Otana Brow & Beauty Salon

After reading so many positive reviews, I made my first appointment with Nasrin at Otana. My experience, both in service and result, exceeded my expectations. In fact, I introduced my mother to Otana, and now she is a satisfied customer, too!
Nasrin is wonderful, so professional, skilled, and reassuring (first threading session for my mother). To top it off, the prices are so reasonable! I highly recommend Otana and Nasrin!

Otana is where I get my hair and eyebrows done.

I was looking for a salon in Laguna Beach that uses Goldwell color and I found Otana so I went to see Nasrin for a root touchup and overall color. She did exactly what I asked for and I was so relieved. She is such a sweet woman and she truly cares about her clients’ happiness. Her prices are reasonable too. It is very difficult to find a salon in Laguna Beach that offers quality and affordable hair and eyebrow treatments. Otana is such a place and the owner Nasrin is always there and is a true professional with years of experience. I would highly recommend Otana and Nasrin.

I have never been to any salon where the stylist takes such pride in their work. Nasrin has an amazing eye for her craft and does an great job no matter how big or small.

Seriously it’s been at least 10 years since my hairstylist moved out of California and I have been searching for someone that would understand how my highlight should be! This lady is awesome! It took me less than five minutes to explain what I want as she did it so well with such reasonable price! Very patient, very sweet and very honest and on time, i’ve been back and I’m going there from now on!

I wish I could take Nasrin everywhere I go!!! I have been getting my eyebrows (and full face for that matter) threaded since I was 16, so I know a few things about threading. Due to the nature of my job, I have had to visit a number of random places all across the country, and Nasrin has been the best!!! She took her time, and meticulously shaped my eyebrows, checking both every 30 seconds to ensure that they were even and balanced. She has an extremely light hand (which is clutch when you are pulling facial hair out by the root) She threaded the rest of my face. Once she was done, I was about to get up, and she said she was going to over AGAIN, just to pick up the loose hairs! I was floored. I left 45 min later which amazing eyebrows and the most amazing skin. She charged 40.00 which is totally reasonable (the chain place in Costa Mesa charges 50 for the same procedure) I am now going to make it point to come down here whenever I am in the OC.

I have been a regular customer for over 9 months she cuts my hair, my 14 year old sons and 12 ½ year old daughters. She colors my roots with a very non damaging product and is extremely hospitable. She is always offering me tea, fruit, granola bars. She really loves what she does and her customers. I had her shape my brows and she did an amazing job. I always get complimented on my hair I used to pay 2x as much for my hair color and cut and go to Irvine Spectrum. She is just as good as my hair dresser at the mall is local and ½ the cost. I Love Her!

Nasrin is great. She really was very precise and I am very happy with my experience here! My eyebrows look great, and have a perfect shape! Price is also very reasonable, will definitely be back!

I have finally found my beauty spot! The owner, Nasrin, threads my eyebrows, tints them, cuts and colors my hair. She is the best. She makes me look and feel beautiful!

I needed a threading place stat and needed it coastal in Laguna. This place saved the day, and my self esteem.
The shop is right off PCH, with metered parking in the front.
I walked in and was promptly greeted by Nasrin the owner. She stopped what she was doing with the client to make space for me to sit down while I wait, I really appreciated that I wasn’t neglected just because I wasn’t the current customer being tended to.
I waited quite a while for two people getting threading before me, but with Nasrin’s courteous inviting demeanor, offering me a beverage like tea or coffee and a magazine while I waited, I was more than willing to stay.
The place is inviting and cute, eyebrows are pricier than what I’m used to, but she still did a great job and gave me a nice clean up without thinning them out.
She knows how to do customer service, and says bye to her customers with a cheek to cheek air kiss. So persian of her I love it. Thank you for a pleasant experience Nasrin!

Nasrin, the owner of Otana, is a master of eyebrow threading. I’ve had my eyebrows threaded all over Orange County, and she is the best at sculpting a beautiful shape. She is a sweet lady and takes her time to make sure you look your best.
