This is the first negative review I’ve ever written and I made a Unilocal account just to do so, so let that speak to this store, which was the hands down worst customer service experience of my life. Rude to me in the store and non-responsive/took no responsibility for their MASSIVE mess-up on a $ 1600 order that stretched out over EIGHTMONTHS. Only, eventually, got a partial refund when the manufacturer themselves called the store and insisted on it. The manufacturer also indicated they did not enjoy dealing with this vendor. Cannot say enough awful things about the stuck up, rude, inconsiderate women running this store and their inability to return a phone call, take responsibility for their actions, or fix customer issues. Unfortunately it’s one of the few places in the Midwest selling high-quality tack and apparel so in some ways you’re stuck dealing with them if you can’t order online. But, if at all possible, AVOID.

I purchased some items from their«mobil store» at Lamplight on May 5, 2012. I spent $ 516.76. I come to find out that they charged me twice for this purchase($ 1,033.52). I called them and explained the situation and was told«we have problems with that credit card machine… this happens sometimes.» I was asked for the amount/date and for my credit card information again. I gave them this information in addition to my phone number(if there were problems) and fax number(to fax me a confirmation of the credit). It has been 4 days, no fax, no call, no credit on my Visa. I am awaiting a call back. Update — after not getting a call back I called them on June 5th. They«lost» my credit card information and«forgot» to call me. They asked for my information again! Two days later, no credit. Time to dispute the charges.

The website is a mess, but the shop? Please. Quality goods, and quality service. Let’s face it, horses and all things«horse» are expensive. Ann Hubbards carries the cream of the crop(no pun intended) equipment in a neat and clean environment. The staff will bend over backward to help you, and while you may leave a little broke-r, your next ride will be that much better.
