Delicious pizza! Get the dessert della pizza, you will not be disappointed! We tried the antipasto salad, BBQ chicken and the Grande Edo Siciliana. The salad had wonderful, REAL mozzarella cheese and the house made vinaigrette was perfect. All were great, and we can’t wait to go back and try the others!

Most probably the best pizza i have had in Southern California. The owner is very nice and accommodating, and very passionate about the quality and taste of his food, and it shows. Highly recommend this place to anyone within 20 mile radius! Its worth the drive.

While the service was exceptional here, I have had better pizzas at other create your own pizza places. The prices are also a bit higher, though they do use high quality ingredients. The set up is a bit different, no assembly line, you order off the menu at the register and they bring the pizza to you. Not as many ingredients as other places and they also do not give you much of each. For the fact that I ordered mozz, cheddar jack and a 6 cheese blend, my pizza had a a tiny bit of mozz and thats it, they really need to up the toppings, I would have really enjoyed some cheese on mine, it was pretty fry. I do like that they have different sauce options such as Asian sweet chili which I enjoyed on my pizza as well as the pesto. My husband had the garlic spread and it was really bad, very strong in flavor, pure garlic made it very hard to eat. My sons pizza had marinara and was very tasty, so in all only the garlic should be avoided. The salad was tasty and fresh, again a bit pricey. They are very concerned about how you like your food and want to make sure you are satisfied which I appreciate and the space is nice with plenty of seating since they were not too busy. In all tasty pizza worth checking out since it is a bit different than other chains, but needs a bit of tweaking to get to 5 stars.

The pizzas here are very good. It’s all fresh ingredients, no oil, sugar or butter so I didn’t walk out feeling like a fat cow. You get that Wood fired char on the crust, and it’s soooo… good! They also have appetizers, salads and desserts but come for the pizza ;) They have a bunch of good beers on tap, which is great with pizza but be warned, they charge about $ 9 per beer.(Happy Hour was $ 2 off and still was $ 7 per Big Wave) I’ll definitely be back, but maybe skip the beer next time. Super friendly staff too!

We cater this Pizza to work every once in awhile it is so delicious I had to go seek it out after work. I couldn’t stop with one I had to buy 2 and then 3. I’ll be back next week because I need to buy my mom this Pizza I’ve been describing as fantastic. And the employees are not just friendly but fun. No joke try this place out this is not your Domino’s Pizza.

Just got my first pizza from here and I got to say I’m pretty darn happy with it. Gluten free crust was nice and thin(which I prefer) wasn’t drowned in sauce or cheese(also super pluses) forgot the arugula but the pizza was so good I really didn’t care that much. Will def be coming back here!

We really looked forward to trying Pizza 900. Glad I tried it but the pizza is very doughy– as in it has a thick layer of uncooked dough throughout the pizza. Judging from their 4.5-star average rating, perhaps this is their specialty? And people like it. Nonetheless, I like my pizza dough fully cooked and I cannot lie. And if you do too, maybe Pizza 900 isn’t the right place for us. Have you ever bought frozen pizza from the store then try to cook it in your oven but the middle layer(between the bottom and the toppings) tastes like uncooked dough. That’s because it’s uncooked ;) Also, the pizza longed for its lost lover– cheese– as there was so little of it. I understand cheese is a very expensive topping but you’d think that cheese costs just as much as white truffles from Alba if you saw the portions on this pizza. If you’re like me and love these types of pizza concepts(one size, quickly baked«Neapolitan”-style pizzas), you know the competition is fierce(Blaze, Pieology, Pizza Press, Pizza Studio, the list continues). Difficult to recommend unless your appetite craves doughy pizza with chintzy servings of cheese. Friendly service, plenty of parking.

Love it!!! What’s there not to love?! I’ve been here at least half a dozen times because it is SOO good! There are pizzas that different than any others that you’d typically get at a pizza place, like The Jimmy. What is The Jimmy, you ask? It’s just anything and everything that they have at that time. They just put on ingredients that they have on stock, and call it a pizza. We tried it once, and it was really good! The only thing that we didn’t like about it was that it had bacon… BUT I’m sure we could have requested it to not have any bacon. So next time, I will get that! We’ve made our own before, and we’ve also gotten the specialties. All of them came out really delicious!!! I’m craving some as I’m typing this! All of the ingredients are fresh! Believe it or not, they cut their own pineapples, meaning no canned pineapples! I was amazed, because I had never came across a place with house-cut pineapples! This place is a bit pricier than other pizza places, but definitely worth it as they use only fresh ingredients! Come during Happy Hour(3pm — 6pm EVERY day!) and save some money($ 2 off Signature pizza)! There’s always a lot of parking in the parking lot, so you’ll be fine, even during the rushes. :) As for service? A++++! The owner always comes around and asks if everything’s okay! He is VERY friendly and loves to joke around! Great guy to talk to! Everyone else is super friendly! All in all, I’d HIGHLY recommend this place if you want some high-quality pizza! I’m so glad I came here after having it bookmarked for a long time and was scared it was going to be like a Pielogy kind of place. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Pizza 900 it was a little bit of a trek for us but after reading all the 5 star reviews we knew this was not going to disappoint. If you are a newby they will all cheer and yell«FIRSTTIMER!!!» as the owner greets you. Super friendly staff and sparkly clean). My margherita pizza was mouthwatering delicious, the sauce so fresh, clearly made from scratch with a handful of ingredients. All the fresh ingredients really shine in the unfussiness of their pizza sauce and garlic bread, which is like a big toppingless pizza smothered in olive oil, garlic and herbs served with marinara or tomato basil for which I asked for seconds after wiping the first cup dry with my bread. Washed it all down with a draft IPA. I have only two suggestions for Pizza 900. Boost the flavor on the dough. I was jonesing for a salt shaker. I have the same problem when I make dough at home and if you aren’t brushing the edges with olive oil you have to achieve flavor elsewhere. The crust texture is a great combo of crunch and chew although personally I like a touch of char with BIG ol’ crust bubbles. The other is the ambiance, as I sat and ate my pizza I found myself redesigning the dining area, I’d add a partition that separates the ordering from the dining process, I’d try to make the dining atmosphere more cozy, it feels a bit sterile and those overhead LEDs are glaringly strong but on the upside molto bene for instragram’n the pie!

Pizza 900 is a hip and stylish place that focuses on authentic Neapolitan specialty wood fired pizzas. Each pizza costs more than you would pay at most places(taking into consideration the discount, low quality pizza places), but for the quality of ingredients and dough you get, it’s worth the price. Whenever my friends and I come here, we order the Red Sauce, fresh mozzarella, sliced pepperoni, roasted mushrooms, roasted Italian sausage, oregano, sea salt, extra virgin Olive Oil, fresh basil, and Parmesan. Along with the quality pizza ingredients, Pizza 900 offers a variety of quality beer, wine, soft drinks, and water. Once the pizza arrives at your table, you cannot wait to dig in. I really wish they offered larger sizes, but they usually come in individual sizes. If you come with a group of friends, I encourage you to order different pizzas to try out what else they offer. You can taste the quality of the ingredients(the roasted Italian sausage and the sliced pepperoni were delicious). The crust is perfect(crisp on the outside and nice and chewy on the inside). You could tell everyone was enjoying their food because the whole table was silent until the very last bite. Once we were done, we were all smiles!

Wow… Talk about a fresh slice of Italy! My boyfriend and I drove here from Costa Mesa to see what all the talk was about and boy we were glad. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by every staff member including the owner. It was our first time so they were very helpful with ordering. She informed us that everything was made fresh daily! They make their own fresh cheese daily. You won’t find a refrigerator or microwave here. Pizza came fairly quick and was delicious!!! I hope they open another in my neck of the woods or we will drive back.

I think the pizza here was pretty average. My kids had a cheese pizza and pineapple pizza, I tried the PMS and my wife ordered the BBQ chicken. None of the pizzas knocked my socks off. I’m not saying the pizza was bad but I much prefer the flavor of Blaze and MOD pizza. The service was good, the prices were reasonable and the Pizzas were larger than I expected. I wouldn’t go out of my way to avoid this place but I also wouldn’t go out of my way to come here either.

Awesome pizza and service. Love the baby arugula they use as a topping option. The pesto sauce was great, and the crust had just the right amount of crunchiness. The Parmesan slices added a nice touch to both pizza and salad. Got a free drink for checking in on Unilocal. We will definitely be back!

I tried Pizza 900 when they catered one of the SoCo outdoor movie nights in Costa Mesa. Since that time, they’ve opened a location in Laguna Hills. This little pizza joint serves some of the tastiest pizza I’ve had since visiting Italy. It’s Neapolitan style pizza but you can create your own or go with any of the signature creations. We walked in on a Wednesday evening and they were having a Hangar 24 tap takeover event. We said it was our first time there so they announced to all the staff«first timers» which was kind of funny. We ordered the Americano pizza, Greek salad, a Hangar 24 double IPA, and a Karl Strauss peanut butter porter. The Hanger 24 draft beer came with a free Hangar 24 pint glass. Score! We were given a number and we went to find a table to sit at. It wasn’t too busy in the restaurant yet so there were a few empty tables to choose from. The food came out fairly quickly but the pizzas are made to order. We thought it was funny that we were given wrapped plastic utensils, seeing as there are containers of plastic utensils by the soda machines. The salad was dressed with a tangy vinaigrette and the pizza was cooked with a slight char on the bottom but it was delicious. You can really taste the garlic and the sauce is out of this world. I really enjoyed the thin crust which had a chewy bite to it. My boyfriend said that the meal felt lighter than he expected which is a good thing. We even met the owner Ari who came over to introduce himself and ask our names. He asked what we thought and shook our hands. It was definitely a nice gesture. Once we were finished someone came by to clear our glasses and used paper plates. They are pretty efficient here. Pizza 900 is located on Lake Forest Drive by the NuVision Financial credit union. It’s a welcome addition to the neighborhood. We will definitely be back for more of that fantastic pizza. Ciao!

My brother brought me here while I was out visiting back home. I was a bit skeptical at first. The appearance and location is nothing that remarkable. The service and food make up for it though. We placed our order at the front with the cashier. She was extra friendly and eager to answer any questions. The guys making the pizzas were very friendly too. The prices are fair. We got 2 pizzas for $ 20. You can choose from the list of pizza choices they suggest or you can build your own. We ordered 2 small pizzas from their list of options. We got the bbq chicken and what they call the PMS pizza — Pepperoni, Mushroom and Sausage. The pizzas came out quick and were high quality and delicious. The crust was excellent. We took our leftovers home and everyone enjoyed it the next day too. I would definitely return here.

This is an authentic review. I was not asked to give a review at all. Just a customer. Great pizza. I mean for the most part pizza is pizza, but this thin crust pie was extremely tasty. Super fresh ingredients, great décor & atmosphere and friendly staff that yells«Ciao bello/bella!» As you walk in. A lot of beers, including local brewed, on tap. Enjoy yourself.

This is now our go-to lunch place! I work 2 blocks away and we usually end up here every Friday. There’s just something about pizza and beer(or Prosecco for me) that just works for a Friday afternoon! We’ve tried the margherita, the speciale prosciutto, the gardina verde and the DonFather. Each one has been perfect. Crispy crust, fresh ingredients, tasty combinations. We are going to work our way through the rest of the menu. The staff is always super sweet, even when it’s crowded, which is every Friday by 12:30. Come early, come often!

A legitimate Neapolitan wood fired pizza place in So. OC? Yes… that’s exactly what this is! After reading the reviews on Unilocal,I couldn’t resist. I had also read a tip that they have Happy Hour from 3−6pm every day! So hubby & I trekked down there before 6pm to check it out. We got there around 5:20pm and it was not that crowded yet, but it quickly became very busy before 6pm! Their Happy Hour includes $ 2 off all of their signature pizzas and $ 2 off all craft beer drafts. What a deal! I got their Americano pizza — red sauce, fresh mozzarella, sliced pepperoni, sea salt, fresh basil, parmesan cheese & extra virgin olive oil. It was cooked in their wood fired pizza oven. The pizza had 8 slices. It was incredible and awesome! I love the thinner crust pizza. It reminded me a lot of the pizza we had in Naples, although it wasn’t as «soupy» as the pizza in Naples. It was perfect! Unlike the pizza in Italy, they actually cut the pizza into slices(in Italy, they don’t). The pizza was $ 9 but mine was $ 7 with the $ 2 happy hour discount. I also got the Stone Mutt Brown Ale, my favorite kind of beer. The beer was $ 5.50 but I got $ 2 off for happy hour. It’s a 12 oz pour which is just enough, as the ABV is higher than a regular beer. They have approx. 8 craft beers on tap, plus bottle beers. All craft beers are $ 2 off for happy hour. The environment is like a fast food type of place where you stand in line, order your food, then find a table. The customer service is outstanding. Everyone is very friendly. They also play Italian music in the background, and there is 1TV showing a sporting event. They’re located in a strip mall area, near the Snooty Fox restaurant, right off the 5 fwy and Lake Forest Drive. I highly recommend it!
