The drinks have way too much sugar. They make them with less sugar if you ask first. They have good deals on used books sometimes and will order books if they do not have them in stock.

I like horror and mystery books. Their selection is very limited which is a disappointment. My kids like going in there for their novelty items. I do like that they also have used books to also but.

I love hastings. Every time I am in town I go to stock up on movies for my collection. You can’t do better than their Buy 2 used DVDs, get one free sale. Good deals on box sets and they have a pretty good selection. Also some fun Spencer’s type sections of toys and things.

Usually we make this a must stop place when hitting LHC. Today we got aero service the three guys that were employees were to busy fliriting with each other and talking about Zelda to even bother helping us. Oh well I hope their relationships work out. I wont be back. Usually the staff is great what happened?
Oh their new VINYL is way over priced!

A basic Hastings. They’re pretty much consistent wherever you go. I usually run by once a week or so since I’m an avid reader and they have the best book selection in town. They also have probably the best movie collection in town. I’ve never encountered any rude sales people here. Someone pretty much always comes up to me and asks if I need help locating anything. There is also a café/​coffee bar with a lounge area that usually has a couple people «laptopping.» They have a pretty big selection of used and bargain books also which are reasonably priced.

It has been 7 years since I lived in LHC, yet despite a new location, Hastings is still the same as I remember it. Heck, even some of the staff has been there since before I left town.
Looking for some new music for the drive home after a weekend in town, Hastings was the only stop to make. True to form, there were a few bins of discounted CDs that fit the bill. Some very good music that I have been meaning to buy was readily available. The problem then became, which couple CDs to pick up, rather than the basketful that filled my hands.
Not wanting some music? The movie, book and collectible/​toy inventory is pretty robust as well. Given that book only retailers are going the way of the Walkman, it is nice to have reasonably priced books available when you want something to read.

I love Hastings! Used books and movies Coffee bar and Wifi, A cool place to just hang out. Check out that huge selection of magazines. Pull up a chair and relax were on vacation! There was always something going on there. I found my used dvd of Eraserhead there!
