Carpet Choice

Horrible… Don’t waste your time. We called and confirmed an installation for two rooms before we were moving into our new home, then when WE called THEM to confirm they «had to check» and see if they were able to make it out. Hmmm what? We already set this up??? No calls back at all, my husband went into their office to get the name and style of carpet we wanted so it matched the rest of the house. He said that all of their orders were done by hand… on paper… and that everything was a total mess and disaster. No system, no computers, like working in the 80’s. OH! And they still haven’t called us back yet. Who runs a business like that?

Actions speak louder than words, don’t believe what Carpet Choice says. Our experience has been bad, starting with the installers and moving up to Sam the manager. To be brief, within days of installing the carpeting, the padding was splitting under the carpet leaving large holes. (At least they blamed it on the padding.) I asked them to replace all the padding to not have to deal with this in the future. They said it should somewhat isolated and they would come back as needed. I have been trying to get them out here for over 6 months. Now the carpeting is popping up in places (including the stairs) and needs to be stretched. I don’t know about their installers stealing jewelry, but I know they took my money for this carpet job and did a terrible work. Al and/​or Sam take their time returning phone calls, cancel appointments at the last minute or don’t commit to them at all. I’m at the point where I asked them to confirm an appointment in writing because they have rescheduled 3 times. «Oh yes, I will get that fax to you». Still waiting Sam. Don’t waste your time or your money.

Ok so an honest review of Carpet Choice.
We shop around and do our homework when it comes to remodeling anything. Our first remodel was in 2006. We went EVERY where. We went to these guys and ended up going with them. It was the highest quality carpet and it was at an awesome price. They did our upstairs carpet and stairs, they tiled two bathrooms and a laundry room and installed two limestone counter tops.
My neighbors came over and loved the color of my carpet. It was really a beautiful color perfect for kid/​pet stains but still light. My neighbors shopped around and they will tell you «I don’t know how your guys did it but it was the best carpet for an awesome price, they must have connections.» lol. They now refer Carpet Choice to their friends as well.
In 2012 we moved. We shopped around again. We still went with Carpet Choice. I had the same installers that I had the time before and they are the nicest guys. We trust them so much that they were actually left alone during the install. The poor guys had to move about 60 little figurines in my daughter’s room with no problems. I highly recommend you at least put them in the running when you shop around. I strongly recommend them for flooring.

Good prices, installers stole daughters jewelry in bathroom. Require installers to use one bathroom only and sanitize the bathroom prior with any valuables and sanitize after. Couldn’t prove they stole — be alerted to multiple visits to bathroom by greasy installer crew
