I came in for lunch and it was perfect. They had quite a few $ 5 roll options. They had traditional Chinese fare along with an assortment of appetizers to choose from. I will definitely some back.

Awesome food! We love this restaurant. Family owned and they are very nice and accommodating! The sushi is very good with lots of choices and there are plenty of cooked dishes for those that don’t like sushi. The Teriyaki Salmon is to die for!

Service was impeccable. Crunchy roll is excellent lettuce wrap puts changs to shame. I will be back.

Amazing sushi!!! Been here a few times and it’s the same every time… Great service and great food! I have never left disappointed. Family owned and operated… It makes for a great experience! Definitely our favorite sushi place! Give it a try!

This was delicious! Ordered carry out last night for me and my girlfriend to enjoy after we heard it was delicious. Ordered the yellow chicken curry, vegetarian fried rice with tofu added and two orders of the egg rolls. The egg rolls are the best! Very similar to Little Asian in Warrenton, Missouri. Stuffed with a tight mixture of chicken and pork they are so good. Not the typical cabbage filled thick chewy egg roll wrapper. They use the thin egg roll wrapper and it is fried perfectly crispy. The sauce they serve with them is wonderful. Again no the typical thick red sweet and sour sauce.

Headed out to the Saint Louis Renaissance Faire and wanted some food on the way back into the city. Unilocal didn’t disappoint with this recommendation. Family run it seemed, the daughter was our waitress, the father cooked, and the mother was doing some prep work at a back booth, chatting with us about Chicago — which is where we were visiting from. So — 10 stars on the friendliness factor.
On to the food: Seaweed salad was slightly different than what I normally have — delightfully so. I cannot place exactly how the dressing differed but very delicious and beautifully plated. Spicy salmon was quite good, built up on the heat as you ate. The real treat was the pad thai. We’ve eaten at several Thai places in Chicago and elsewhere, highly rated. This was by far the most delicious pad Thai we’ve had. The sauce had just the right amount of peanut flavor to it, a touch sweet, and just oh so delicious! It was hard not to order some to go as there was none left to box up. Portioning was generous, it was just too good to not finish.
HIGHLY recommend you try it out, we’re quite sad it isn’t a place we could frequent as we were just passing through.

nothing to great. sushi was okay and pad thai was alright. No comparison to the other place on the other side of the lake. Same for Thai. I will give them credit for the service but that doesn’t make me want to come back.

Had dinner here tonight. Everything was amazing! Full restaurant and one server. He killed it:)
We had 4 different rolls and some nigiri. Everything tasted so fresh and the rolls had a very nice flavor.
We brought our girls and they had the Orange Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork. It was a huge portion and they are almost every bite.
All in all, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back

Was looking forward to the place after reading several reviews. Ordered edemame and soup as an app. Both subpar and didn’t seem fresh. Family had pad Thai and I ordered 2 rolls which were good until my stomach cramped 10 mins later. Waiter was friendly and attentive but I won’t be back.

Close to home, healthy AND delicious.
Spicy tuna roll was fresh with good quality ahi.
I then really enjoyed the spring rolls. Very flavorful.
The hubby thought very highly of the terriaki salmon although he ate to much and need a to go box.
Very good food.
A well needed gem in Lake St Louis.
We’ll be back often I expect.

First time visit. Tried many different appetizers, enjoyed them all. Tempura shrimp and crunchy rolls were the best. Limited bar, but they had moscato. The décor was very impressive.

Asabi Bistro has the best sushi, Thai, & Chinese food in the region! Ingredients are super fresh and cooked with great skill and artistry. We eat there sometimes 3 times a week… because it is THAT good. The prices are also very reasonable. I must also compliment the owners and staff. They provide the most friendly and efficient service you could ever hope to find! We LOVE it!

As a Seattle native, I’ve been groomed to only desire top quality sushi from non chain restaurants. Asabi bistro holds itself to the highest of standards. Fresh high quality fish, superb laid back service, and very reasonable prices. You can’t ask for any better combination. It’s hard to believe there is a sushi bar this good in the Midwest.

This place is amazing, our favorite sushi restaurant, but they have much more than that. They have Chinese, Japanese, Thai food and more. You can call by phone to order for pick up or dine in which always has good, quick service. Our favorites are crab rangoons as appetizers, asabi sushi (best sushi we have found in St. Louis), and sweet and sour chicken (the chicken is in real tasty chunks not the ground processed chicken pieces like everyone else around here uses. Try asabi out, you won’t regret it!

This is one of our favorite places to go for sushi. The owners are always friendly and welcoming. The sushi is out of this world — we haven’t had anything we didn’t like. The fried rice is SO GOOD!!! Google maps will steer you wrong. It’s across the street from the bridal store and next to Denny’s.

I’ve eaten here twice so far first time I had an asabi roll and Japanese potstickers. Both were amazing. Second time I had the cashew chicken and it was very good quality and very reasonably priced. I’m thinking of making this my new asian food place. Ill keep trying their menu to get a good feel for everything.
Just ate the yellow curry and it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended

After all the great reviews on Unilocal,I had to try this place out. Upon entering it’s a nice little Asian restaurant, it’s appears to be family owned. The staff was extremely help full and nice. The sushi wasn’t to bad, some of the rolls had really good flavor. The only complaints I have is the price of what you get and how the sushi is prepared. I had a roll that had tuna topped on it, and it looked liked the tuna was cut with a butter knife. I’ll have the picture posted. They also need better ventilation in there, I left feeling greasy and smelling like the kitchen… The place could also use a very good scrub down. My table felt like it had a thin layer of grease on it, and the floors felt a little sticky under the table.
Overall my experience was decent, would I come back? I’ll have to decide that down the road. This place is defiantly worth a shot, maybe you’ll have a better experience than I did.

We WAY over ordered! Everything sounded so good… We got the caterpillar roll, crunchy roll & dynamite roll. We both agreed the caterpillar was our favorite. Really good sized rolls. We also ordered the red chicken curry to split but need to save it for lunch tomorrow.
The ambiance was warm and staff welcoming. This place will definitely become a regular in our sushi rotation!

We stopped here to grab some lunch on out way to Chicago for the weekend. It was literally around the corner from the gas station we were filling up at. It was a cute little place. We were seated immediately. We all ordered a small bottle of sake which we all enjoyed. I ordered the octopus salad and the shrimp tempura roll ($ 5 rolls for lunch!). The salad was a pretty nice serving. The roll was delicious! My friends all really liked what they ordered (St. Louis roll, dragon roll, and pineapple chicken). The service was great! Our server was fun and the sushi chef did a great job checking in with us. I’ll definitely keep this place in mind next time we’re in the area!

Great food, great staff and an excellent time. The food was very fresh and tasty. Everything was made to order. A must have was the dynamite roll, I should have had two. The staff was happy and attentive. The was an issue with one roll and they were quick to apologize and fix the problem. The dining area was modern and comfortable. Will defiantly go back.
