Little Clippers

We got our son’s first haircut at another children’s haircut place, and it was a disastrous experience. Walk-​ins only, in a small, cramped and dirty space filled with frustrated parents and stylists and impatient kids. Our stylist did little to make our son comfortable, showed no personality, and seemed only intent on getting my son’s hair cut as quickly as possible. My son sobbed and hated it. Little Clippers was the exact opposite and gave us just what we needed. We made an appointment, then brought our son a few minutes early to play and get relaxed. The space is big and clean with plenty for him to do. Everyone from the kids to the receptionist was very happy. Our stylist Susie was slow, gentle, and patient with him, and he got to watch a choice of TV shows while she worked. Best of all, he barely cried. It’s well worth the drive for us, even though the other place is practically in our backyard. We will be back!

I took my daughter here for a haircut. The stylist, while nice, didn’t do any of the things I asked her to do. She spent exactly four minutes cutting my daughter’s hair. The lengths weren’t even, the cut was sloppy, and I had to take my daughter to another salon to fix the mistakes.

This is the place to go after Supercuts butchers your kid’s hair. They will undo the damage while putting on fun videos and providing lots of entertainment.

Horrible customer service. Rude, sarcastic, uncaring, and extremely disrespectful receptionist. While the stylists who have cut my kids hair have been good, we will never go back. The walk ins welcome sign should be taken down since the receptionist has no idea how to keep track of people. You will be treated like the problem if you ask what your status is after waiting patiently for an hour and seeing walk ins after us being brought back. We were told «no one is forcing you to stay». Such a shame… this is in such an affluent area and patient customers are treated so poorly.

Lily is fantastic with my daughter! Plus, she knows how to cut curly hair!

Great place for small kiddos. Great service and lots for kids — videos of their choice, sitting in a car, balloons, etc. Nancy has been great for my son.

I tried liking this place but our last visit was horrible. We’ve been here plenty of times. Its never been «great». The lady at the front desk was angry we missed our first appt (we made two appts for two kids), which we understood why she wouldnt take us but we still had our second appt which was right after and I mentioned I have another appt and would like to get at least that appt in. She went ahead and let us have the one appt but she was pissed off the whole time. She made us feel very uncomfortable and I hope we find another place SOON bc I really do not want to go back. The hairstylist are ok for the most part but being greeted with a rude receptionist makes the whole experience horrible. Get a new person at your front desk!

Took my 15 month old here for his first hair cut and we were very happy :) He even got a certificate of his first hair cut with a lock of his hair. Very good experience!

I keep trying this place over & over again hoping I’ll get someone who really does know how to cut hair… But unfortunately not. Don’t ask for A-​line or anything other than a straight cut across. And even than. I had one lady who didn’t even wet the hair so it wasn’t even when I really looked at it at home. She just cut straight across, took her like 2 min, than spent 10 min braiding. Not coming back here again.

We just left here and I am so happy with the results! My 2 year old son looks so cute after getting his 2^nd haircut ever. Rachel did an amazing job and she was so good with Landon. I will be back. My son didn’t want to leave because he had so much fun.

We continue to be customers — nice staff, good appointment availability, good haircuts, and great patience with our 3 kids. Brought my son for a same-​day appointment (him only this time) — picture day tomorrow — and Lily took great care to make sure his cut was even and looked good on him. He’s tricky with 2 cowlicks! We’ve had uneven cuts with this child once or twice here before with other stylists (as well as at other places — his is a challenging head to cut), but they’ve always listened and fixed anything we catch. No need for fixes today — best haircut he’s probably had.

My son’s 1^st «professional» haircut is just awful. Complete with receding hair line and Alfalfa style tuft. Why would anyone do this to a kid? He had all these beautiful baby blond highlights too that are completely gone. Daughter’s ok, in that at least not horrid, but not worth the price. A basic chop that’s mostly even. She’s had much better for less. Seriously so so sad about my son’s hair. If you want a buzz cut you’re in luck. For anything with more skill, I’d look elsewhere. Looks like someone’s getting a new hat wardrobe.

This place was amazing! !!! I recommend this place to anyone with children. We have two wild children and they got the cutest haircuts. I can’t believe they stayed still. Great service, wonderful atmosphere!

Lalita is our go to lady for our sons haircut. He started going when he was a year old. He’s now 2 and does a great job sitting and waiting. It helps they have movies and toys to entertain them while waiting. Lalita is great and does so well with him. We had another younger girl with brown hair do his hair when Lalita wasn’t there and she did just as well. The front staff can seem a little uptight but they just take payment so I don’t mind or take offense to it.
Lalita keeps us coming back! :)

The first time we went, they were awesome. My son got the best cut ever. They were fast, thorough, and entertained him really well. The second time, they were very short with us and when most of the customers left, I could hear them complaining. I think they were complaining about us as well. Complaining is totally understandable and therapeutic but not within hearing distance of customers. What really severed our relationship with Little Clippers was the stylist cutting his hair was bleeding and got blood on my son. She knew she was bleeding and continued to cut his hair. She could have put on a band aid or gloves or something. This may be an isolated incident but I’m not going back.

We took our daughter here for her first haircut. Upon meeting her stylist, Lalita, we let her know that it was her first cut, and that she is in her «stranger danger» phase. She decided it would be best for her to get her haircut while sitting in her Dad’s lap. It was quick, efficient, and we didn’t get a single cry! It was also nice that Lalita understands how to take care of curls.
She didn’t even charge us for a full cut, but just a bang trim, since she didn’t really have to cut that much hair, which I thought was very sweet of her. At the end, we even got a certificate for our daughter’s first haircut and a lock of her hair so we can put in her baby book.
The space itself is awesome for kids, they have lots of toys, cars, video games and movies. Will be great for once my daughter is a little older.

Little clippers was awesome!!! My daughter loved it. We had her hair cut by Laura who was so sweet and did a really good job and trying to get exactly what we wanted! We are soooo happy!

My daughter has now been here five times… twice was to fix the AWFUL haircut she had just gotten. Today was the last straw. My daughter got her hair cut their yesterday and when we got home, we noticed that it was VERY uneven. So my husband took her back to get it fixed and, after waiting 20minutes, was told that they were «too busy» to fix her hair. We just walked out.
Laura and Nancy do awful haircuts. We liked Summer but nothing that I couldn’t get somewhere with MUCH better customer service.

They did a great job… quick and easy. The stylist was very helpful and friendly with my daughter and her 1^st haircut. I would recommend for kids.

So we decided to come back to give this place another shot (around November, this is a late review). When I called to make an appointment, I politely told them I didn’t want the same chick we had before. Luckily they were able to look up her name and gave me someone else.
We got there early but my son was asleep in the car. We came in right when he woke up (about 15 mins after the appointment) and they were totally cool with that. Finally — a place for kids that actually understands kids!
The timing was awesome because he was still out of it when I plopped him in his little red sports car. He didn’t move for a good 5 mins, and Cori was able to whip through his cut quickly and efficiently. Even after he realized what was going on, Cori was able to divert his attention with toys and was very sweet talking to and comforting him. This time around, I didn’t get scolded for him fussing around sharp scissors — instead she was very careful and quick to cut at every opportunity. Not a single tear was shed, he didn’t get upset at all, and he walked away a very happy camper! Woohoo!!!
We hung out for a bit to play with all the toys and play structures they had around, and the staff was totally fine with it. We were trying to give him some freedom to play alone while his sister napped and wasn’t screwing around with him. While playing we noticed the front was a little long on one side, so Cori came back out armed with scissors and was able to do a quick trim right on the spot. And once again — no fuss! Amazing!
Such a completely different experience this time around. The stylist TOTALLY made a difference, especially since my son liked her. We LOVE Cori and will be back again — thank you!!!
