Laguna Feast Authentic Mexican Cuisine

Delicious food, fair prices, good service, no crowds! Best Mexican place for after the beach, hands down.

I’m reviewing this place for what it is… a cheap Mexican joint. This is a basic place service hot standards with counter service. The outdoor patio is a nice touch which allows pets. The staff is always friendly and efficient. Taco Tuesday is a deal.

Great little Mexican place in Laguna! Price point is perfect for a quick bite and the food is fabulous. Come for the great salsa bar and friendly service too!

My favorite Mexican food in Laguna Beach. The food is flavorful and authentic, the guys who work there are very friendly, and the prices are relatively cheap for Laguna. I definitely recommend this place if you’re craving Mexican.

I usually judge a Mexican restaurant by the tamales. In this case I did not. It was so incredibly spicy that one bite was all I could handle. The 5 stars is for the chicken chimichanga. That dish is the second item I judge on. Let’s say I’ve been searching for this perfect packet of a chicken chimichanga since my favorite chicken chimichanga joint left the game. I’m a hole in the wall Mexican place kinda gal and this is it. All locals inside which is a great sign. They were packed for take out orders and for good reason. Solid rice and beans and both red and green sauces. Hot, made to order comida. Muy Bueno.

We’re visiting so we used help to find this place. And we were not disappointed. It’s a cute little restaurant, nothing fancy and super laid back.
I ordered a combo plate of chicken tamale, shredded beef taco, rice and beans. The shredded beef had a nice flavor and the tamale’s texture was light and fluffy. It also had a great corn flavor without being too starchy. The table came with free chips and salsa. And our food came out quickly.
I’d defiantly recommend this place of you’re looking for cheap delicious mexican food.

My Fiancé and I come here EVERY Tuesday for Taco Tuesday. Their tacos and homemade salsa are the best by far. I get the carnita tacos. The guys that work there are so nice and the service is great it’s also very affordable. I recommend this place to anyone who loves taco Tuesday. You will not be disappointed. I love this place :)

Flavorless and blan carne asada and pollo plate. This place seems like the food has a very «American Caucasian» recipes with no authenticity whatsoever. The salsa was meh, ok. And the cashier failed to listen to my request for corn tortillas after he showed me the store bought «Guerrero» tortillas. Not recommended.

Good, solid inexpensive Mexican food. This place is off the beaten path and caters to the locals. Service is friendly.

TACO TACO TACO
Taco Tuesday here is a fantastic deal. $ 1.25/taco! I usually get the carnitas or beef taco and both are very good. You can also get chicken as well. The service here is great and the employees are very nice.
And they dont hound you at the salsa bar like another place (see my other reviews) in Laguna Beach. And they dont confront their patrons when they haven’t spent enough money on their food to justify how much salsa you are taking. They also don’t use microwaves for their food like another place in Laguna Beach.

The only real taco Tuesday you will find in Laguna Beach. $ 1 tacos and $ 2 beers? Yes please! And the tacos are great! I prefer the beef tacos over the chicken tacos. The majority of the seating is outside. Service is also very pleasant.

Came here excited after reading good reviews only to be disappointed. I ordered a chicken quesadilla with a side of rice and beans. I got it to go and came home to open a box containing a soggy quesadilla. It was filled with way too much chicken and the cheese did not taste good. The beans were blan and the rice was okay. I would definitely not recommend the quesadilla. I only ate half my meal and dumped it. At least the chips were good. Despite my horrible food, this place has great customer service so I will give them 3 stars for that

Place is awesome. The dudes are super cool. The price is right. And they have 40oz of Corona, or even better, Sol. I rest my case.

Nice little authentic Mexican fast food restaurant with friendly customer service. Their salsa bar is a great way to supplement the flavor of whatever you’re having. I had an Asada burrito and a side of rice– both topped off with some yummy salsa. Their rice was a bit more peperry than what I’m accustomed, but I enjoyed it. Prices were very affordable. If you’re looking for a good fast food option, this place is not a bad pick.

This place is AMAZING! I had the chicken enchilada and tamale combo and fish tacos. The tamale was to die for. Lots of chicken. Sauce was awesome and flavorful. The fish tacos were so good. The fish was tender and juicy — not fried either! I can’t wait to go back. The staff was very helpful while my family was ordering and kind.

Went for taco Tuesday and it was a great deal! Tacos were 1.25 for chicken, beef, or carnitas. They were well worth it! Super delicious and great customer service!

Recently moved to Laguna Beach & looking for a local Mexican place. Laguna feast is delicious, my partner & I had Huevos rancheros it was very fresh, tasty and a big portion!
They have a ‘help yourself’ area with salsas too.
Will defiantly go back soon to try out some more dishes.
Prices are good too!

I’ll get straight to the point. Laguna Feast is the best! I wish I could bring this place back to NorCal!
I always said there were 3 types of Mexican restaurants, and they make up a very steep bell curve — the few that stand out above the crowd, the handful that suck, and the vast middle ground of the restaurants that are just a-​ok. I suppose this could be said for all restaurants, grades, things, people… but no matter how you look at it, Laguna Feast is at the very top of the heap.
We were looking for a Mexican place after a long day at the SD Zoo, but really didn’t want to try any of Laguna Beach’s large/​fancy places with lines out the doors. So we drove around a bit. By a stroke of luck we found Laguna Feast, a couple of blocks off the beaten path. This unassuming little hole-​in-​the-​wall was clearly a place favored by locals. And the locals know.
The friendly employees welcomed us as if they knew us. The chicken Quesadilla was a Taste Sensation! I don’t know what they did to the chicken, but it tasted like it had been marinated in some other-​worldly marinade, making the quesadilla eye-​poppingly delish.
I don’t want to bore you with my love for this place, but the burritos and tacos were right up there as well.
Everything from the entrees to the salsas tasted as if they were homemade. We were in such awe that we went back a second night! Laguna Feast is now our go-​to place for affordabe, delicious eats when we head to SoCal.

Best Taco Tuesday I’ve had since moving here 2 months ago. Best salsa in the area I’ve tried so far… in Laguna Hills, Niguel, etc. SO glad my art agent took me here today! I’ve been dying for great salsa and tacos since leaving Austin. So. Desperate. For good salsa. Finally!!!
Now if someone in Laguna or surrounding areas (I would drive for this… seriously) would make a badass queso, my life at that moment would be complete. Well, Mexican food-​wise anyway.
Can’t wait to go back to this little joint and try more. Definitely my new Taco Tuesday spot. Gracias!
P. S.Beef and chicken are my favorite. Carnitas are pretty damn good as well. Happy eating!

Great guys running this spot.
Had Shrimp diabla. So delicious. So much flavor. It was spicy, but not too spicy at all. The presentation was bright and enticing.
We started with the guac and it was nice. We washed it all down with a giant Carta Blanca and were stoked to be chilling on a nice day in SoCal.
Don’t half step. Sit outside and chill in the shade on a hot day.
