La Vita Dolce Italian Bistro Lounge

Had dinner here last night and it was very good ! Tried to eat at Shoguns tonight and though they post their hours as 11 to 11 they were closed when I called at 9:20. We had a place in Parker area for 17 years so I know about the crowds on weekends and good food and service can be bad and your place is still full. I usually only post bad and excellent I was not going to post on this restaurant since it was good and that is at least what you expect! Ordered three bottles of wine before they had one that was listed on their wine list ! Was told they were getting new wines but I guess crossing off the ones they did not have was to much of a bother! Will still eat here again since the food was good and we had a great waiter ! If I knew I was going to post I would have made sure I had his name.

We went back a second time before our trip ended… Manicotti was amazing with fresh spinach and spaghetti & meatballs the best we ever tasted!

Service was amazing and the food was perfect all for about $ 20. I’d do it again anytime

I’m from Vegas and passing through Lane havasu for dinner.
Service at the bar was good. Ordered red wine and bartender game me suggestions. Took my time ordering the Waldorf salad which I loved and then the meat lasagna. Really amazing meat lasagna! It was always my comfort food growing up I’d request for my birthday and they kill it here. After the salad I couldn’t eat all the pasta so I took it home.
So for 2 glasses of red wine, Waldorf salad, and lasagna the bill came to 42. Not too bad for a lovely Italian dinner.

Ok this is a great place for a very nice dinner. I ordered the antipasto salad, absolutely loved it. So fresh and crisp. Definitely a good meal. Also had the dolce sampler, i recommend the fried ravioli. The service was amazing and fast and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

This is the first and LAST time I ever dine at La Vita Dolce Restaurant. We had a reservation for a party of four, after 30 minutes we were finally seated. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan, it was very disappointing and mushy, I asked our server to take it back to the kitchen. The other 3 meals were enjoyed my friends. All of a sudden the owner appears and he is mad. He then informs me how everyone loves his eggplant and how he been making it for 40 years. He is angry n become aggressive, I am unable to get a word in. The meal was mushy and inedible, he is a rude man who might had gotten his mothers recipes but obviously never was taught manners.

Best Italian food in the area ! We make the drive from Needles just to enjoy this place !

From out of town and went here for our Valentines Day Dinner. The food was amazing! My husband had the meat lasagna and I had chicken Parmesan and Caesar salad. The staff was super friendly also. This is my new favorite spot in Havasu! Can’t wait to come back!

We ate in the bar. Service was good and food was really good! I had the meat lasagna and cesar salad. I did not walk away hungry nor was i overly stuffed. This is the first time we ate here and we will definitely return!
Bar are had a good vibe and would be a nice place for drinks and appetizers. Although it is a little cozy there was sufficient seating

Unilocal! strikes again! Place was packed full of people and a short wait had us at a table quickly. Great choice for dinner. Staff was very friendly and knew their menu well to advise the visitors with what-​to-​eat? questions. Hubby liked the Veal Piccata and the Linguini with clams (red) was super yummy! Lobster bisque soup was very tasty. Baby loved it all too! Plate full of fried «doughnuts» drizzled in goodness and whipped cream is not your typical doughnut but totally decadent.
Only con? No baby changing table in the ladies room? Changing our Little on the floor of the bathroom was challenging. I’d suggest they invest in one. Also, was a little surprised to see a waitress pouring 2 different bottles of wine (one nearly empty and a full one) into the same carafe for a nearby table. I would imagine this may change the taste of the wine with one having been open and breathing and the 2^nd being freshly opened.
We’d eat here again, for sure!

My husband and I have attempted to eat here a couple of times for lunch but they were not open. My sister and brother were in town and wanted Italian so we said lets try it again since its dinner time and boy I am so glad we did everything was absolutely delicious. We had cocktails, wine, appetizers, dinner entrees, and dessert. WE ALL LOVED EVERYTHING‼ We are in town a couple times a month and this will certainly be one of our favorite eating spots.

I generally don’t take the time to write reviews. But felt this was worth noting. I’m sitting at the end of the bar by myself, ordered veal. Bread arrived, as I was talking on the phone with my brother. There were two men sitting between myself and the offender. He got up from his seat, came over, reached over me and was removing the napkin from my bread basket while the bread rolled around on the bar? What? What just happened? He was drunk. The owner came over removed him, and brought him in the Resturant, then apologized. But didn’t remove him from the Resturant. The owner admitted he was aware the guy was extremely intoxicated when he entered the Resturant… Needless to say, it continues… I didn’t have silverware, napkin, my meal arrived, was getting cold… I had to wait and ask for everything. Owner compted my glass of house wine! Lol Huh? He took better care of the drunk guy than me. He should have thrown his Ass out… I will never go back. As the food was mediocre also. Angel hair was soggie. Veal was tough

I rate five stars rather conservatively. Hands down, best Gluten Free pizza in the city! Nothing comes close! The we ordered take out. I was expecting the usual, pre-​made 12″ crust with decent toppings. When I say extra cheese, that seems to be forgotten by most places, but not here!
This pizza WOWd me! It was huge, perfectly cooked and so good we went back the day after!
Highest rated for a reason!

Lovely atsmophere and wonderful food. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in many years.
Patrick was wonderful and made sure everything was excellent and to our liking. Wonderful selection of beers, drinks and wines. We plan to visit again before we leave Lake Havasu.

My wife and I consider this place our favorite place for Italian food in Lake Havasu. Rob and his crew are always outstanding. They will make the food any way you like.

Dolce is one of my favorite places to go to for Italian food! It has a sort of authentic Italian feel when you go in and everybody is extremely polite and on top of things. And to the plus side, you get free bread when you wait for your meal!
Our favorite servers are usually Monique and Chad as they’re always cheerful and willing to serve us.
My favorite appetizers are the calamari and the Thai shrimp! As far as entrees, I always order the shrimp scampi and it’s perfect every time. If you’re feeling pizza then I definitely recommend the margherita pizza. Their cheesecake is always amazing if I feel like I have enough room left for it!
So all in all, I would definitely recommend this place to anybody I meet.

Just an update, do like this place the food is decent atmosphere is good and overall will go back.
Here is my issue, took my mom here for her birthday August 29 or yesterday for those checking had a great meal, server heard us talking about her birthday said happy birthday then to our surprise brought her out a birthday desert it was tasty and made her extremely happy
My problem was got hit for desert charge on the bill only 5 bucks but we did not order it why charge for it. Anyhow just wanted to vent

Seriously, best food in Havasu.
We have been here many times and tried almost everything on the menu, not one bad meal yet!
Prices are good for the quality of food, and they can cater to anyone with food allergies!
Best gluten free dishes I’ve ever had. Pizza is good too!

Risotto Balls are
. They don’t always have them so call ahead and check. They run $ 8 for 2 but they’re decently sized and totally worth it.
Good deal for the special when we went, $ 27 for the 8oz Filet Mignon and 3 Lobster raviolis. Steak was cooked great but the lobster ravioli was not that good — Other reviews seem to like it though.
The water is also Fantastic! But that could be because we’re in the sun all day in the desert.
Best deal is the Pizza! They’re huge, delicious, and reasonably priced.

Now I know where to come to have a delicious meal while visiting Lake Havasu! I have a severe gluten allergy and finding restaurants I can safely eat is almost impossible! I had the gluten free cheese lasagna, which was amazing! I pretty much licked the plate clean! My husband had the mahi mahi with asparagus and risotto. He said it was the best Mahi Mahi he’s ever had!
My son and his wife had pizza. Oh and my husband had the triple chocolate mousse for dessert, he did lick the plate clean!
Our bill came to $ 73. For all the food we had. I think was pretty cheap for four adults and a few drinks. Definitely will be back!
