The Shade Store

It’s doesn’t get much better. We visited The Shade Store after moving to Laguna Woods and was very happy with the options that were presented to us by Aliana. She listened to our ideas and responded with samples both in design and in fabric. In the end, we requested measurements and proceeded with roller shades and cellular blinds. Flawless! Between the company that came out, EIS in our area, and the help Aliana provided in the Laguna Design Center, we now have the products installed that meet our needs for the manor we live in. Very happy with our roller shades from The Shade Store. They look modern, clean and high quality. I dropped into the store where Vicky was courteous and helpful. I took home a whole booklet of samples, had all my questions answered over the phone/​by email/​and additional store drop in. Ordering was easy. The install company, RST Installation, made appointment set up easy. They were on time and professional for the measure and install appointments.

I had been shopping around for solar shades and had been to Home Depot, Lowe’s, JC Penney, and House of Blinds and wasn’t sure that anything I saw would look good in my home. When I looked online, The Shade Store popped up, in the Laguna Design Center, but open to the public. They have a calculator online, so I knew their prices were reasonable. The moment I walked in the store I knew I would find my shades there. It is a beautiful store with glass walls and full-​sized displays of all kinds of window treatments. They also have huge flat drawers with 6×6 samples to take home. The selection is overwhelming but Vickie is very knowledgeable and led me in the right direction. I chose the Chilewich bamboo solar shade, a quality shade, made in the USA. I think it also has a lifetime guarantee, but who cares. It’s gorgeous and just what I was looking for.
