THIS IS IN REGARD TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ONLINE ACADEMY (SCOA)
Honestly, I have hesitated from posting for a long, long while simply because I did not want anyone at this horrific place even looking at my social media or knowing anything that is going on in my life. I believe, although, that anyone who is considering this school needs a warning before they send their children to this wasteland. I was miserable here. I was treated like absolute garbage. The faculty was disgustingly uneducated, verbally abusive, and even mentally abusive toward me. I have never in my entire life felt the way I did here, and looking back I can honestly say that it was the doing of the faculty, especially the counselor and the receptionist. These people were horrendous in ways I cannot even begin describe. I was in literal therapy because of how terrible these people made me feel. I felt so unsafe that I was forced to hide where I was applying to college and where I chose to attend college. Having moved on with my life and gone to a respectable school, I assure you that this school is a pathetic excuse for any sort of educational benefit. I have learned more in my first semester of college than I ever did at this place. Do not send your children here. The people here left me emotionally scarred. I think back on my experience and it fills me with rage that any human being could treat another human being the way that they treated me. Since my leaving this school, the people who I encountered at SCOA have become the basis for what I never want to be. Honestly, it was the worst experience in my entire life. I am sending my greatest plea to you, please do not support this school. It needs to be shut down. It needs to go away. It was my personal hell. And from talking with other students, I know that they felt the same way. This place is not suitable for educating anyone.
