We kind of wandered into this traction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom by mistake. We had a Fast Pass for the Safari ride, but we were very early. What a pleasant surprise this attraction was. We got to see many animals during our pleasant stroll through the area. We saw birds, fish, and even some gorillas in their native habitat. It was a wonderful stroll, and a wonderful opportunity to take some pictures. During your stroll there are several stations where is an educational opportunity. There are staff members that are giving Q and a sessions. Definitely recommend anyone visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Nice jungle trek, reminded me of Busch Garden’s walk through. However their Silver back Gorilla’s here are more. focused? I loved that the guides were all wearing the bags from the movie Up, and the stickers that they give to kids are the same ones the little boy has. It’s too cute. The gorlilla’s don’t need to be yelled at. I wish people wouldn’t do that. GAH! People… But the scenery and the theming are spot on. And yes, That scent in the air? That’s the Male Gorillas. They musk, and it’s their way of saying they feel somewhat threatend, and that this is their place. I guess they don’t like it so much that we traverse their area.

This a great walk through attraction, we went in early October and it was hot and humid AF(and I’m from Hawaii). You see a tigers, gorillas, and other animals, so it’s pretty cool.

This is pretty much a fancy zoo trail. You walk on the trail and see animals or at least you hope too. The tigers were all sleeping, but come on, they are felines. Felines love to sleep! There are laughing gorilla’s here so make sure you catch those guys as well as birds of all kinds. It’s really a cool trek and you won’t get bored while you’re exploring the jungle! I honestly didn’t feel like I was in Florida at all. If you love Zoo’s and of course animals, then there shouldn’t be anything getting in your way of this brief trek. You’ll get to see a decent amount of animals.

A great place to get amazing pictures of African Animals. My two-year-old son likes to learn what noises the animals make and I like to talk to the education staff and ask them questions. I always learn something new about a fascinating animal when I walk this trail.

Dashing gorillas are the main attraction for me here, but only because the gorilla was either just a natural showman or was just in a very good mood when we were here. He just seemed to strut his stuff like a male model. The other animals are also very interesting and I like that they have information about the animals so you end up learning something about them(i.e. habits, diet, origin, natural habitat, etc.) much as you would if you were at the zoo. There are also some researchers at hand to answer your questions. It is a very nice and informative stroll if you want to take a quick break from the rides and the shopping.

I’ve never been much of a long walker myself, but after having walked this mediocre-sized short trail through aviaries, aquariums, and several other animal habitats, I actually didn’t mind learning from this place, and being that this was found at one of the ends of Kilimanjari Safari, it really seemed to be like an extension of stuff people on this ride tend to miss from not walking(since entrance and exit locations are different) on the main trail around the park’s main corridor.

Better than you’d think! Pangani is Swahili for«place of enchantment». The trail is located at the exit of the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. You will see animals native to Africa-hippos, rhinos, gorillas, etc. There are research students working in the area that will be happy to answer questions and point out anything interesting or unusual that happens. There are bird-spotting guides that you can get which will help you spot the species in the aviary. The best part is that it’s a nice, long, meandering walk that get’s you away from the crowds. And it has… NAKEDMOLERATS!!!
