California Patio

They have a great selection of patio furniture. The customer service is superb! Dennis the delivery guy was great at helping me decide the right placement for our umbrella. He was nice and so helpful! My advice would be to buy pre– and after season. It gets really busy during the warmer months!

We were very particular about our new patio set. Our previous glass table shattered and we were willing to invest in a nice, rust-​free, full aluminum set. Teresa was so knowledgeable, patient and just understood what we wanted (we were particular about a rectangular shape, 80″, slingback chairs, and color). She had great suggestions and advice and even moved around other furniture inside the store so we could get better light on the furniture… We ordered the set from them (they were by far the cheapest for the same set) and we were happy to receive the shipment prior to the promised 4 – 6 weeks.
However, the table was hot to the touch in 75 degree weather and in the sun. The armrests on the chair were fine, but we found that the table got too hot unless it was under shade (and unfortunately we can’t get the entire table under shade with our awning due to the angle of the sun).
She never made us feel silly inquiring about it and with her legendary customer service, suggested a few things. She NEVER sounded irritated with our many questions. After talking to Mallin directly, we were told we could exchange the set under warranty, and again, Teresa happily provided the best customer service and let us know she’d keep us informed of any news she gets from Mallin regarding the process.
Update to review to be given later, but so far we would highly recommend California Patio (we had to call the San Juan store since that is where the Customer Service line directs us to and the woman who answered there was also pleasant and provided great customer service!!)
Can’t forget to mention– we had to bring our kids in to shop and she never looked irritated with them moving their sample glasses around or sitting on all the different furniture. We tried to put all the sample glasses back, but am pretty sure she had to re-​do our efforts. Just a wonderful experience with her and her staff!
