Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Service is fast and friendly. We were seating right away. Our waiter was great. He came to the table within minutes to get our drink order. About a minute later, he was back with both drinks and the bread sticks. Took our order and brought our salad to our table as well as more bread sticks (all of that in about 5 minutes tops, maybe even less). Didn’t have to wait long for our food and kept the bread sticks coming. Made sure we didn’t need anything, everything was ok throughout our meal. He was fantastic.
Food — My husband did the Tour of Italy and enjoyed it. I ordered the Stuffed Chicken Marsala which is my favorite and what I always order when I go. It is usually fantastic, but this time it wasn’t as good. The stuff in the middle was barely there, not much mushroom sauce on top and I even had to spit a piece out. For almost $ 17, I’d expect it to be the same quality or better than it was when it was cheaper — not worse! We got bread sticks to our table and 2 of the 3 times, they were dry and hard. The server did mention they were hard to us and we heard another server having to replace their table’s bread sticks. You would think those would be changed out. They obviously had been under the heat lamp or whatever for too long. The salad was good though as usual, but lacked some things. It was mostly lettuce. We had two peppers, about 6 sliced olives, two slices (not large) of tomato in the bowl. Like I said, mostly just lettuce. Could have used a little more dressing too. I also noticed they stopped handing out those little mint chocolates at the end of the meals too.
Now they have these cool little things at the table. You can view the menu, appears you can order from there too, pay your bill and even play games. I really liked that. We played some trivia on it and checked out some stuff. We also used it to pay our bill which allowed us to also include a tip and get our receipt e-​mailed to us. However, what neither the server nor the machine informed/​told/​warned us about was that they charge you if you play any games on it. We did not actually find out until I viewed the bill a little closer at home and saw that there was a charge added for the two short trivia games we played (10 questions each game). Customers should be told a head of time when seated that there is a charge for this otherwise, like us, you will think it is free to use.

Water was good but the waiter didn’t take my menus. Even when I lived in Zimbabwe the waiter took our menus after taking our order.

OK I won’t comment on the food. It’s the same at all olive gardens. But I will say the service at this one was terrible. How long does it take to get a refill water? About 10 minutes. How long does it take to get your soup, that’s already made, try 25 minutes. Even paying the bill was a 15 minute ordeal. This is the last time I come to the Olive Garden at Seminole Town Center.

I’m sorry to say that this is by Far the worst Olive Garden I have been to and its hard for me to criticize a fellow Darden restaurant since I my self am a Darden vet… From the beginning we arrived at 3:55 and waited for a hostess to show up (5 min) then she sat us in the bar area and from there we sat another mmmmm I will be polite and say seven minutes and our server shows and ask to take the drink order, I did let her know that we still do not have menus (even though we went through the hostess and did not seat ourselves *point we should have had menus, they were dead) and I would like a wine list. I also went ahead and put my daughters order in because she was pretty hungry after being in school all day and she knew what she wanted… the «female» server was very friendly but not attentive. She later came to the table explaining that she had been waiting on her relief to come and that she had been there all day… so I went ahead and ordered my wine, and eventually her relief the male bartender came to take our order he arrived at the same time as the wine, needless to say our food showed up at the same time as my daughters who ordered at least 30 minutes previous to us and her food was so dried out from sitting in expo it was sickening! I do want to say that I understand shift change and that it can be stressful for the servers, bartenders and all the staff but to see the manager hanging out talking to people right next to me while were sitting there waiting on service is unacceptable a manager should always be aware of his guest before trying to be hip to his staff… And last I’m leaving this message because this is the fifth time I’ve had terrible service here! I could actually write a small novel on our last experiences here one being a special occasion for a sweet 16 but I think I have exceeded my complaints for now. Good Day

This location is a good spot for this restaurant and it’s the typical Olive Garden. The customer service is nice like all the locations I’ve been to. The food is still the same great value of food that I’ve received at all there restaurant locations. Still a fan of this restaurant!

Food was of poor quality. Calamari was soggy. Waiter inattentive and there weren’t very many people in the restaurant, so no excuse. We won’t be back to this location.

So the service here is enough to make me write this. I used to live this place, but service can make or break anything. When they can’t even determine an order to people coming in, seating several people ahead of a two person party that came in later, you feel either forgotten, or even worse, intentionally ignored. Either way, it’s disappointing enough to not contribute money to their establishment. And for those that value their time and the service of a business, there are better places to go in Sanford or Lake Mary.

Excellent food, I ordered the chicken scampi and it was so creamy delicious! My daughter had the meat sauce children’s meal and was a lot of food! My other daughter had chicken gnocchi soup and it was tasty! The service was great and well worth it!

Not a bad lunch. Soup and salad. Salad was a bit soggy. But the Chicken and Gnochi was good. Not very crowded on a Wednesday for lunch… Which was kinda nice to just sit and chat.

I had the Steak gorgonzola and it was great cooked to perfection with great flavor. This is one of my favs

Walked in and was seated at a window booth. The first thing I noticed was the FILTHY WINE GLASSES. Lip prints and finger prints on all 4 glasses. How nasty is that ?!
I was already perturbed that the glasses were dirty, but I was vey upset when our drinks came. The water glass had stuff floating in it !!
The place is ran by a younger crowd but the manager was speechless when I explained the dirty glasses we received so we just walked out.

Terrible service. While we were seated quickly, it took 90 minutes to get our food, then it came out tough and dry, like it had been sitting and waiting. The waitress was excruciatingly slow and everything seemed extremely disorganized.

Ew… yuck. I used to LOVE olive garden it was my go to spot! Now its going to be on restaurant impossible any time now.
First; the food
Our bread sticks where so stiff and had hard dry ends… they brought us out fresh ones. same thing.
The salad was wilted and brown in spots
My food… pasta overcooked, chicken was mushy. how is that even possible? The seasoning just wasnt there… the veggies where so over cooked it was soggy. It just wasnt good at all.
The décor is very outdated with fake dusty plants everywhere… old faded pictures

We paid and left. Never ever to return

Horrible server. Left dirty tray right by our table and was very short with us. Food was fine but service was horrible.

I have always loved the Olive Garden. Unlimited salad or soup and both of them are delicious. Entrees are great as well. Definitely a place to take the family.

We were headed home from Orlando and needed some place to eat. We wanted to get out of the Disney /​Orlando zoo. Stopped by here to get dinner before the drive home. This was not our first choice, or second. But the other places were packed. So we drove a little further until we got here. They were busy but not packed.
The food was good. No drinks as we were driving. Kids all found something to eat that they liked. Price was ok but not great.
Yes, I would stop there again. But there are lots of other choices in the area.

Four of us went out for dinner last night and it was a very very bad experience.
Our waitress, Teresa, took our salad plates away before we were even finished. When our dinner arrived, one member of our party had ordered lasagna, it was drowned in sauce and just sloppy. It gave me the impression that whomever plated it really didn’t care. The fettucini alfredo was cold and the noodles were overcooked. The restaurant ran out of Coke and mashed potatoes (they were the side item for our steak) while we were there.
Overall, the quality of the service and the food has definitely diminshed over the years.

looove olive garden. always get my fix as mentioned… chicken parmesan with fettucini alfredo, then of course i get their wonderful salad after that i got the tiramisu for desert and that sealed the deal my friends. They never disappoint… might actually the best chain restaurant as far as consistency and flavor.

This is the «go-​to» restaurant for my family when someone has a birthday. There are usually 12 – 14 of us.
This last time that we went (April 30, 2012), we had a fantastic server who was able to handle our entire table by herself. She was quick and efficient. I wish I had gotten her name, but it was my son’s birthday and I was distracted.
The food was hot and fresh and everything was just great. We’ll definitely go back. I think the next birthday is at the end of May! :o)

Oooohhhhh– it’s a horrible, nasty chain establishment. Bwah– a Darden restaurant, even! Oh me, oh my, oh whatEVER. Thbbbbtttt! :P
So, I quite enjoy the Zuppa Toscana. One of my all-​time favorite soups. Really quite delicious. Creamy broth base with sliced, skin on potatoes, spicy Italian sausage and cavolo greens. Perfecto!
Their cheese and clam stuffed mushrooms are nice and tasty, too. Nice choice for a quick, cheap lunch.
Service, cleanliness, atmosphere is just what you’d expect at any decent chain restaurant.
But, the soup’s the thing.
