It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I was pleasantly surprised with the new location. It seemed clean and upgraded. I enjoyed my healthy plate option although I don’t consider fried fish healthy it was tasty especially with all the yummy garlic on it.

Since they moved to there new location in the Laie Plaza they are 100% better then they were. I eat the Healthy Garlic Mahi about 3 – 4 times a week for dinner.

Nah, don’t get your food here. It’s just not worth it, it’s tasteless and expensive, not worth the money. Service isn’t good either. If you want authentic local food go somewhere else just not L&L.

Although a few of the parts of the meal were very tasty(believe it or not the macaroni salad was great) I can’t recommend this. Food was basically mediocre and the place was a dive.

Gross! The place was run down, digusting, I honestly don’t know how they can pass a health inspection. We went there after an hour of being opened; you can definitely tell they didn’t clean the tables or the bathroom(as the trash was overflowing). I had the bbq chicken over rice. The chicken was gross and not bbq! The rice was soggy. My husband a different rice plate, the sauce was watered down and the chicken tasted like it was cooked in the same oil as the seafood items they had! The employee was rude and spoke barely any english. We went to pizza hut afterwards!

I would rate this as 2 ½ stars. Since there are limited places to eat dinner on the North Shore(and since we were tired of eating shrimp), we decided to stop by at this L&L. The owners are Chinese, so they added some Chinese dishes to the menu. I had the seafood combo plate(short ribs, fried shrimp and fish, mac salad and rice), and it was decent. My girlfriend wanted some veggies, so she got the broccoli beef with rice(she liked it as well). This wouldn’t be my first choice on where to eat, but it wasn’t bad at all.

Horrible. Not to mention a safety hazard. Their back door is always kept open, which gives a prime view of their kitchen. Numerous times I have seen them smoking IN their kitchen(not even outside). Extremely unsanitary.

Wow, this was the worst customer service experience and food I’ve ever had on any of the islands. My friend and I had looked all over for some BBQ and finally found this place. When we walked in there was a lady standing at the register talking on the phone(in a language we didn’t understand), so we waited… and waited. Finally we asked her if we order from her, she replied, «What you want?»(note: she was still on the phone). We ordered our food, it came quickly(the lady is still on the phone) and we left(yes, she is still on the phone). First of all, the food was disgusting. How do you mess up macaroni salad? My friend and I both had shrimp. My friend said the shrimp tasted as though thrown on the floor, stomped on, breaded and fried. LOL! Yes, I agree. I also had some very dry — yet greasy — Mahi-Mahi. Maybe they dip their food in grease before serving it? Yuck! Everything we had was gross, greasy, and terrible tasting. Next time we know: eat from the shrimp truck instead.
