Don’t waste your time or money if you’re hoping for a true deli sandwich. I called in the order and the guy was rude and barked at me to order after just asking if I could place an order for pick up. So I order 3 sandwiches on rolls and when we get them they are made on hamburger buns. What kind of roll is that? I’m not even talking about a Kaiser Roll… this was a hamburger bun! That’s something you do at home when you’ve run out of bread and don’t have anything else! The only thing it had going for it was the meat. Never again!

This place is absolutely amazing! The service was some of the best I’ve ever had. They are very friendly and they over deliver. All of my expectations were exceeded big time. The deli has amazing sandwiches that you can enjoy in the nice, clean and quiet atmosphere, or you can take it with you. The market has an amazing selection, anything you need, you can find it here. The service and overall friendliness of the staff is what makes this place a must visit! If you haven’t been to this place then you need to go asap!

Went in on Sunday to buy ice. Lady at counter was so rude. She was snotty. She seemed irritated she had to wait for my boyfriend to peruse the menu. Isn’t that her job? When asked if there were bell peppers in the minestrone(my bf is allergic) she didn’t know. She acted annoyed with us for asking. My boyfriend told her why he was asking and she shot back«again, I don’t know.» How do you work somewhere and not know what’s in the food? We left without ordering anything. Shouldn’t have even bought the ice. I will never go back. I think people should treat others a little better than this. Maybe she was upset she had to get up and do something. I bet the video poker players don’t need as much attention.

Found this place not too long ago and thought«Finally — a place near my work that serves decent sandwiches! Fresh-Roasted Turkey? Yay! Free pickle spear in the sandwich bag?! Huge bag of veggie sticks & yummy ranch dip? Lurv!» $ 13 w/drink & tip… kinda lost some awesomeness there… then they started slacking on the pickles… kind of a bummer, but no harm, no foul, I guess. Then I went in & tried to order a baked potato, but they were sold out. So I settled(not really) for my usual — the TBA on Sourdough… not even really that disappointed… until I got back to the office to find Id just paid $ 13 for a moldy sandwich! Called them & was informed that I didn’t receive a moldy sandwich because they just got their bread today. Over & Done. Back to the hunt for a decent deli.

I love this deli! I had the TBA on wheat with veggie sticks. Nothing fancy, but the turkey is ACTUAL turkey(like a roasted and sliced turkey — no luncheon meat here!) and the avocado isn’t the«guac spread» common in most sandwich joints, plenty of slices too! They give you your $ 2.50’s worth of veggie sticks(I felt appropriately proud of myself for eating my veggies). Their Ranch dressing is even yummy! Before tip it was $ 9.something. A little spendy but good ingredients. As to the rest of the shop. They do in fact sell Playboys and Penthouse right in front of the deli counter(parents be aware) buy they have some really good wines and they carry other common«convenient store» items. In summation… go there. It’s good, really good.

I was staying at the Phoenix Inn and Suites across the street and it’s always a good thing to have a few extra supplies. In my case, that meant a little cheap wine, a pint of beer, soda for the Kid, and snacks all around. This place was convenient, decently priced, and service with a smile.

This place doesn’t have much going for it. Two things that soured the experience were(1) you enter and are greeted by Jerry Springer on the main tv in the eating area, and(2) they had dirty xxx magazines on display at the front and they were at a child’s hieght off the ground, which I’m sure many kids saw when their parents bring them in. The food quality was definitely mediocre for the price($ 7 – 8 for just a sandwich), especially the lousy bread. Taste was ok, and water tasted refreshingly pure. I won’t go back.

Buyer beware. Our admin ordered sandwiches for 11 people, plus soup and chips, for a lunch meeting. What showed up was a platter of egg-salad, chicken-salad, and sliced turkey-loaf. We also got a separate platter of sliced bread, and some toppings(cheese, mayo, etc.). We also got soup, as ordered. This was all delivered by a friendly delivery guy, whom I tipped $ 10. When I saw the bill($ 152, without tip), I was totally shocked. At that point I was stuck though, as it was lunch/meeting time, so there was nothing I could do. When you see pics of the meager offerings, you will most likely be shocked as well. The next day I called Mac’s and asked for the owner(«John»). I explained what happened, and my frustration, and he told me he would check on it, and call me back. He never did, and this prompted my review. Very frustrating, especially when you consider what was delivered.

I’ve only purchased things like vegetable sticks and muffins so I can’t comment on most of their food. But the sandwich review from Leah T. might make me go get one soon. I GAVETHEM5STARSBECAUSEOFSERVICE. Tim and Scott are honestly real genuine people. I have been in here a thousand times and they are awesome.

Fast service, clean establishment, rarely a line(but maybe it is just the time I usually go). Sandwiches I’ve had have always tasted good, were fresh to the point of a nice lettuce crunch. Bonus points for having a nice selection of bottled or canned beers/drinks.

This is a cool little spot. It reminds me of a place you would find on the east coast. Two guys taking orders, mingling with patrons, calling out ready orders. they seem to have fun with their work. This place truly is half market, half deli. But you don’t feel like you are eating in a gas station. There is ample seating available. The food was good. I wouldn’t mind seeing a little larger portion sizes for the price, but it seems the quality was there. So far I have only had a version of a French Dip. I think they call it a Scottish dip. But it was tasty. Give this place a shot, it won’t disappoint.

So, my first Lake Oswego review in some time… ever, maybe. I used to work around here back in my pre-Yelp days, and now I’m back in the Meadows Brick Office Complex City — and back at Mac’s. Yay! I can walk there! Mac’s is awesome. First, they have baked potatoes with lots of topping choices. Automatic awesome. I have long been on a pro-baked potato campaign, in that they should be available at far more places. Second, they have a whole lot of sandwiches and salads, all yummy(I’ve tried many). Also, Mac’s is reasonably priced, with fast friendly service. Mac’s is better than most delis at most everyhing… let me put it this way: their cold sandwiches come standard with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and cream cheese. Yep, cream cheese. And then on top of that, you choose your meat and cheese. Another cheese. Excellent. I recommend turkey(which is roasted fresh, in-store, daily), with cheddar and of course cream cheese.

This is a pretty cool and unique place. It’s set up as a mini-mart/deli, and you can walk in and buy a cold beer or soda out of the cooler, some aspirin, then walk over to the deli window and order a sandwich«for here» and sit in one of the booths and eat your lunch. It’s a pretty nice little hybrid shop. The staff was super friendly on every occasion I stopped in, the food has been good, and the prices are fair. They only have indoor seating, and it’s nothing fancy by any means. It’s a good place if you’re ever in the area shopping or if you work in the area and want a nice quick and convenient lunch. You could also get a few snacks for later;) Enjoy!

Worst Sandwich in my life. Seriously, I’ve had my fair share of bad food experiences, but how annoying from a place that I used to be a regular at years ago. Although, when I called to let them know that they put chicken salad instead of chicken deli meat on they were very kind and offered to remake it. So, I drove all the way back — and was handed a new sandwich; wrapped in foil this time. They made it wrong again, with chicken breast that they microwaved and then put on top of untoasted bread. I opened the foil to find a soggy mess dripping in mayo, and lettuce –which i’m allergic to and specifically said no to, and two gross looking chicken breasts. What a waste of money and a lunch hour! This place used to be so delicious, 12 years ago. I will forever remember the sloppy soggy sandwich. Disappointed indeed.

Ok… I don’t often give 5 stars… but I didn’t feel like the sandwich warranted only 4 stars… but it isn’t like a gourmet place… but as deli’s go… pretty damn good… oohhhh…soooo hard to decide… so I gave it 5…5 stars for a deli. I had the Highlander sandwich on white bread. I have to admit… I do not eat bread anymore(or I’m not supposed to) and so my intention was to have them use the cheapest bread because ultimately I would remove it and eat with a fork. I also ordered the Highlander because it has 3 types of meat and I figured if I was removing the bread I would want as much for my money as possible so I wasn’t hungry again later. I suck at sticking to a diet. This sandiwch had that perfectly squished deli white bread all soggy with mayo that you remember from when you were a kid… and it SCREAMED«EATME!» *sigh* So I did! I ate it. I ate allllllllllll of it! One GIANT bite after another. And with each giant bite that damn white bread stuck to the back of my teeth and the roof of my mouth like I was 10 again! ITWASTHEBEST!!! I am so full I can hardly stand it and my stomach is going to revolt due to the immense amount of bread I just ingested but god it was worth it!!! I haven’t had a sandwich like that since I was a kid… it was perfection! I will be back… I will try to be good next time and not eat the white bread… it will be hard.

Love the idea of this place. Has the look and feel of a gas station with no pumps. HOWEVER…the food is not nachos and 16 hour old hot dogs, it’s tasty tasty sammiches! I think I made a poor choice but we had fun dipping in the tomato soup! Bonus is you can have a tall boy(or if ghetto like my wife, a 40oz) with your lunch. I saw you eyeball the malt liquor!!! :)
