Everything good you’ve ever heard. The atmosphere is classy, servers make frequent checks (the manager came to get my used dishes), quick and timely service (in the middle of the lunch rush; my whole experience was quite enjoyable and lasted precisely an hour) that had a friendly vibe. My bread-​bowl soup was exactly as pictured on T.V., and my only regret was getting my picture out of focus (I didn’t want to appear the dork taking a picture of my food in the middle if the one o’clock rush). The ‘pick two’ is an awesome money saver, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much fare was given. The almond Quinoa salad… need I say more?

I come to this location frequently. They are out of the menu items I order almost every time. Mornings, I like to order the Soufflés in drive thru. They tell me it will be 15 mins to make one and I could come in and wait inside. Lunch and dinner time my favorite is the Lentil Quinoa broth bowl. They always tell me they don’t have the quinoa prepared and can’t make it.
My most recent visit I was pleasantly surprised when they didn’t tell me it was unavailable when I ordered. But sure enough, while they were bringing out the rest of the tables food, I was informed they didn’t have quinoa prepared. So I said that was fine I’ll take the tomato soup instead. (What I was already prepared to have to order initially). He said well we substitute the noodle bowl when we are out of quinoa, we just have to inform you. (Yes sir! I’ll eat noodles)

Traveling for vacation from IL. Updated location with the «fast lane kiosk», but doesnt attract enough customers for it.
Nice and clean, but the staffing and manager need additional training. While waiting, the staff lost the catering order in front of us. The manager proceeded to yell at the staff for the lost order. Then, they placed our two item order (bagel and milk) wrong.
We wound up waiting 15 minutes as the only customers in the place.
Their parking is weird also, 2 regular spots and then 3 spots for fast lane kiosk? … What?

This convenient location near I75 is brand new – luxe lighting, soft earth tones, sparkling new. While the baked goods are reliably Panera high quality, the Fuji apple chicken salad cold and crisp, the baguette soft and moist, the broccoli cheddar in a bread bowl was cold, salad sans dressing, and store stocked only whipped margarine not real butter — a staple at many Panera’s I’ve frequented. New store problems?

Happy to see a Panera in Lake City. Love the option of ordering online for rapid pickup. Food was ready in 10 minutes and accurate. And tasty. I took off one star for the lack of parking. I made the mistake of parking in front and with no room to turn around had to exit the wrong way thru the drive up. Good thing no one was entering.

It seems like there is always flies in the bakery display, and the carpet inside grosses me out. We usually eat outside, which is much better.

Typical Panera bread, good selection of bagels and pastries for breakfast, and great lunch options as well.
The best part about coming here is that if you have the Panera bread ago” your phone you can order ahead for «rapid pick-​up» or if you want to dine inside you can order from your table.
I’ve used both options and really like the ease of ordering without waiting in line.
Also not worthy, they have never messed up my order, whether ordering with a staff member or on the app.

I have been to this location a couple of times. I have been to other locations, and I think this location needs help… Employees seem to not know what they are doing. And soup seems to be under cooked and not consistant. As usual for this area seems a buisness will go thru quite a bit of help before finding the right fit. Maybe is the issue here. Drive thru takes a long time as well.

I have always liked Panera restaurants… I am glad Lake City finally has one. I have been going to the lake city location since they opened for business. I have been there twice this week and both times there has been an issue with their coffee. I have had to wait while they Start brewing a new pot because it was either empty or sitting there over an hour and old. Some of their employees are not really on the ball. Cleanliness is Really lacking as well as interest in doing their jobs.

I went into this location this morning and while I was waiting for my food, the lady handling all of the bread was COUGHING on the bread. She did it 3 times. I counted. Makes me wonder what else happens to the food that we are putting in our mouths from these places? If you are sick/​coughing at work you should be sent home when you work around food. They are lucky that I was not getting that bread. Disgusting.

I have been to this place quite a few times. The food is always good. Salads and soups are great!
There’s a gentleman named Adam that works the day shift usually, and he’s the man. Always making sure everything is good and helping every customer he can. As long as people like him are there this place will be good!

Stopped here on way north. Had a half salad and a half sandwich. the sandwich would have been great if they had toasted the bread or something, but they did not. The salad was really good, as was their hibiscus tea. For desert had a bear claw and coffee. Their coffee is really good, and so was the bear claw. The store was clean, the people friendly, and they even had a dude come by and pick up the dishes as we emptied them. A very pleasant experience. They have good Wi-​Fi here as well, and so is a nice place to relax. If people would not use their cell phone and hold multiple conversations at once all around, it would have been perfect. But, hey, we have seen that at Morton’s of Chicago too, so I guess there is no counting for manners these days. I guess it is too much to ask for a cell phone jammer in the restaurant :-)

After all of the anticipation that there had been in Lake City about Panera Bread opening, I have to admit, that it lived up to the hype. My Panini was cooked perfectly, it came out fast, and the food is reasonably priced. I wouldn’t recommend ordering any of the pastries during the afternoon as they are usually leftovers of the fresh ones from that morning. It will be interesting to see how long they can keep up their service, and quality.
This is a revision to my original review;
I came here for lunch today, and they did not honor my Panera rewards… This displeased me, therefore I am removing a star.

Panera Bread pretty much seems to be consistently good, with no exception here, though it would be nice if they had built this place bigger as it is crammed inside.
Still seems a bit surreal to finally have one in little Lake City FL!
