Really like the staff and all the massage therapists I have seen here. I would highly recommend…

I am coming to Elements since January this year and I have to compliment the wonderful people there. Starting with the receptionists, who are very friendly and accommodating, to the clean and cozy rooms, to my favorite massage therapist, Charley, who has helped my back a lot this year. Everybody takes time to ask who you are and what you wish to have worked on. My little escape from daily life into well being.

I used to be skeptical about a «chain» source for massage. I wanted personable, customized and consistency. I not only found that at Elements in Lake Oswego, but was able to pick who I wanted without feeling awkward about stating my preferences. I’d tell you who my favorite is, but I don’t want to share her!!! Ha. The service level from staff to LMT’s is consistent professional and conveniently located to my SW Portland home.

I have been a member for almost 2 years. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful in suggesting the right therapist if you let them know what type of massage you like or if you have problem areas. I’ve gone to several of the therapists over the years and each are unique, but have done the service as I had requested. After a car accident, I was looking for specific work on my shoulder to help relieve pain, increase range of motion, break up scar tissue, & help overall healing. Happy to say I have avoided surgery as a result of their great work! I love knowing I have a planned appointment coming each month as a part of the membership. Signing up, and cancelling is easy and penalty free so give it a try to reduce your costs.

After trying many massage spots around Portland, I just had to come back to this Elements Massage in Lake Oswego and get a membership. I’ve now been there a few times and recommended it to family members and we always leave happy and relaxed. My last massage was a couple of weeks ago with Jillian and she was amazing! I am so looking good forward to my next massage next month and will definitely request her again. I asked for a medium pressure with focus on neck and shoulders and she took such good care of me. Her pressure was perfect for me and I felt so much better afterwards.

I was really disappointed with the experience here.
The front desk staff was great and friendly as was the LMT. However I asked for a relaxation massage, and explained clearly what areas I wanted worked and that I liked a lot of effleurage, and I ended up receiving a deep tissue massage and was shorted time.
I definitely won’t be returning and paying outrageous fees when they can’t do what was asked.
They’re over priced for what they’re offering. $ 89 for a 80 minute massage with a membership? Why would anyone sign up for a membership when they can get a full 90 minute massage for the same price without being forced to pay every month?

Great great massage! Very knowledgable therapist and staff. Call before to make sure you can get the time you want rather than walking in. My suggestion.

Rec’d gift certificate for 90-​min massage at this Mtn Park location. Ylena provided one of the best massages I’ve ever had — different technique than the usual deep tissue experience. She really pinpointed the stress knots in my back, shoulders, neck, hips and legs and worked specifically on certain muscles to get them to loosen up to provide me with pain relief. Afterwards, she made suggestions on stretches I can do at home to help keep them limber because I sit at a computer all day for work and by evening am often needing to relax. Nice atmosphere, super friendly staff, family-​owned & operated location, easy to find and lots of parking out front. I’ll definitely be back!

The owner personally called me after receiving the results of an email survey they sent to customers. He’s added people and replaced the rude person at the front desk. Since then I’ve scheduled in advance and have been very happy with the massages I’ve received. I think it’s unusual for an owner to care enough to call.

I’ve been a member at this location for a couple of years. With any service like this, it may take some time to find your best fit, but the nice part about Elements is that there are many different massage therapists all in one spot. I tried at least four therapists in the beginning. Yes, I got a few massages that weren’t my style, but it was worth trying different therapists to find Stephanie, who has given me consistently excellent massage for two years! We’re about to move out of state, and I wish I could take her with me!
The front desk staff and owners are very nice and helpful. They remember your name and details about you, showing that they care about their clientele. The lobby, massage rooms, and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable, and they have heated beds, which is awesome during the cold, rainy winters. I’m definitely going to miss Stephanie and Elements Massage!

I went here a few weeks ago because I wanted a relaxing massage to help me relax. (Cause I really needed to RELAX, you know?) Unfortunately, the masseuse was determined to give me a painful deep tissue massage. I kept saying «Ow» but apparently that was not a clear enough message. I actually had bruises on my derrière the next day– that’s how hard she worked me! Some people might like that, but it’s not what I was looking for.
I also felt her fingernails several times and she lacked that slow, melodic quality that a relaxing massage should have. Her movements were sort of jerky.
Other than not getting the type of treatment I was seeking, the spa seemed clean and staff were very nice. I might try again another time with a different masseuse.

Nice atmosphere. I paid for a 80 minute massage but the masseuse gave me about 10 minutes to undress and ended 10 minutes before the 80 minutes was over to give me suggestions on what types of stretches I should do. I requested for her to concentrate on my shoulders and head but it was clearly ignored. I rarely get massages so I requested a level 2 because I was afraid of being hurt. I barely felt anything with a level 2. It was like having my skin rubbed. I highly suggest getting at least a level 3. (4 is the highest). Masseuse was friendly but I would not get a massage from her again (don’t remember her name was she was young and tatted up).

Bought a groupon for my boyfriend for the 55 minute massage. It was his first time and although he was slightly uncomfortable, I’m giving this place 4 stars because it was very nice, very clean, staff was friendly, and they offer you water while you wait; which I thought was very nice. The next time I want a massage I’ll definitely come here! Groupon was a great deal as well! :)

I had the most FANTASTIC massage from therapist Stephanie over the weekend. She gave me great service and allowed me to completely relax (so relaxed I almost fell asleep).
As I wanted a relaxation massage, she gave me just what was needed.
The environment is extremely relaxing as well.
I’d highly recommend Elements at Lake Oswego to any of my friends and family.

I’ve had two massages here. My mom has a membership and has added me to her account, and has been kind enough to let me get a massage when I come to visit. I’ve had a wide variety of massages… from weird, to painful, to euphoric. The first massage I got here was nice, but nothing too special. However my experience today warrents 5 stars. I arrived at Elements just before my appointment time only to hear from the desk staff that I had missed some calls/​voicemails from them saying my therapist was sick. Of course I was bummed not to get the massage as expected and that I drove all the way there for nothing. But they asked if I could reschedule for later tonight and they gave me a free upgrade to 80 min. Yes please, and thank you! I was grateful and surprised by their offer. They gave me Stephanie, who was A-​mazing! Of the many massages I’ve had in different cities… this was definitely near the top of my favorites list. I felt so relaxed from the moment she started to the last. She did wait quite a while before she came in though, which was a little weird. But that’s my only complaint. She was super nice and gave me good streching suggestions, post massage. I will definitely request her next time I’m here.
I would suggest getting one of the last massage appointments of the night though… this place is between a pet store and a pizza restraunt… so some sound occasionally drifts through the walls. I found that during this evening massage the neighbors seemed quieter.
Their prices are good, but finding the right therapist for you is the trick with any massage place.

I don’t really have any other massage places to compare to, but the staff has always been friendly here. The massages are good, the prices are reasonable, and appointments are quick and easy to make.
