Made an appointment online (super convenient) with Brian and showed up and he saw me immediately.
Did a great job and the shaving of my neckline was a nice touch. Saw a friend getting his hair cut by the owner and it felt very neighborhood and just so relaxing and nice. Great vibe and nice guys that work here. The dog was an added bonus too! Looking forward to coming back for a shave and beard trim. Brian did a killer job and his price was so reasonable.
Being a local I will def be coming back and it’s so great to have somewhere I can trust down the street.

Support this business!!! Easily the best barber shop I’ve ever been to. The guys are pros, do a great job, and they’ll keep you entertained while they do their thing. Brandon is running one hell of an operation, as I don’t know one person that’s been here that doesn’t wax poetic about the place. The location is small and they only have a few guys working so make sure to get a reservation online, but don’t hesitate to go here if you want a great cut or a shave at a good price. You won’t regret it!

Great spot to hand out or get a great haircut… Bryan is the man. My hair is not easy to cut as I have many cowlicks. Bryan gave me the best haircut I’ve had.

Best haircut I’ve had in OC. Great price, great location. Parking can be so so depending on when you go. Make an appointment. They asked what I want and I said make it look it look good, whatever you want to do. And it looked great. They also do an awesome job on beard clean ups!

Brandon is the man! Heck you can’t get a better tradition men’s haircut from any of the barbers in Orange County. They also have ice cold Modelos on request. My highest recommendation for their services.

This is THE place for a beard trim, shave, and/​or haircut. Had my guys for my wedding fixed up here. I can’t express how well these guys did their job! I live 40 miles away and still make trips here just for a cut and shave. Mike is the only one I have had so far, but after the experience, I trust all the barbers here at The Den.

Best haircut I have ever had!!! Ask for Brian. I have been to so many shops. These guys are like surgeons. They know how to cut hair. I have difficult hair to cut. They knew exactly what to do to get my hair to stay in place without glueing down the cowlicks, etc. Highly recommended!!! Great prices. Great atmosphere and bevs.

If I could give them ten stars I would! Hands down the best haircut I’ve ever had. I look better, and feel better, than I have in forever. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and beyond talented. They are a cash preferred location, but will take credit card if you don’t have cash (being cash), and if possible make an appointment. I was lucky enough to score a walk in, but their phone rang nonstop with appointments being made, so call first!

I’ve been to every barber shop in Orange County and The Den is unequivocally the best. Brandon is surgical with his clippers. You can’t go wrong with any of the barbers there. Classy shop and stand up guys.

My first time here and the guys made me feel like family. I haven’t had a professional haircut in 10 years; just used clippers at home. Well it was time to do it right, but I had no idea what to ask for/​how I wanted my hair cut. I told Mike I was clueless, and he was super cool and said «no problem, lets try a couple of different styles.» Well, Mike nailed it! I walked out feeling like a new man, and the wife loves the cut. Not only are these guys super cool, but they really know their stuff. Mike has an amazing attention to detail and he ensured I was totally happy before leaving. I can get used to this and will definitely be going back. Go see these guys, you’ll get a great cut and be treated like an old friend. Thanks fellas!

Go here! This place is great. Two friends of mine recommended this place and I was not disappointed. Great vibes, by the beach, bitchin barbers. A man couldn’t ask for more in a barber shop.
My buddy and I both got cuts at the same time; Kelly cut my hair and I am most definitely going back. I walked in with an idea how I wanted my hair, walked out with the exact picture I had in my head. He asked a few questions and went to work. Real chill guys, and easy to talk to.
These guys are the best in Laguna with out a doubt. Spot is great inside and out, oh and feel free to grab a cold brewski while you’re getting a cut or shave.
Walk-​ins welcomed but make an appointment. These boys fill up quick. $ 27 mens cut, so decent pricing.

Really cool and laid back space with an old school barber shop vibe. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
The shop closes at 6:00 PM so make sure you book your appointment ahead of time if your planning on coming in for a Saturday cut. (spots fill up quick)
Also note, cold beers served in the fridge!!! You can’t get that at «Great Clips» :)

Old school stuff, cool décor, friendly guys. Easy parking behind the shop. Next time I will get my car washed next door at Sweetwater while I get a straight blade shave and hair cut.

This shop and the team that run it are the real deal. Genuine people running a great barber shop in Orange County. I’m getting my hair dialed in for my wedding in the coming months and each time my hair gets better and better. They really understand their customer’s needs and treat them like family.

While on vacation, I saw a business card for The Den at The Koffee Klatch in Laguna Beach, and knew I had to give them a try. I needed a haircut, and learning that they did straight razor shaves was the clincher for me. Never had a straight razor shave before but always wanted one. This was my chance!
Made an appointment with Brandon for a shave and haircut ($ 65 total for both services, which in my opinion is a steal for the kind of work these guys do). The shop is on the Coast highway, with two barber chairs in a sunny front room. A lounge area in the middle room seems great for hanging out, and while I was there Brandon mentioned that people are welcome to come in for a beer anytime and just spend a few minutes relaxing. Super-​cool.
Brandon gave me exactly the haircut I wanted, which is great, but the highlight for me was the straight razor shave. It was basically 35 minutes of pampering for my face. If I lived in the area, I would go in once a week for a shave. I got the full treatment — 3 rounds of hot towels, with moisturizing salve in between, followed by a meticulous shave. Then followed up by a cold towel and then what I can only describe as a styptic salve — stings but seals up your skin real nice. All in all, an excellent experience.
The Den is exactly the type of joint I wish I had in the Bay Area. I would absolutely be a regular. Dudes in Laguna should understand how lucky they are. Whenever I am anywhere near Laguna, I will definitely be back. Brandon, you are a pro and I am thankful for your services!
