This is the best shop in the strip. The staff is great and cares about what they do. The breakfast sandwiches are the real deal. Lunch is good and you can get a great cup of coffee anytime. Well worth the stop i make it there two or three times a week. Love this place.

This place is great! Not only are the bagels and breakfast sandwiches great, and cheap, the lunch sandwiches are really great too! And the cookies and pastries !! Best cannoli I’ve had in a long time. So fresh!!! My only complaint is that they never have any home fries when I go. It’s on the menu, but apparently they never make them, I could live with that. Still a great place!!!

Last Saturday, we had a 6 foot. sub from Adam’s for our Capitol Reunion at Lake Shawnee. It was an excellent choice! Everyone had nothing but complements for the quality(and generous) size of the sub. The only complaint, it was gobbled up quickly(what, no more — no leftovers?). Next time, we need to order more. And, the black & white cookie was real good too.

Messed up my order yet again. How hard is it to make scrambled egg and cheese instead of a fried egg? One time I was overcharged due to someone ringing something up on the register before my transaction and not clearing it. Luckily i questioned why it cost so much. Another time i placed an order in advance a month back. On the day I picked it up it wasn’t ready and they didn’t even have the right number of bagels for me. I hope the other bagel place puts them out of business. I think they only survived because they didn’t have competition. Now they do. Another update. Went back today. Only one of my two bagels were correct and only two of my four donuts were the correct ones, even though I pointed out which ones I specifically wanted. That’s 50% accuracy and an F as a business.

There have always been rivalries between The Oak Ridge and Lake Hopatcong sides of Jefferson. Between food, location, as well as activities real estate, crime etc. The biggest rivalry though was the rivalry between adam’s bagels and lox stocked. I personally being from the Oak Ridge side of town have always struggled with this dilemma. Until today. Sunday morning before going to church I stop in at adam’s bagels for some simple sesame seed bagel and cream cheese. As always, it was as busy as can be. When my turn arrived the man asked me what I would like he made my bagel in a timely fashion and then because both registers were being used he thought he’d just move the line along by rounding up the cost of my bagel to $ 4. The lady behind me bought a bagel and cream cheese and a Taylor ham egg and cheese and her bill was $ 8 and change… The man in front of me bought a dozen bagels and 2 tubs of cream cheese and paid $ 10 and change… Yet my simple bagel and spread cost me $ 4. I am by no means a «cheap person» but $ 4? When for an extra $ 1.50 I could have probably had a hot breakfast sandwich? When I expressed my confusion with the price the man looked at me frustrated and said loudly«ITS $ 4!» So I gave him my money and walked out, embarrassed. Remember, you line may be long? But customer service is what keep your business open.

It gets 2 stars because the coffee is okay and it’s cheaper than most places. I’m a quick morning stop at any coffee shop I go to. I work long hours and earn every dollar I get. Counter help pretty much tried to rush me out the door so she could keep my change. Not that itneas a lot, but I use that to pay for daily meters while making sales calls. I also use it to purchase my coffee in the morning. I don’t care if counter servers are dependent on tips. It’s not a waitress in job and if they feel they need to make more money they should speak to thenowner. The sandwiches are expensive, so we know there’s probably room for them to pay their workers a little more.

Been here 3 times. each time i ordered taylor ham and cheese with no egg. each time the taylor ham is basically raw, the bagel is doughey and underbaked and the cheese isn’t even melted. very disappointing. 3 strikes and you’re out. have not returned since. If you want to try an excellent bagel place– look up Pop’s bagels in Wharton NJ– phenomenal.

No where near a NYC or Long Island classic style. The bagels are tasteless as cardboard. Their baked good is the same. I drive 5 miles north on 15 to the Bagel Station.

Adams has become a Saturday morning tradition for my hubs and I. The prices are reasonable(in line with other individual bagel joints in the area.) Their standard bagels are great and they have loads of special types that we LOVE — parmesan, sundried tomato, jalapeño, etc. We’ve gotten loaves of bread for holidays before and they are always yummy. A wide selection of drinks in the cooler plus coffees and teas. As mentioned before, it is cash only but there is an ATM available inside. Saturday mornings are usually packed but the staff is efficient and everyone passes through the line quickly.

Adam’s never fails to deliver delicous food every time. Even when the order doesn’t come out«just right» it is still wonderful! I ordinarily don’t eat white bread, but they’ve got the best homemade white bread around. The service is very friendly and everything is delicious. Prices are a little high, but the sandwiches are really huge, so I guess that’s to be expected. Their newer location has a seating area which is a definite perk. No credit/debit payment options, but there is an ATM. Call in your order in advance if you’re in a hurry :) how convenient is that?!

Best bagels around for miles. Classic NY style in a friendly hometown market. Sandwiches are never lacking in deli meat and if you get cream cheese on your bagel expect to take some off. Worth the money, just remember to have cash or use their in house ATM since they dont take credit cards. They do have a selection of cookies and such, but I’ve never veered from the bagels. Be sure to check your order when you get it though, some of the kids hired for the summer haven’t picked up on the swing of things quite yet — don’t worry, they will!

It would be 4 ½ if Unilocal allowed half stars. This is the best bagel I’ve had in a very long while(granted I’ve been in CA and they can’t do bagels at all). In addition to being delicious — it was huge — definitely enough to keep me full until the mid-afternoon. My new office is right down the street so I know I’ll be there at least once a month.

Best bagels in the area and they are pretty consistent in their quality. The provide quick service and are primarily a take-out place. Not a whole lot of atmosphere but you can run into colorful Jersey characters, who use terms like«slammin»

GREAT Bagels by anyone’s standards. They also have great cold cuts and bagel sandwiches, you just can’t go wrong. Warning: cash only

Adam’s is a great place to stop by at any point in the day. Don’t let the name fool you, they have great sandwiches, soups, and desserts. The bagels and donuts are fresh and put the Dunkin Donuts across the street to shame. The breakfast sandwiches, particularly the Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese are fantastic. Adam’s bakes fresh bread which they then cut down the length of the bread to give you a large sandwich. Both cold and hot sandwiches are popular, but my personal favorite is the egg salad. Adam’s has a showcase of desserts to finish off your meal as well. The prices are reasonable and the service is fast. Don’t be surprised if you see a long line, especially on the weekend, but it will move fast and is well worth the wait.
