge and cooked perfectly. I can honestly say that it was better than some super fancy shmancy seafood restaurants that I’ve been to. Appreciated that my son’s kraft mac and cheese(it was most definitely kraft!) was at least fancied up with shredded cheese on top. I would have preferred homemade, but since Kraft mac and cheese is basically my son’s favorite food group, he was happy. Loved the setting on the beach. Will definitely be back again when I’m in town.

What a shame. the food was good, by the beach but the most horrific service ever. The server left for long periods of time and nobody else who I complained to have a damn

Only in town a few days & my lovely dining companion wanted fish tacos & folks suggested Mulligan’s Beach House Bar & Grill. There a were 4 of us altogether. Between us for appetizers, we had a dozen oysters(raw) &4 large shrimp cocktail(the shrimp are large & ordered by the piece). For our meal between us we had a lobster roll, crispy tuna roll, California mahi-mahi wrap & a mahi sandwich. The lobster roll did have a nice amount of lobster, however, there was too much mayo & it was a watery mayo mixture; I’d prefer there wasn’t a dusting of… hum, it had no flavor so I’m presuming paprika. The crispy tuna was a healthy amount & the tuna was cooked very nicely – a nice soft pink center – all enrobed in a deep fried crust. Both the mahi-mahi wrap & mahi sandwich had healthly portions & the fish in each was cooked perfectly — moist & flaky. Our waitstaff(JP) was pleasant & went out of his way to accommodate our every need. The beer was cold & while the cocktails weren’t anything special, they weren’t heavy on the mixer. If you’re looking for a good meal & a view of the beach this isn’t a poor choice.

Why three stars, this is the third time I have been there when visiting relatives and basically I would say the location is the key to what is keeping them there. Now to be fair I have only been there for breakfast or brunch, have not tried lunch or dinner but the food is subpar and the service also is subpar to below average. The atmosphere is very very nice if you’re sitting outside because of the view of the ocean which goes without saying, but some of the small details also like every chair being soaking wet when you sit on them would be something that I would think that someone would pay attention to, I know they probably hose things down but sometimes people could be wearing some expensive clothing and not appreciate getting a wet behind. A leaf blower would work wonders on something like this just as part of keeping your customer base happy, but that’s where the location is what is saving this place.

We went here on Christmas day. We sat outside on the corner and it was a lovely day and we had a beautiful view. Thats about all that was wonderful. We sat there for about 12 minutes before a waiter came. My husband and I ordered drinks and my stepdaughter ordered a lemonade and all 3 water. Another almost 15 minutes goes by he returns with drinks. We place our order, we also made a judgement call that we should order another round because of the time it was taking. He brings only mine and my husbands, not another lemonade for my stepdaughter, nor has he brought any water. We order nachos, the meatlovers flat bread, and some kind of cheesy fries my stepdaughter had. She said hers were good. The nachos had some melted cheese in the very middle only(not even on top, literally in the middle) and some sprinkled cheese on top. Then there was tons and tons of lettuce, and some tomatoes. Close to the worst nachos I have ever had… so much lettuce. Then there was the meat lovers flatbread. The sausage on it was breakfast sausage(And it tasted like breakfast sausage) and it was soft. The bottom of the flatbread was soft. Like you could fold it like a pizza, except the pre cut it in triangles for you. I like my flatbread crunchy. The view is really the main reason to come, its right on the ocean.

Great food and view was fantastic– front row seat to the beautiful turquoise ocean. Service wasn’t that great on the other hand.

Went to Happy Hour with a friend 3 weeks ago; sat at the bar and asked the barmaid Angel if Bloody Mary’s were included in the Happy Hour specials. she said, «yes» and I had 2 while my friend had several glasses of wine and we had the Happy Hour appetizers that were very good. The bill came and the BM’s were $ 2.69. Great price and they were delicious. I returned for Happy Hour again this Wednesday because my daughter and I wanted a Bloody Mary which went quite well with the Firecracker shrimp. The waitress tells us, «Bloody Marys are not included in Happy Hour specials. I relate my last experience and she gets the manager. He knows I’m telling the truth because the barmaid Angel shows up later. He repeats that Bloody Marys are not included and that’s policy and says,“The barmaid made a mistake». Well take a lesson in good management buddy; Your employee, your mistake. You honor the customer’s request and explain for next time. Lousy managing and penny wise dollar foolish too buddy because for that lousy $ 3-$ 5 you lost all my business forever. Sorry to get the sweet barmaid, Angel, in trouble but if she was being nice in giving me a «happy hour» special off the menu she should have told me. Instead I was embarrassed in front of my daughter and friends and insulted by this crude and lousy manager who BTW was not present during my first visit and nowhere to be found after denying my request and insulting me.

Great relaxing place by the beach. Took my two sons and our dog Chewie! Their Bloody Mary never disappoints me:) and food is always great! They even had a spot for our Chewie to enjoy his own drink!

Came down to Florida to spend thanksgiving with my dad for the week. First holiday away from the majority of my family in Boston. A group of my dads friends made reservations here for thanksgiving dinner. We sat at the bar for a good half hour and Angel took great care of us. I was surprised with how many drink choices they had. We had about 12 – 14 people and they did very well accommodating us. They had a great turkey dinner with salad or soup to start and a slice of pie for dessert. Christopher was our server and he was a pleasure. As a former waitress, working big parties that request separate checks can be challenging. The menu was impressive with everything from raw bar to steak and burger choices. I was impressed with all the choices. Prices were more than reasonable and from the plates I saw, portions were ample. My dad and I will definitely come back here. Thank you Christopher for making Thanksgiving a great meal for all of us. We will be back!!!

‘Ello chaps! With a spot literally across the sandy beaches of the Atlantic, Mulligan’s Beach House Bar & Grill has got a great location! What they don’t have is a superb level of food quality that always seems to be lacking with restaurants in the area with such a great view. It’s quite disappointing really. Fish and chips. Mulligan’s says it’d make any Brit envious. Ummm, ok. Not sure how. Philly Cheesesteak. Subway makes one better. Ok, ok, not to be wragging on Mulligan’s as it does have a well maintained restaurant and a pleasant atmosphere. Just know you’re paying for the view and location and def not for a high caliber cuisine.

Succulent Veggie omelet! The restaurant sparkles and the staff is super friendly. We have the VIP card so it makes it worth it to come more often

Wifey and I went there last night for a date on the beach. We sat outside, it was a cool evening, ocean breeze blowing in, and gentle waves provided our background noise. We started off with a giant fish bowl of a Bahama Mamma which was really good. You get to keep the humongous souvenir glass which I bet will hold an entire bottle of wine, so this thing could prove useful. Hands down, the drink was worth the price of admission. For an appetizer, we got the seafood trio which is comprised of dolphin fingers, firecracker shrimp and conch fritters. The dish comes with generous amounts of tartar sauce and a cajun remoulade, which were both fantastic. Everything was cooked very well, and I’ve never been to a restaurant that actually gives me enough sauce for the food that comes on the appetizer, but this place did. If you’ve ever tried to prepare conch yourself, you know that they are slimy, nasty little critters, but they managed to make them edible. If you’re only gonna choose one of the three on this trio, the firecracker shrimp were amazing. For the main course, wifey got the lobster roll. She liked it very much. We didn’t confirm it, but pretty sure it was Maine lobster rather than the local spiny lobster. For my main course, I got the special which was a grilled swordfish. It was REALLY good. It was also a really good price at $ 18 for that special(normally swordfish in our area is $ 25 or higher). The only hiccup of the night was that they forgot our onion rings, but our waitress, Christine, who was awesome, was on top of it and fixed it right away. Also, I did not care for the seafood bisque… the flavor was a little off. Hard to explain, but it seemed like there was ketchup in it or something. Also, the kitchen delivery timing was off as I got the bisque quite literally right before the main courses came out. We did not get dessert there. Instead, we went and walked on the beach and enjoyed the evening and went back to Kilwins for ice cream next door. Great location, great waitress, and great food.

Mojito was a poor choice for breakfast, but given I had been making bad choices since the day before my visit to Mulligans, I do not blame anyone but myself. It was too sweet for a morning beverage despite the lightness that a mojito is known for. Three of us sat at the bar, which I would also not recommend for breakfast because I think they had better tables but we were too impatient to wait. I had a veggie benny for breakfast and could smell the ocean. Both of which were excellent. The only down side is that actually sitting at the bar is extremely difficult. There’s a ledge on the edge of the bar(probably to keep me from spilling my mojito on my lap) but that made it extremely difficult to eat. I couldnt’ get my chair close enough to the bar or the plate close enough to me without setting it on the lumpy edge. Next time I’ll choose a table. And a bloody mary.

Came here for breakfast the day before labor day at around 10:30. No wait. The food was good. I got french toast with eggs, bacon and potatoes. Really more than I could eat, but it was all very tasty. The waitstaff was friendly and Johnny on the Spot with the coffee refills. The parking for this establishment sucks. Not only is it pay parking, it is pretty far away from the restaurant.

The Fish and chips is a real good deal and Friday special. The restaurant is on the water and had a good menus and awesome view and breeze with a fun nautical theme. The full bar offers great cocktails and daily specialty drinks. The fish tacos are delicious. The service was reasonably quick even during season and time and servers where friendly and accommodating. Love the Adirondack chairs and colorful theme. Very reasonable prices too.

Walked over for breakfast and sat outside with a nice view of the ocean. + Super prompt service; server was incredibly friendly. + Simple breakfast menu + Extremely high-quality(and large quantity) of egg whites in the«Fit & Simple» breakfast. Eggs were perfectly cooked, not greasy, not overdone, and very fluffy. + Fresh fruit was tasty and perfectly ripe — Only hot sauce option was Tabasco — Coffee was slightly off in flavor Looks like a great place. I’ll be back before I leave!

We stopped here for breakfast before heading down to the beach one morning. We were greeted and immediately sat right down at an outside table with a great view of the ocean. Yay! Tracey was our server and she came right over to get our drink order. She was extremely personable and very nice!!! We took a few minutes to look over the menu and finally made our decisions. I ordered the French Toast with fresh strawberries and my boyfriend got the Chicken and gravy. My french toast was delicious! It was served piping hot and came with bacon, home fries and eggs. The chicken and gravy was steaming hot too… it had awesome flavor, but was a tad dry, and it was served with biscuits and home dries. Throughout the breakfast Tracey made sure to check on us and refill our drinks multiple times. Before we left I walked through the restaurant just to check out the place, the bar is beautiful it is backlit with an ocean scene. The restroom counters are like that as well. This is a great little spot and we will definitely be back!!! I want to try it out for lunch or dinner.

I was in the area on business and was staying at the hotel across the street, and Mulligans was just a short walk away. Before I go any further, I want to point out that I’ve worked at many seafood restaurants on Pinellas county beaches, Hurricane, Crabby Bills, Gators, Kingfish. I know that on a rainy chilly evening a week before thanksgiving the beaches can be really slow. I arrived around 7pm, and there were only two or three tables with people in them, never a good sign if your looking for fresh seafood. Most restaurants will freeze their seafood on a slow night, or just not have anything available. Luckily I was wrong. I was seated promptly by Chris who also was my server, who gave me great service through my whole meal. I ordered a glass of wine and the seafood bisque. The bisque was really good, with chunks of shrimp and fish. I asked Chris his thought between the salmon or the mango Mahi mahi. He recommended the mahi and to get it blackend, so that’s what I ordered, with red skin mash potatoes and broccoli. It was very very good, fish was cooked perfectly and very moist and spicy, both sides were hot and the broccoli was done just right(not mushy). The décor is your typical beachside seafood restaurant, though it seemed very clean, and well kept up.
