Gages Lake Auto Lake Villa

Newer to the area and received a mail flyer for this shop. I needed a tire rotation and oil change. So I decided to use this shop. I looked online and saw I could make an appointment online. Sure thing, they called me back soon to confirm my request. I brought my car over, and was told it would take an hour. No problem. I knew there were some minor things which could have been worked on, but I didn’t suggest or ask about them since they do a free test drive/​inspection too. Well they found the issues I knew were there, and I asked about other items to see if they would «up-​sell» me. THEY DIDNT! Well since they were honest, I had them do the minor work. At this point I knew it would be a longer wait, and they offered me a free loaner. FREE LOANER. And it was a nice brand new car, not a junker. When I picked up my car, I was happy with the price, even though some of the work I could have done myself, I was pressed for time and didn’t mind paying the shop. I asked other service questions/​advice as I checked out, and I’ll go back in a minute. They treated me like I was a neighbor or friend, versus a shmuck they just want to up-​sell every little service.

EXCELLENT customer service!!! Brought my car in for an oil change and was sent out with a loaner car for the day. How nice!!! Didn’t have to wait in a waiting room (which, if you have to, it’s comfy! And they have coffee too!). Thanks so much, Gages Lake Auto! You guys make car care easy and honest!
