Fantastic wines, great prices, expert advice. Thursday evenings are free wine tastings, food included. Lots of fun. Great customer service. Absolutely can’t go wrong here. And they stock a little bit of EVERYTHING. Definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful wine shop! If you’re looking for an affordable everyday cab, check out their Vista Point wine. It is light, yet full of body, and only $ 8.99 a bottle… or $ 5.99 if you buy 3! So glad this little shop is close to our home.

Great place and location in Downtown Lake Mary. The owners are amazing and friendly. I always leave with a new favorite wine. The descriptions of the bottles are spot on and very helpful. My favorites are the reds and«interesting whites». They always have a great variety that changes frequently.

I live in northern California, but my parents live in Florida. I was looking for a local Wine Club that I could buy them a membership to for Christmas last year, and found Pierre’s on Unilocal.I’m SO glad I chose Pierre’s! I stopped by the store when I arrived in FL for the holidays, and found Pierre to be super friendly. The store is well laid-out and has a great variety. Purchasing the Wine Club gift was quick & easy. My parents were thrilled with the gift, and it just kept getting better all year long. At least every other month they’d call or email to tell me what a great gift it was, how much they liked all the wines Pierre selected, and how friendly and knowledgable Pierre and his wife are. They bought more of the wines they liked best, and were especially impressed at how many of them were quite affordable for day-to-day quaffing(as opposed to pricey«special occasion» wines that one never seems to get around to drinking). I totally won the Best Daughter of the Year award for this gift. My parents relocated to Clermont recently, and had been making the drive to Lake Mary pick up their wines each month. They asked me if I could find something closer to them, since it’s a pretty long drive just for wine, but unfortunately there is nothing that compares anywhere in the area. After some thought, they decided that they really want to continue with Pierre’s Wine Club, even though it means nearly a two-hour trip each month — it’s that good! There’s just no substitute for the knowledge and service that Pierre provides. And now I’m up for Best Daughter of the Year for the second consecutive year! Thanks Pierre for making me look so good. ;)

Pierre’s Wine Cellar in downtown Lake Mary is a wonderful wine shop. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and they host weekly wine tasting events(which are very popular and a great way to meet people!) The store is very charming. Olivier will guide you in the right direction depending on your taste and your budget. There is something for everyone at this place.

Nice job Pierre. Your cellar is spectacular. This wine shop was a pleasure to visit. It was well designed, and very user friendly. The staff was also a treat to speak with and offered their help right away. I was happy to learn I was not the only one excited about this find since it was voted, «Best Wine Store in 2008» by Orlando Magazine. I enjoyed the way they broke down their selection – by country. If you wanted to check out an Italian Red, you’d have to follow the signs to Italy. Or should you have a craving for something Australian, it was only a few rows away, clearly marked. And if you looked close at the labels, you may notice that some of them were«Pierre’s Picks.» Also, that if you bought 3 or more of that style, you’d get a discounted price. If you were buying a gift for a wine aficionado, they offer glasses, bags, corks with decorative tops, and boxes of truffles. And if you really wanted to be a great friend, they have a Wine Club. The basic package costs $ 25.99 and requires you to pick up your selection. It goes up to the $ 59.99 and for this price your wine will be shipped. You are also privy to special discounts, food pairing advice, and twice-a-year, member’s only tastings.

For those of us who love wine – aficionados, if you will – it is never just about the wine. The experience, from selection to hangover, is just as important. Nestled between Panera Bread and Stonewood Grill at the Shoppes at Oakmonte, this is one-stop shopping for a variety of wines from all over the world, spotlighting European and California vineyards. Owners and staff are friendly and knowledgeable, priding themselves on getting to know customers’ tastes. Monthly wine tastings are fun but packed with thirsty travelers. Four stars rather than five for one simple but important reason – cost. Offered at local grocery stores, some of the same wines can be found for a couple of dollars less than the Wine Cellar. Salud!
