Unlike the one IHOP in Commack that I normally go to this one did not have great service and the food was ok, the staff messed up our order and forgot stuff and it wasn’t even busy. The only thing good was the staff was friendly.

Ihop is usually my last resort when it comes to dining for breakfast. I try to find little wholes in the wall or divey types places. Unfortunately, during the Easter weekend everywhere I wanted to go was swamped but Ihop saved the day. When we walked in there was a sea of people and automatically we thought we were going to be waiting forever. The young lady at the host stand said there would be a 25 min wait but we only waited 10 mins which we thought was awesome. Our waiter was great! He didn’t write down our order and we were a party of 6 and he remembered everyone’s order and who got what. We were all very happy with the level of service and the food.

I take my grandma here once a week because she’s very picky about what food she likes. We never have a problem here, she’s always happy with the food, the staff is very personable and pleasant. I love this place!

Love going to this IHOP when I’m going to a matinée at the movies. That’s when it’s not so crowded. Other times don’t try it. This IHOP is very crowded on weekends and early afternoons. Service is very fast. After ordering your food arrives about 10 – 15 min later. Very nice editors & waitresses.

Food was disgusting. Ordered a southwest sandwich. Had a huge piece of tomato and hardly and turkey. My boyfriends double burger was dry and disgusting also. The waiter how ever was awesome. Made us feel welcomed and always checked up on us.

I like coming here for my free birthday pancakes (which you get if you subscribe to their emails). The pancakes are nice and fluffy, and the place is quite clean. Kind of small, but huge parking lot since it is near the mall

Always come here when I visit my gf at stony brook. There is always a wait, which is no problem because it’s not too long. The food is pretty good, as good as a fast food breakfast joint can get. The servers are the only issue I really have with the place. Today when I went, our table was missing quite a few things. Butter pecan syrup, pepper, ketchup and one set of eating utensils. I asked our server to replace the missing items. She came back one time out of our hour stay and it was only with ketchup. Then when our food arrived I asked for a fork, but after a 10 – 15 min wait she never returned. I had to go get it myself from another table. Pretty irritating because she noticed but chose to just ignore it and ignore us for the remainder of our stay.

Stop hating on my IHOP!
My kids and I have been coming here for years. When they were smaller and got a good report card, we’d cut school/work and have some pancakes, IHOP styles.
This place can get crazy crowded on the weekends. if you’re looking to come here for mothers day/fathers day/grandparents day, I say pass. Everyone has the same idea.
Wednesday morning at 10am? you go boyee!

I don’t get the bad reviews here. I’ve been eating at the iHop for about two years and its always good there. Sometimes the nationwide iHop specials are a really good deal.
On the restaurant’s cleanliness, of course its not completely sterile! It’s a restaurant for godsakes! It gets really packed so of course service will be slow. The food has to come out of the kitchen! Its not their fault. If you want dishes to be flying out, cook at home or a FAST FOOD ESTABLISHMENT.

I have to admit, I’m a fan of the IHOP. Breakfast is always quick and exactly
As I ordered it. Breakfast food is pretty good. Especially the pancakes (which should be obvious based on the name) but one never knows so that’s why I wrote that.
My only problem is that there’s ALWAYS at least a 30 minute wait. I guess that shows that they’re doing something right but I hate waiting. Best to go during off peak times.
Overall longer waits but good breakfast and when you order a coffee, they give you a pot. How could you go wrong?

The name of the restaurant says it all… if you want pancakes, this is the place to be. It’s oh so bad for you, but tastes oh so good! Full of buttery goodness… IHOP is great for some breakfast indulgence.
