I took several articles of clothing in to the seamstress for alterations, and to have some Cub Scout badges applied to a shirt. The seamstress told me she would have all the items for me the following Tuesday, no problem. It was Wednesday morning. When I arrived the following week on said day, she said I would have to wait until 5:00. When I returned shortly after 5:00, I had to wait while she finished stitching on the badges. The rest of my items hadn’t even been started. The seamstress complained to me about being so backed up. It was very unprofessional. I had previously taken clothing their for alteration/repair and had one item returned to me that hadn’t been touched! I was charged for repairing a hole in the seam, and they never even worked on the dress. Their seamstress/tailor is terrible.

If, in my review I could give less than one star or negative stars this is where I would do it. These people are the absolute worst in the dry cleaning industry. The service was absolutely the rudest thing I have ever had to deal with. These people are terrible. They said, and they promised, that they would get my eight shirts and one pair of pants done, the next day. I said I really needed them, I was depending on them, they said not a problem. This, coming from the owners, a husband and wife team. They seemed very sincere, and I even shook their hands, saying thank you for welcoming me to the community. The next day I get a call from one of their underlings saying that they made a mistake, that they could not get the items done by Friday and they would have to wait until Monday. No matter what I said, their reply was«we don’t start our machines up on Saturday for anyone». When I arrived on Monday I spoke directly to the wife, Lucy, her response was«well, they just didn’t figure it out correctly and I’m going to give you a big discount to make up for everything». So again she hands me off to one of her underlings. The bill was $ 29 and this big discount ended up being one dollar off the bill. One dollar! I looked at this girl and I said«a dollar off?» she said, what do you expect, I gave you 10% off on your dry cleaning. Then with a real smug reply, she said«why are you yelling at me, I’m only here to serve you», and she laughed. This is the last time she’s ever going to see a dollar from me again. I urge everyone to stay away from this place.

I see that there are many rough reviews on here. I am local, and have been using AC of lake Mary for years. They have always been good to me and although there has been mistakes on alterations they always make good on them at no charge. I had forgotten they were closed on Sundays and was leaving for my business trip. I was freaking out because I had basically given the my whole wardrobe. I was able to get in touch with the owner and he and his wife left dinner on a Saturday night, drove from winterpark and opened the shop just for me… the best display of customer service I could possibly think of.

I dropped off three pairs of dress pants to have them taken up an inch each. They told me it would take 4 days which seemed a little long for a simple hem but I decided to go ahead since their price seemed fair. My husband picked up the pants for me at the end of day 4 and brought them home. First, the way they were hung on the hanger left creases in which the only way to fix was to re-press the pants. Secondly, and the reason for my one star review, my white pair of dress pants had been hemmed with dark grey thread which you could see. Really? Was the seamstress so lazy that she couldn’t change the thread and did she really think that I wouldn’t notice the grey line around both pants legs? All three pants had been hemmed with the same color thread but since you couldn’t see it in the others I was willing to let it go — but white pants with a line… no way! I returned to the shop and they did redo them but with no apologies or explanation as to why it was done in the first place. Needless to say that was my first and last time there.

This cleaners was the worst experience of any cleaner I’ve ever had. They ruined a shirt with a hole and took a brand new skirt and stained it in numerous places. The«owner» Lucy denied everything and basically laughed at us while calling us liars. Obviously this cleaner does not need the business. The skirt was brand new(they cut off the tags) and ruined the shirt while trying to get out stains that they put on the shirt previously. Lucy said that she would not even think about re-cleaning the skirt and that she needed to consult with others about the shirt. If she owns the business as she claims, who is she consulting with???
