Americas Best Value Inn

Yuck. Ewwwwww. Gross. Blah. Will I ever be clean again? That’s how I felt during and in the hours after my stay here. This is THE WORST place I have ever stayed, and for the sake of an affordable road trip I’ve stayed in some, err, interesting places. This place was dirty wayyyy beyond what you expect for a budget motel. There were cobwebs in the lights, dirt marks were all over the bathroom door, there was a pink (!!!) stain on my pillow, there were black marks all over the blanket, the carpet was mushy (yeah, MUSHY!), the towels had brown stains on them and on and on and on. OH, and I woke up with a pink rash on my skin, and that’s never happened before. Guys, seriously, don’t stay here. It’s not even the cheapest place around. (I paid mid-​60s.)

This place is an absolute dump. Few things I found wrong: 1. Entry lightbulb non-​op. 2. Bed sheets and pillows looked like someone just got out of bed. 3. Desperately needed to use restroom after driving all day and noticed a squished dead bug on doorframe. 4. 2 bulbs in bathroom vanity non-​op. 5. Broken toilet paper holder. 6. Spider webs hanging from ceiling.
This place was a last resort as my father and I were exhausted from driving 13 hours all day and they were the only location around that accepted pets. After my father complained about the room to front desk, they moved us to another room. Definitely an improvement but still a complete dump.
I will probably get little to no sleep and stay in my clothes all night or end up sleeping inside my car instead. I only gave this place one star because I had to in order to post this review, lol.
