Co-Op Marketplace is the Disney version of all the market/vendor style places that are popping up in a variety of cities. East End Market in Winter Park is similar except the Disney version isn’t full of food vendors. What it is full of is Disney gear of a different vein. For those that want a magical kitchen that doesn’t SCREAM Mickey Mouse, than they’ll have it here. If you’re a little bit hipster but a Disney fan at heart, they have stuff for you too! World of Disney serves the classic fan and the Co-op serves the fan looking for something a little different.

I went to the co-op yesterday to purchase 3 expensive pieces by jasmine Beckett Griffith. I am in love with her art and the only places you can buy the prints are here or in Disneyland. If you don’t live in either of those areas you need to call to make purchases. I bought 3 of the large several hinder dollars. The staff was quick and friendly and we perused the other merchandise which was very cute! Loved the fantasy land wine glasses in the plate room may have to go back for those. My only criticism is that they didn’t have anyone to help get them to the car which is obviously a hike at Disney springs so me and 2 friends had to lug awkwardly large boxes nearly a mile. They should look into a way to help you get those pieces to your car especially if you spend over $ 1000 on them.

Easily my favorite part of the expansion of Downtown Disney into Disney Springs on the Market Place side so far. The Co-Op was designed to divide up the major lines of merchandise under one umbrella. BUT, at the same time, be able to make overnight changes to lines which might not be as successful(You’ll notice all of the racks are on wheels). Since opening, none of the stores have gone through an overhaul. So, they must be doing well :) My favorite store has to the one featuring Disney Parks themed kitchen and décor. They have beautiful items in there with a lot of creativity. For instance, I was in there the other day and saw salt and pepper shakers which were themed trash cans(Cutest thing!). If you have Disney Parks, you will love this in your kitchen.

Formally ESPN, I was disappointed with the new set-up, but changes are necessary to keep people going back. There’s not as much sports items to purchase anymore.

What a perfect extension to Downtown Disney. You’ll find things here that you won’t get at World of Disney. For instance, I was introduced to the happiest hipster Mickey while shopping here. The store is divided into several sections, such as home décor, makeup, accessories, sports, and a trendy clothing section. My favorite finds here were the Mickey and Minnie inspired Dooney&Bourke purses. And in just a few weeks they will be carrying Pandora Disney charms.

Co-Op marketplace recently replaced the Team Mickey store in Downtown Disney. Here you will find several mini shops including a cool sports apparel store where they sell old-school baseball T-Shirts. This is a must see if you ever go back to Downtown Disney.
