I love firehouse subs in general but this location had horrible customer service. The staff was slow and rude.

We got to firehouse before 8:30. They close at 9:00. Every chair in the restaurant was upside down on every table. There was no place to sit. We actually thought they were closed when we saw the chairs. But then saw the open sign so went in. The food was mediocre. I wonder what the owner/​owners of the restaurant would think if they knew. (Hopefully they weren’t one of the workers in there…)

the Firehouse sub in Lake City was just like all the other firehouse subs I’ve been to.
The employees at this one, however, were really friendly and nice and upbeat and even wrapped the 2 halves of my large sandwich separately since I said half was for my wife.
when it comes to chain restaurants it’s all about the customer service to stand out.
