Lakeside Grill

Never again. Very bad food. Severed cold food that was supposed to be warm. Salad that had been under a heat lamp. Bad on so many levels. Won’t ever go back.

Great portions, decent selection, incredible view, affluence.. . And the only thing missing here is high quality food. A shame really, as a location like this could be iconic in terms of statewide notoriety. Given the average income of those in the vicinity, you’d expect the menu to be accurate. Unfortunately, our waitress had to repeatedly warn us that the food on the menu description would not match what actually shows up at the table (i’m not talking drastic, but enough to justify a renewal of the menu).
Furthermore the building itself could use some renovation. It feels like Wendys. And i’m only saying this because you can literally see a 6 billion dollar home from the balcony. Well, and that this restaurant probably has the best view of Rainier of any restaurant in the state. Resting at the edge of a giant man-​made lake (tapps) too. Lots of unrealized potential here. Don’t let that keep you away, though.

Really friendly staff and great food complement the scenic views of this great restaurant. The portions are big and so is the value — we just had 5 adults meet for lunch there and the bill was only about $ 40. Great for families or for a beer after work. The pizzas and wraps are my favorites.
