Boulder View Tavern

Just left this restaurant with my party of 6 kids and 6 adults. I could not have been happier with both the service & food. Pam was our server & her patience and attention to us was amazing. She continued to check on us clear our plates and ensure we were all taken care of.
The food was delicious and cooked to everyone’s liking.
I will definitely return to this restaurant for a meal & will request Pam to be our server!!!

Despite driving past this place many times going in and out of the Lake Harmony community, I’d never stopped in until recently. We were looking for a place to please a group of 6 on a Saturday night. Despite not having a reservation, we only waited about 20 minutes until being seated.
There’s a pretty diverse menu, although not a ton of veggie-​friendly options. I wasn’t too hungry, so ended up going with the french onion soup and a side of sweet potato fries. the soup was good, decently sized for only $ 6. The sweet potato fries are cut waffle style, and I was a pretty big fan. Half the table ordered the french dip, which was supposed to be topped with simmered onions, though they ended up being raw, which didn’t go over well. Others ordered the pork BBQ on a pretzel bun and gave it a good review.
Unfortunately it was dark so we couldn’t fully appreciate the view, but as mentioned by other reviewers it is certainly a prime location. While certainly not gourmet, it’s a decent place to grab a meal.

Waiter was really nice, but the food tastes bland and ew. Served quite slow and the music sounded like country meets hillbillies.

Love to stop here especially on the summer. Nice but not as much fun.

This was me and my wife’s first visit, and we will be coming back. The Serving staff and bartender were incredibly pleasant, the ambiance was cozy comfortable, and overall, everything outside of the food was fantastic…
My wife ordered the chicken quesadilla and she didn’t like it at all; the chicken was dry and completely unseasoned. She did, however, like the jack frost martini that was on special!
My Turkey Burger was the epitome of average, didn’t dislike it, but if someone would’ve let me preview the experience of eating it before I ordered it, I wouldn’t have dared to think of the bird that Ben Franklin wanted to be the animal kingdoms personification of our nation, as being delicious between two pieces of bread. I will say that the wings we got after, to feed the hunger our initial meal failed to satisfy, were quite good. Crisp, saucy, and fresh, with just the right amount of kick. Overall, I feel this place deserves another shot… as well as do I!

Erica, our waitress tonight, worked hard to serve a good meal. Even though it was busy, they were able to seat us downstairs without much of a wait. There were a few changes: downstairs they wouldn’t serve the tap beers (one of the reasons we like it) downstairs. A bummer, but she brought the bottle list and the prices were reasonable and good choices.
My rare tuna ahi had to be sent back twice, such a waste, as it was WAY overdone. But Erica made sure it was done right finally & apologized. Don’t know what happened in the kitchen, but it wasn’t her fault. When it finally was right it was great! Worth the wait. Back sampler was good but other son didn’t love his boneless wings. Hubby’s «healthy» penne came in a cream sauce, not light garlic.

Love the changes and new menu! We will definitely be coming in regularly! Only downside is no n/​a beer for those of us that can’t drink alcohol!

Don’t know what all these 1 star reviews here are about. On a Sunday at around noon, my group of 10 came here for lunch. We were promptly seated and served. Our food was quite good — my pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun was excellent. not too sweet, which is good. I chose sweet potato fries for the side dish — I was so pleasantly surprised that they were sweet potato WAFFLE fries! The interior of this restaurant is pretty, especially with all the Christmas decorations still up. And the view of the lake is gorgeous!

Go elsewhere! Very poor service! Took 40 minutes after being seated to get drinks! Food hasnt arrived after 1.30 minutes… not happy. Update 2 hours and no food or bread.

A fantastic meal! The service was incredible, Denielle, our server was attentive, informative and so thoughtful. We had some food allergies at our table and she made sure that everything was ok for us. Each entrée was perfectly cooked and the sidewinder fries were out of this world! Thank you for such a wonderful evening.

It is a really nice spot to eat (right on the lake) but I’ve never been really pleased with the quality of food and the service is inconsistent at best. I would not voluntarily eat here but if you’re just going for a few beers it’s nice to sit by the lake.

Had a great time celebrating my boyfriends birthday here and with a large group of ten. They were very accommodating with coming earlier than expected. The food was great! Definitely a great place while visiting the area and would definitely go back! My steak was amazing!

This place is great! Food is excellent service was great. Family friendly, clean and did I mention the food? Holy cow the schnitzel was rocking. Kids loved their tenders and pasta. Mom loved the ahi tuna salad. The music was a nice touch too!

On vacation and decided to stop for a bite. This place is so nice. Very elegant looking, the service is excellent. The food is even better. Check out the photos. They have a nice patio overlooking the lake & the many boats. I would definitely come back.

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had in my life.
Made reservations for three outdoors for 7:20. Arrived about 15 minutes late but that didn’t matter because we still had to wait another 15 because they did not have a free table for us.
When we finally get seated, they give us a two person table and pull a chair facing a concrete pillar right in the middle.
Our request for a new table took another 15 minutes.
Now we’re sitting there and a waitress doesn’t show up for another 20 minutes until we get up and ask someone for one.
Our waitress was miserable and gave us an attitude.
We ask for a manager and she provides free drinks for us.
That wasn’t it though, they forgot to give us utensils. Our food didn’t come for another 45 minutes although it was put on «rush». Even then the food was cold and our waitress forgot to give me the correct side.
Overall, it was a long, drawn out, terrible experience.
And after all this, the staff only provided 2 drinks, a free appetizer, free desserts, and 10% off. Although that seems like a lot we still paid over $ 50 together for a very disappointing experience.
The staff working was Melissa, Sierra, Inga, and Amanda.
The general manager was no where to be found to solve our problems.

Great food and very good at alternating the dish to. our liking.
Mellisa was. really great too. Took some extra time to explain the menu when she found out it was our first time here.

Please someone train the servers to give the outdoor bar diners utensils before the food gets cold. This is a problem EVERY time. But we will be back. Great view.

In the Lake Harmony area there are not too many options for dinner. We choose Boulder View Tavern based on the menu, prices and ambiance. I’m glad we came!
I wasn’t sure if reservations were needed but I called ahead and made a reservation for a Saturday night. Upon arriving there were a ton of tables inside open and a few outside so reservations do not seem totally necessary, but always better to have one. We were seated outside and we had a beautiful view of the lake. There is a bar area outside and a man singing and playing acoustic guitar (he seemed to favor Jack Johnson which was ok with me!) We ordered the appetizer sampler to share which included mozzarella sticks, fried mac and cheese, spring rolls and fried pickles. Pretty much everything was fried, but delicious. I ordered the drunken salmon with sauteed spinach and a side of wild rice for my entrée. The salmon was cooked about a few minutes too long but it was good, I ate the whole thing. I also ordered a side house salad and was impressed with the mixed green lettuce. My friends were all happy with their meals. The menu prices are also not too high.
Our server was great! As she sat us she immediately expressed that the kitchen was a little backed up so the food may take a little more time. No problem, and thanks for the heads up. The food ending up coming out at normal time so there wasn’t an issue.

So you made it to this tavern. There isn’t much to do in a 20 square mile radius lol. So you are probably at one of the only options of bar/​restaurant in the area. The set up is neat, nice, great views, and outdoor/​indoor seating.
Staff is super friendly.
The food was decent, but i can’t say anything here was delicous other than the boneless wings. I did enjoy the experience.
This is probably one of the only big restaurants in town, I’d recommed it if you are looking for a nice place to eat in this area.

The place looked nice but you cannot judge the book by its cover.
We sat for 15 mins with no acknowledgement from our server. We decided to leave.
Btw… They have a two drink maximum. I think it would be a bad idea to go there to watch a game.
Hopefully they get their act together.
