Have been using Approved Comfort for years for service on my rental properties as well as my personal residence. They have always been on time and very fair with their pricing and service recommendations

Long time customer. First time reviewing this place. Seems like we’ve replaced every internal part in our a/​c and furnace since we have been with them. Sometimes you get a knowledgeable technician, sometimes you don’t, sometimes a chatty one and sometimes one who can’t make eye contact with you. Sure, I might be «one of those customers» but who wouldn’t in this economy. Even though, you get your units serviced, it doesn’t cover ANY of the parts that need to be replaced. They do however have a $ 25 coupon — but what does that matter when you drop $ 900 for a part plus labor (don’t get caught when it’s freezing in Chicago’s January b/​c it’ll cost EXTRA). Cute little side notes, they do a free dryer vent inspection AND at no cost you give you an estimate of how much it would cost to put a new unit in (even tho the internal parts are all covered by their lifetime warranty). Very sweet.

We needed a new furnace, and my boss recommended Approved Comfort. I was very pleased that a salesman came within an hour of calling them, and he was very thorough in laying out my options. The installer was supremely knowledgeable and detail-​oriented. Neither representative that I dealt with treated me with disrespect (unlike Master Tech), and I will use them again for my new AC unit in the spring. Highly recommended.
